Carrie did a fantastic job officiating our ceremony! She made the entire process so fun and personal and truly tailored to who we are as a couple. She curated the most beautiful ceremony readings and encouraged us to add our own special touches, making it feel uniquely “us.” Carrie checked in regularly, met with us in person to get to know our story, and made sure every detail was just right. On the wedding day, she was so thoughtful and even brought us a card, which meant so much. Everything was absolutely perfect. I got my start in weddings through working for local government issuing marriage licenses and performing civil ceremonies at the courthouse. I've always received compliments from couples that I've married at the courthouse that they were pleasantly surprised at how nice a courthouse wedding could be! From this I branched out to doing weddings for couples at all kinds of local venues. I've done weddings at parks, restaurants, hotels and even at a zoo! What I enjoy most is learning about the couples that I work with and personalizing a wedding ceremony that encompasses what is unique about them.

ts to incorporate into our ceremony. We initially weren't going to do a unity ceremony, but Carrie gave us the cute idea for a Lego unity ceremony, and my husband absolutely loved the idea! So we built a lego set for the unity ceremony that is still displayed in our house today. She even met with us a couple of times to finalize all of the ceremony details! We appreciate her help so much in marrying us, and we would definitely recommend her as an officiant for all!

ideas for our wedding ceremony about one year in advance. We inquired about several officiants in the area, but we are so happy we chose Carrie! She has a very calming presence and is extremely knowledgeable about officiating and marriage licenses with her previous experience at the courthouse. After the initial phone call, we communicated by email and she provided a questionnaire to fully understand our story. Carrie was understanding when we procrastinated on returning the questionnaire. She then provided us many options of openings, readings, unity ceremony ideas, vows, and ring exchanges. It was very customizable and she was flexible in ideas to best fit our relationship. We sincerely appreciated her demeanor toward our wishes to have a non-religious wedding. About two months prior, we met Carrie to go over the ceremony, the rehearsal, and wedding day. Our rehearsal and wedding day was absolutely perfect! Carrie was kind, light-hearted, and well-spoken. We sincerely appreciate Carrie's officiating service and could not be happier with our decision!! We also had many compliments on her ceremony performance and engagement during our rehearsal dinner/wedding reception. Thank you Carrie for making our wedding incredibly special and we highly recommend her for your wedding!

We made a couple changes to our ceremony because of her including a unique time capsule commitment ceremony and writing our own vows. Carrie was right, that vow part ended up being the most important part of our day and it was beautiful! Thank you for pushing us to do it Carrie! Carrie is also very organized. She got everyone in tip top shape for the rehearsal and even handled a stressed out bride minor meltdown with grace and understanding. she sent us different ceremony options to choose from - she also included links to different sites, in case we wanted something different. We ended up choosing the "first fight box". I have to be honest... I'm a very UNorganized person. So, three days before our wedding, when Carrie asked if we had gotten our box and our wine... of course, the answer was no (oops). Instantly, I was worried about how we were going to find a box in time; but again, Carrie was there to help! She emailed me a picture of the MOST BEAUTIFUL wine box on amazon. And then she even ordered it for us so it would arrive on time! (We just added it to the bill). The wedding day also went so smoothly... she really was the perfect person for us!
