nd memorable, not just shuffle around the dance floor for 3-5 min while everyone looked bored. So, we signed up for the Wedding Package plan and took 5 lessons with Agne, plus one Wedding Prep 101 class with Lisa and Chris. Agne choreographed a beautiful first dance to our chosen song, “You are the Reason” by Calum Scott. The first few lessons took us out of our comfort zone, but we were able to catch on and memorize the dance. Agne was patient with us but also challenged us, and the end result was great. We were set and ready to go in March 2020, but then Covid put a wrench in our plans… Fast (or slow) forward to September 2020 when we had our reception. We didn’t practice at all for the 6 months between our ceremony and reception; we did not even go over the steps in our heads or look at the video. The night before our reception, we literally practiced the dance 4 or 5 times, start to finish (all based on recall; we didn’t even have the moves written down, or a full video of it for reference). We were pleasantly surprised when we got down the steps with ease. For our official first dance, in front all our family and friends, we pulled it off seamlessly, including the impressive-looking lift. Our gym friends were especially impressed. It was definitely the most “magical” moment of the night, captured with one of our favorite pics of the night. I would, without reservation, recommend booking with Love Dance HTX to make that special moment even more special. Don’t let time, cost, or comfort level be a barrier. In fact, we enjoyed the time we had during practice, as a unique time of bonding and learning about each other better, especially amidst the busy, stressful times of wedding planning.

She makes sure that we will flow with our song but also make sure that we look good for the photographer! Very easy instructions and directions for every level of dancer. I'm also going to go ahead and say we did try another well known dance studio, but it does not beat the price and quality Love Dance Houston provides. We had two lessons with Lisa and Jessica, and we had so much fun learning the dance and then continuing to rehearse it so that we felt more comfortable. Jessica broke everything down into manageable chunks, and we ended up feeling super comfortable during our first dance! Two lessons were enough for us to feel comfortable for our first dance, but I wish we had had time for more lessons because it was so much fun! I highly recommend Love Dance Houston!

She is also very motivational and has a real gift when it comes to dance. The studio is absolutely beautiful too and so much fun to practice in. I could not recommend Love Dance Houston more... Do not show up to your Wedding only to middle school sway with your Husband... let Lisa and her team at Love Dance Houston make you look good. I miss Lisa and her studio, so I will be coming back for her other classes real soon!

ery helpful, my husband and I are not great at dancing and needed way more help than we could get from a group class, especially with a first dance song that had a strange rhythm to it. We ended up booking a private dance lesson and Lisa built the choreography to our song during the lesson, with our feedback of course. The private dance lesson also came with another group class. When we went to the second group class, we got to practice our dance and we even ended up changing it in response to what we learned during the class. Everyone was super impressed with our first dance and we are so happy we got our dance lessons through Love Dance Houston!

The instructor is the best and knew how to break everything down and the room was very nice and spacious. She made us feel very comfortable and I think each lesson got better and better which means she did her job and we actually learned a lot and loved our experience. I really liked the atmosphere and the wedding prep classes and we recently went to the customer appreciation night for country dancing at no cost with small bites and wine which was amazing! Hands down the best and she has a great sense of humor and I enjoyed every moment of dancing there! Thank you!
