I originally worked with Alex on a family member's wedding, and we loved his final video so much that we also hired him for my own wedding! We highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a videographer to capture their wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, Alex was extremely quick to respond and answer my questions. I definitely never had any issues with waiting very long for a reply. On the day of the wedding, he was easy to work with and made great suggestions for different moments to capture.

Alex was great and so easy to work with. He knew exactly what to do and was very professional. Wedding day went smooth and was stress free! Then of course the final result of the videos were beautiful. We would absolutely work with Alex again.

Alex is incredible!!! He was so amazing, from the conversations we had pre-wedding while determining our timeline, to capturing our magical day, and to the product we received that allows us to now re-live our special moments. My husband and I were talking after the wedding and saying how we barely even noticed him there throughout the night; with that, we were so amazed with all that he was able to capture and with the videos he was able to create for us!! Omg - grab your tissues because there will be happy tears! What an exciting experience - My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Alex to capture a video of our wedding day. We came across another project he had done for an old friend on Instagram and we immediately knew he was a candidate for the job. Alex initially stood out to us (and ultimately lead to our decision to go with him) because of his quality/style of work, packages and pricing. I was extremely picky through the process of vetting out our vendors and I am so happy we chose Alex to be our videographer. He did exceptional work capturing all the emotion and special moments through the day and exceeded all our expectations - we love his style of editing and everything he includes in his competitive pricing (specifically, the drone and raw footage stood out to us!). Alex has a true talent and eye for what he does which we could see from the jump - but what we didn’t know and learned in the process of working with him is how kind, communicative/responsive, and easy to work with he is - from our first interaction to the final product, Alex was so pleasant and professional. He managed his time well, always reminded me to smile (which I needed while under all the wedding day stresses!), and he understood the assignment! He never missed an opportunity to capture a moment big or small. He and his second shooter were also faced with working around/with our two other hired photographers and a content creator and he did it so well and smooth! We first knew of him when we saw him working our friend's wedding. When we ultimately hired Alexandru, he was very kind and accommodating when the scheduling were changing for our Chinese wedding event. He'd put together our wedding montage to tell a story that was compelling and made my mother-in-law cry tears of joy. Pricing was reasonable when compared to his competitors; totally recommended to get the extra angles by paying for his assistant since the cuts felt much cleaner this way. The cherry on top was his drone footage to get an awe-inspiring view of our venue alongside the Sacramento River.

I’m so thankful I stumbled across Love Genre Films’ portfolio. Alex’s work speaks for itself. QUALITY work with reasonable priced packages, he’s very generous with what he provides. Alex is AMAZING! He captured my wedding day perfectly. I was originally on the fence about hiring a videographer as I was running out of wedding funds, but I am so glad I made it work. Alex was more affordable than other videographers and I got lucky that he did not have my wedding date booked already. I think his work is better than other videographers, and he could easily charge higher prices. He is great with drone footage and paying attention to little detail Don’t waste your time with shopping around and comparing video packages. My husband is super quiet and there was no way I was going to convince him to wear a mic during our private vows. He was very adamant that it was not gonna happen. Somehow Alex convinced him to wear the mic! Alex was so calm and professional, he made us both feel so comfortable. I am forever grateful he got my husband to wear the mic. Several of my wedding guests told me how much they liked my videographer and how professional he was. Alex was also kind enough to take some still shots of my wedding details since my photographer hadn’t arrived yet. I am so happy with my montage and all the recordings of the day. Alex is an absolute gem to work with. His videography packages are the most comprehensive I could find in the area, and I was so happy to be able to get full coverage of the entire ceremony, reception, and toasts in addition to STUNNING edited highlight videos (incuding drone footage!) that was affordable. As you can see from his online portfolio, his artistry is apparent and consistent with all of his clients: you will end up with a cinematic masterpiece if you hire Love Genre Films. He manages to capture the magic, intimacy, and emotions of your special day as though you were reliving the moment every time you watch his videos, which is not an easy feat to replicate. He is very experienced and made the actual wedding day so seamless. I didn't need to stress about coordinating everything -- he did it all, no questions asked. He knew just where to go, who to reach out to, what shots would work best for the film, etc. In the contract, he also states the predicted timeline of when your edited videos will be ready, and just as stated in the contract, he was punctual with his services. Alex is a seasoned veteran to weddings, for sure. I would hire him again if we did a vow renewal in the future, and have been nonstop suggesting his services to all of my couple friends. 1000% recommend!

The best decision we made was hiring Alex as our videographer. He was very responsive from the get go and kept in touch during the process. When we decided at the last minute to add time to our video package he didn’t even blink an eye. He arrived early on the day of the wedding in order to get some drone footage ahead of time. I highly recommend booking Alex for your special day! The booking process was very easy and he was so great to work with on the wedding day. After seeing his work on Instagram and YouTube I knew we had to book him ASAP. He was one of the first vendors we booked. Our package included a full ceremony edit, a reception edit, 1 minute social media teaser, and 5-7 minute montage plus drone footage. I feel like we got so much for a such great value! Amazing and Wonderful to work with! I, like many others, was on the fence about hiring a videographer for my wedding - but I am SO HAPPY we ended up working with Alex. He has been incredibly professional and kind since the day we started chatting about his packages. On the day of our wedding, we worked with Alex and Yuri, both of whom arrived early and were professional, funny and sincere all day. They captured heartfelt moments along with some hilarious moments we will cherish forever, and we were so impressed with how many camera angles they captured during our ceremony. There were some hiccups with another vendor, and Alex and Yuri remained completely professional the entire time and I think it's a true testament of their professionalism and attentiveness to the bride and groom. We loved seeing all the drone footage they captured, and loved the full wedding video and teaser videos that Alex put together with music - we left all the creative aspects up to him and he more than delivered with sweet and special moments. I even asked him to include some extra footage of certain people in our videos and his turnaround time was SO fast. I couldn't have asked for a better videographer to work with who is also great at communication. I would 100% work with Alex again, and even our guests loved speaking with him and can't stop talking about his top of the line gear!

