Love Based Beauty is all about celebrating individuality, which is why I make sure all of my clients feel as authentic as they do beautiful. That same philosophy is why all of the products used are cruelty-free: to nurture the beauty that radiates from inside, out.
As a licensed esthetician, I specialize in preparing my brides for their wedding day with customized regimens. I consider the skin type and needs of each member of the bridal party, to ensure that everyone looks their best. Lashes and airbrushing are included.
Whether you’re looking for a more natural, effortless look on your big day, or full-on GLAM, I will make sure that you and your bridal party feel comfortable and walk down the aisle with elegant, flawless makeup that will photograph beautifully and last all night.

Cassandra was amazing! She listened to what I want and made me look perfect for my wedding day. My bridesmaid also raved about their looks as well. I would definitely recommend Cassandra and would go back to see her again for any big day moments! I can't say thank you enough!
I couldn't have loved working with Cassandra more! As someone that rarely wears makeup, I felt nervous about having my makeup done for my wedding. Immediately, Cassandra provided a validating, empathetic space where I felt comfortable sharing my feelings. She understood where I was coming from, normalized it, and made me feel at ease. Her talent and expertise is obvious and the amount of care and intentionality she puts into her work is admirable. I loved loved my makeup and fully felt "like myself." Working with her turned out to be one of my favorite parts of preparing for my wedding! Highly recommend seeking out her other services too - her facials are like...really good. Prepping for a wedding can be an emotional experience for many and Cassandra just gets it. Can I give 10 stars?
I followed Cassandra when she went off on her own and have been getting my brows done by her for years. In the last couple years I’ve also gotten facials and dermaplaning done as well. She does great work and I LOVE coming to Cassandra for all my skincare needs. I knew I needed to have Cassandra for my wedding and she knocked it out of the park! Loved my dewey, natural look.
Cassandra is amazing! She is fantastic to work with and really cares about her craft. My make up stayed flawless the entire night and it was a pleasure having her as the artist for my wedding look, she nailed it!
I absolutely LOVED having Cassandra be my makeup artist for my wedding! I don't wear much makeup, so I was hesitant about getting professional makeup and was nervous how it might look on me and if I'd 'look like myself.' I am SO glad that I found Cassandra and Love Based Beauty!!
The trial was extremely helpful, where Cassandra and I talked about what I wanted and practiced what would look best for me. The trial really helped calm my nerves. The day of wedding makeup was absolutely perfect! I was SO happy with how it turned out and couldn't have asked for anything better! The makeup fit my style and vision so perfectly.
Cassandra is such a kind and calming presence, she was so enjoyable to chat with in the chair. She completed all of my bridesmaids makeups so beautifully. I am SO thankful for Cassandra for making me look so 'naturally glowing' on my wedding day!
I couldn't have chosen a better makeup artist than Cassandra for my wedding. I literally never wear makeup and Cassandra created a look for me that was very natural but still had that bridal glow to it, and most importantly I was comfortable! I also loved getting to support an artist who uses vegan products. On the day of the wedding Cassandra was so much fun. She is such a sweet soul who kept me calm but was also like a personal hype woman. You need Cassandra for your wedding day!
It was beyond wonderful working with Cassandra. She's not just an extremely talented make up artist, she's also a calming and caring presence who truly wants to make her brides and their people happy. She's so passionate about her work and loves what she does. She's flexible, communicative, and understanding. At my makeup trial, she took time to listen to exactly what I wanted and on the day of the wedding she created such a perfect, natural look for me. She was sociable and sweet towards all of us hanging out in the bridal suite. She really knows what she's doing and my make up withstood a very windy ceremony followed by hours of dancing thanks to her! I highly recommend working with Cassandra!
Cassandra is not only a talented makeup artist and esthetician but she’s also just a ray of sunshine! My bridesmaids and mom couldn’t stop saying how beautiful they felt and how much they enjoyed sitting in her chair. She made me as the bride feel like an absolute goddess! It’s so important to surround yourself with people who bring you joy and she certainly does that!
Cassandra was amazing! I was able to do a makeup trial with her for our engagement pictures and really loved the natural glam look she did. Leading up to the wedding, I had a couple of facials with Cassandra, which helped my skin glow! On the wedding day, Cassandra was so flexible and accommodating in terms of some location changes. She was also great at helping the mothers who don’t wear that much make up regularly, feel comfortable getting their makeup done. I really loved her style as I was looking for a makeup artist that could help me feel glammed up, but still feel and look like myself - Cassandra did just that! And when I told her I was feeling a little nervous, she helped me calm down with her calm and warm presence. I highly recommend Cassandra for your wedding, skincare, and makeup needs!
