We had such an incredible experience working with Louise's Cakes N Things for our wedding cakes. I had originally thought I would use another bakery in town in Homewood whose cakes I really loved. But their lackluster enthusiasm for talking about wedding cakes made us super nervous, so a friend recommended we try Louise's. Boy, are they the consummate professionals! We tasted their cakes and couldn't believe how delicious the white wedding cake flavor was. Because we were two women getting married, we were not in need of a groom's cake, but after tasting their strawberry cake, we knew we wanted to work that into the wedding as well. So, we had an idea to do a "Pup Cake", which honored our two dogs. We had a topper made from a vendor on Etsy that was a model of our two dogs, with a sign that said "We Do Too"! We did a strawberry cake, and they made chocolate footprints leading up the side of the cake, with several chocolate dipped strawberries for garnish. I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments we got on this cake, both for its cute design AND how tasty it was! Overall, our experience with Louise's was unforgettable, and they helped to make our special day just perfect.

I absolutely cannot recommend Louise's Cakes N Things enough. Emily is an amazing business woman. She made us feel so important and worked hard to make sure every detail was correct. Oh and did I mention the cakes were DELICIOUS?! 100000000% would use again.

They did a great job on my wedding cake and the grooms cake! The cake was gorgeous and tasted delicious! Their prices are not bad and worth every penny! I would highly recommend them!

Louise's did a superb job catering my daughters wedding!! Food was delicious and so was the cake!!! So many compliments. The staff was beyond fantastic from set up to serving to clean up. Very very professional and courteous !!! I have nothing but great things tomsaybabout my experience with this great company!!!

Louise's made my parents' wedding cakes 26 years ago and that's why I chose them to make ours. We were more than thrilled with the outcomes. I had a 5 tier white buttercream cake with tiers of hydrangeas in between each and it turns out it was the tallest cake they had ever made. It was beautiful. Tasted amazing. It was my favorite part of our reception! His cake was an Arkansas Razorback stadium cake and I was little nervous about the taste with it being fondant, but his rivaled mine! It was so good. We can't say enough good things about Louise's!

The wedding cake and grooms cake turned out gorgeous and all of our guests complemented them. The cakes tasted delicious and the staff was easy to work with. We took a picture of what we wanted our cakes to look like and they came out perfect!

Louise's did an excellent job with the cakes. We got both cakes from them. The bride's cake looked EXACTLY how I wanted. I showed them a picture of what I was looking for and they nailed it. It was beautiful and tasted delicious. The groom's cake was a little off from what we described, but it looked fine. We did a golf cake and I told them I did not want the golf ball to be big, and it ended up taking up the whole top of the cake. It was a little disappointing but not a big deal AT ALL! One thing that made it a little better was that the golf ball was actually made out of cake, not rice krispies, so you could actually eat it! Despite the looks, the chocolate cake was to-die-for! I actually ended up putting two layers of chocolate cake in my bride cake! That was a hit with our guests! One thing I would warn other brides about is the receptionist that works the front desk. When I called the first time, she was not friendly at all, and kind of rude. I almost didn't go with them because of that, but my mom convinced me to give them another try. Everyone else that works there is so sweet and polite! Don't let the receptionist fool you! Overall, I would not have changed a thing!

My cakes were perfect! Just as I had described them!! I would NOT have anyone else do my cakes! They turned out perfectly! I would recommend them anytime for any occasion, not just weddings. I plan on them doing cakes for me in the future for whatever parties I may throw! They are reasonably priced. Love them! Fecommend them 100%!

We used Louise's for both the wedding cake and the groom's cake-we loved them both! They designed exactly what we asked for. The service was great from our tasting appointment to the delivery and set-up. They gave us exactly what we asked for, and we had plenty of cake (even some left over). We did have to provide our own plates, napkins, and forks; however, that did allow us the chance to personalize our reception even more so. They were well organized, efficient, and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this vendor for a reception!

The staff at Louise's was very helpful in designing just the cake we wanted. We were surprised at the size of the groom's cake - expected larger - but we still had cake leftover.

This was by far, the best cake I've ever had. We got our dream wedding cake for a very reasonable price. For a small additional fee, they delivered and set up the cake station. Staff there are very easy to work with. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Allison at Louise's was wonderful to work with. I wanted a few different pictures combined and they delivered a beautiful and great tasting cake!
