The music they played was perfect and tailor made for the audience. Our guests spent the entire evening on the dance floor. From the earliest planning stage to the day of the event, Thomas made the process of contracting with the band and planning for our daughter's wedding very easy. We could not be more pleased or happier with the end result!!! A very happy bride and groom, in addition to the elation of all our guests, made for a fabulous night, thanks to Louisiana Spice!!!

If you are looking for the perfect mix of motown oldies and funk to start, with newer music towards the later end of the party, this band is for you. They will even learn specific songs that mean something special to you or your groom. ("Rich Girl" by Hall & Oates for me, and "Jungle Love" by The Time for the husband). They actually play every song known to man, you just gotta ask. On their scheduled breaks, you can even provide your own playlist to keep the vibe going. Overall, every guest at our reception kept saying how AMAZING the band was, which in our opinion makes the party. Their price was not too bad either - average for a band of that size and length of the party. Knowing New Orleanians like to party and dance their booties off, Louisiana Spice delivered on every level. Highly recommend this amazing group of true musicians. Call the day you get engaged because they book up fast!!

Thomas was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding day-- I am very detail oriented, he was very patient and addressed all of my questions/concerns. Thomas assured me of the band's abilities and experience....and he proved his word at our reception because everything was perfect!

We weren't too picky on songs that could/could not be played, but the band was more than willing to meet any requests.We had so much fun and could not have asked for a better band to play at our reception. If you are looking for a great time with some great music, Louisiana Spice is the way to go.

The night surely would not have been the same without you. To the horn section, which was my husband's only request, you are phenomenal. We really appreciated you leading us on dance floor for 2nd line dance. And especially for RICK pulling out the brass tuba. It was a hit! The bride's request for a band was a female vocalist but we were forunate to get two. Chelle and Betty thanks for your beautiful voices and leading our guests in line dances. Thomas, what can I say! You made me feel like my daughter and I were very special and her wedding was priority from our first conversation to the last. Thomas you nailed it! You called an incredible set and kept us and our guests dancing all night. I was certainly stress free when I thought of my guests being entertained by such talented musicians and singers. It certainly shows that each and every one of you love what you do by the performance you gave that night. I thank you all for giving me and my family , especially Courtney and Corey, a life time of memories. I requested the Chicken Dance for my new husband because he gets such a kick out of it, and even though they hadn't played it in something like 12 years, they did a really great job. All of my guests keep telling me how much fun the band was and want to know where I found them. I tell them, "I saw them on The Knot and booked them before I even asked him to marry me, I had to have them. I figured we'd have a heck of a party even if he said no!" Thomas was a great contact for the band and is so accommodating. Even the sound guy was a sweetheart! Do not miss out on this band, you will have the time of your life and your guests will be raving about them for months afterward!

sband and I wanted more old school music than Top 40 hits at our wedding, and we were so happy with the way things turned out. LA Spice kept the party going until the last second of our reception and so many of our guests were complimenting how great they were. They even busted out a limbo stick toward the end of the night and everyone loved it!

more traditional Louisiana stuff. This band absolutely made our reception. They were in complete control of our guests and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. Everyone from my grandparents to my college age cousins and guests loved the music. They were so professional to work with, very quick to respond to emails and very accommodating in song selection. They wear really cool suits and have a nice set up with lights and banners. They really just put on a nice show. On top of that, they sound awesome and never miss a note. My husband’s family is full of professional musicians and even they were super impressed. You absolutely can’t go wrong with these guys.

the band! I laughed and told all of them...New Orleans of course! Umm...we do have the best musicians in the world! My brother and sister-in law from Los Angeles followed the band outside on their break just to talk to them and tell them how amazing they were! :) Louisiana Spice was better than we could have ever imagined. They sound so much better in person than they do on their website videos. They played so many different types of music and their sound and lighting is awesome. There is nothing worse than a band that is too loud or has obnoxious lighting that can ruin the ambiance of the beautiful wedding design and venue. This was not the case with Louisiana Spice as they have their own sound expert. The band is so easy to work with and no demanding riders. The band is a 12-person ensemble and the horns are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! We had a 45-minute cocktail session in the garden before the reception & 3 of the band members played instrumentals during this time. I'm so pleased with their performance and so happy we hired them! Yea! Do yourself a favor and contact them now before your date is booked. You won't be disappointed. They were perfect! :)