Cassandra was fantastic! Not only is she a great makeup artist she's extremely kind, patient & has a very warm & relaxing personality - her rates are also super reasonable esp for the quality of work she does. Side note: I have super sensitive skin & the products she used didn't make my skin breakout or my eyes itch like most cosmetics.
Cassandra was a dream! I met with her for a trial and it was more than I could have ever hoped for. I have sensitive skin, especially around my eyes, and she made sure to use products that were safe for me. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and was a little nervous with everything that she planned to put on. But when she was done, and I looked in the mirror, I was so happy with how natural it looked! Cassandra really listened to was I was saying and gave me a look for my wedding day that I absouletly loved. On the day of the wedding, she also listened to all of my bridesmaids and different needs and looks that they wanted. They all looked beautiful. Thank you Cassandra!
Cassandra was absolutely fantastic on my wedding day. She was professional and on time. Communication was fantastic, and answered all my questions in a timely manner, even through my anxiety ridden messages in the weeks leading up to the wedding. On the day of, she also completed looks for all five of my bridesmaids, and everyone looked amazing. I wish I could post photos on this site. She took inspiration from our trial and tweeked a couple aspects when she saw the full look to have an even better look for my wedding makeup. She really brought out the 20s vintage beauty I was looking for, but made me look like me! I would recommend Cassandra to anyone, and would consider her again for any of my professional makeup needs!
Cassandra was awesome to work with. Getting my makeup done always makes me a bit nervous, but she listened to everything I said and was very attentive to all details. My bridesmaids loved her too!
Cassandra was so wonderful to have as a vendor for my big day! She was very attentive to myself and my other bridesmaids and made us all feel very special on my big day. Since I was planning a wedding during COVID we went back and forth on multiple different plans that could happen for the big day, and with every communication she was very professional and calmed my nerves. She is so personal and sweet and does a wonderful job with makeup! My makeup stayed on all day and it didn't feel like I had anything on, which is exactly what I wanted. Due to my wedding party size we had another artist (Jenna) with us too and she was also wonderful to work with.
Cassandra was a dream to work with. I wasn't sure how I wanted my wedding makeup to look, and I chose Love Based Beauty because Cassandra is so talented at both natural and glam styles. She was so helpful and down to explore and advise me during my trial, and she totally nailed the day-of look based on my feedback. I felt so beautiful, and so did all of my bridesmaids (and my mom!) in a style that suited them. To top it off, Cassandra is really freaking cool and legitimately fun to hang out with. She was a big part of an amazing wedding morning and day!

Right off the bat, she was personal and sweet yet professional and highly qualified. On my wedding day, she made me feel the most beautiful version of myself!
There is no way I could be more pleased with the bridal party makeup services for our wedding. I did not have a specific vision in mind for my bridal makeup, and Cassandra was able to put together a natural look during our trial. I appreciate all the time she put into making me look stunning, without overdoing it! With all the stresses of the wedding, I felt at ease knowing my makeup was in good hands. My makeup also did not require any touch ups during the night, even after many happy tears were shed. I received so many compliments. It was a pleasure to work with her!
Cassandra was such a wonderful person to work with. I absolutely appreciated her attitude and her camaraderie with not only myself, but my wedding party. She is a consummate professional and is very receptive to a bride's change ups, even after the trial. While she didn't have the greatest face to work with (mine, the bride) she no less made me look beautiful, and captured the vintage-inspired look I was going for.
She works very hard and is dedicated to her profession, and wanting to achieve perfection for her clients.
Cassandra was wonderful from our initial conversations, to meeting her at her adorable studio for my makeup trial, to her calm and fun personality on my wedding day! She was able to pickup on the small changes I wanted to make after my trial and I LOVED my wedding makeup SO much! She was professional, timely, and all the girls enjoyed working with her! I am so glad that I picked Cassandra for my wedding day makeup, and I would recommend her to anyone :)
I’m so thankful to have had Cassandra do my makeup on my Wedding Day. I asked her to take my everyday makeup look to the next level and she did just that and more. I felt so beautiful and my makeup stayed put all day..and night!
