Rachel truly took the time to get to know my husband and me, and because of that, she was able to tell our story in such a beautiful and personal way. Our ceremony felt completely unique to us. It didn’t feel like something that could have belonged to anyone else. Every word felt thoughtful, meaningful, and helped us convey our feelings for one another without the pressure of writing our own vows. We also shared so many laughs with her throughout the process, and by the time our wedding day arrived, she truly felt more like a friend than our officiant.
One moment I will never forget was before the ceremony. We had thunderstorms and rain all day, and I was feeling so upset about the weather. Rachel came up to the bridal suite, spent time with me, comforted me, reminded me that rain on your wedding day is good luck, and most importantly, reminded me of the real reason we were all there. She made me laugh, calmed my nerves, and gave me exactly the reassurance I needed in that moment.
My husband and I are both very uncomfortable being the center of attention, but standing up there with Rachel made us feel completely at ease. Her warmth and calming presence made the entire ceremony feel intimate, relaxed, and so incredibly special.
Reverend Rachel is not only an amazing officiant, but an amazing person with such a genuine heart. She made one of the most important moments of our lives even more meaningful than we could have imagined. We are so grateful that our wedding brought her into our lives and feel so blessed to have this forever connection with her.
