ovely to work with, and even gave my wedding party a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the OSC before my rehearsal. They were also so wonderful when I had my bridal portraits onsite. This place is a different kind of gorgeous - I mean, the stained glass in the rotunda is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you so much to everyone at the OSC for a perfect, memorable night.

it was to have a reception there. They are very particular about rules and times, but very easy to work with, and the rotunda/high ceiling/winding staircase were the talk of the night!

o the stained glass dome ceiling, to the ballroom with regal curtains and chandeliers, my new husband and I felt like royalty. The entire staff was wonderful to work with and they truly went above and beyond to make sure that it was everything we'd hoped for. Our guests enjoyed hor'doevres in the lobby on the main floor, main entrees in the 2nd floor rotunda, and dancing in the ballroom (Senate Chamber). We even had a picture slideshow playing on a loop in the House Chamber for our guests to enjoy (the same one I had created for our rehearsal dinner - showing my husband and I growing up and pictured with friends and family). The Bride's room was perfect for touching up my makeup and bustling my dress and my new husband and I enjoyed having our first meal as husband and wife in the Board Room before going upstairs to greet our guests. The night seemed like a dream... a dream come true. It was over much too fast. Both my husband and I agree that it was the best night of our lives and the LA Old State Capitol certainly had a lot to do for setting the tone of our celebration.