Alex is the absolute best videographer ever. He was so easy to talk to and work with. He responds super quickly to any questions we had during the entire wedding planning process and even afterward while we were waiting for our finished videos. We had a last minute request for our wedding where we thought it would be cool to have him capture a picture of all of our guests as a giant group and he did that so flawlessly! He even recommended the best time to get it done so that the sun was still giving us ample lighting and so that we were not violating any FAA laws about drones and flying times. His work is also so so so beautiful! Our wedding montage video is one of our absolute favorite things ever. The social media cut was absolutely perfect for posting onto instagram! The package we chose also came with a full ceremony video and a reception highlights video, which was an hour long and included all the speeches, first dances, bouquet toss and garter toss, cake cutting, and the fun dances of the night. These are priceless because we had a lot of family that was unable to make it so they were able to experience our wedding throughout these videos. We feel that he captured every single moment of the wedding and did not miss a thing! Do not hesitate about hiring Alex, we could not recommend him more!!

BEST DECISION EVER! I was on the fence about getting a videographer until my cousin told me the video and photos are the only thing you can take with you from the day. The entire day was a bit of a blur and my pictures are great but the videos really just captured so much of what I missed or forgot. Alex is an incredible videographer and such a warm and friendly person. I can’t believe we were so fortunate that Alex was available for our new wedding date this past July 2021, which was rescheduled from summer 2020 due to COVID. We already booked and partially paid a videographer in January 2020, who all of a sudden stopped being responsive around 2 months before our wedding month. We already had so many additional obstacles and stressors due to venue regulations and guest count, etc, so an unresponsive videographer so close to the wedding rose our stress levels even more. Being so close to the wedding date, I was hopeful we would find a great videographer, but also tried to come to terms that I might have to settle, since all the good videographers were probably fully booked. As soon as I read the reviews as well as saw examples of Alex’s work, I was instantly impressed by him. I loved his editing and the style of his videography. It was also very assuring to know that Alex has so many years of experience under his belt. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. I reached out to get a quote and by a miracle Alex was available on our wedding date! From the initial correspondence with Alex, I knew right away that he is professional, personable, and that he is a genuine person who really cares about his clients. He was extremely responsive and accommodating to our requests and offered to put together the same package our previously hired vendor agreed to do. During our wedding day, he really made us feel confident that he was capturing every special moment. When we received the short teaser and highlight film, we were blown away and loved how they turned out. Alex is beyond talented, professional, accommodating, and genuine. Alex is very knowledgeable in the field and was more than willing to accommodate our wish list (ceremony, commentary, 1 min sneak peak, drone footage, etc.). His calm, cool and collected personality was an ideal 'plus' for a stressed out bride ;) He followed up frequently before the big day, showed up on time, guided us with confidence, and provided an amazing product that we will cherish forever. Everything was sent out in a timely manner and Alex even followed up as he was preparing to send us the files. 10/10 recommend.

I can not say enough good things about Alex and Love Genre Films. My now husband is very standoffish when it comes to being recorded and fought me the entire time about getting a videographer. We finally had settled on someone but COVID made them close shop with 3 months to our date. So I panicked and started the search all over and found Love Genre Films. My husband liked his style and the use of drones to capture footage of the site. After having a phone call meeting with Alex we decided to jump in and have him capture our micro-wedding that would take place outdoors and then move indoors for the reception. Well with our luck it rained the entire day before and the ceremony site was a muddy mess. We had to move everything indoors the night before. I had sent Alex a message letting him know the change of plans and he was calm and was ok with thew working with the changes. He showed up on the wedding day ready to make the best out of a COVID wedding and even respected my husband’s wishes of not having him in the room while I got into the dress (he willing stepped out of the room for that part). As the day went on even though there were things we wanted to capture (sunset shots, etc.) Alex could tell that we were just done and did not push the subject of trying to get more footage which went over so well with my husband. When we got the link for the social media video I was nervous about how it was going to turn out- well I was crying by the end of the video due to it could not have been more perfect. Not only did Alex capture the day but he stayed to capture our venue at sunset and lit up at night without us even knowing. He had gone beyond what we expected and I couldn’t be happier. I got messages from family that even they cried watching the video and they were not even there for the day. If you have any doubts just view his work- that only speaks volumes but then talk to him. My husband and I are in LOVE with our wedding video that Alex videographed! We have also received so many compliments from friends and family on how our wedding videos turned out! Everyone also keeps saying that our montage is very unique and could be a real movie! My husband and I were very pleased with Alex’s professionalism throughout the whole process. He was actually the second videographer that we contacted. Our initial videographer took very long to get back to me (multiple days to a week) within the month of our wedding date (during COVID), made many excuses, and no apologies- so my husband (then fiancé) and I decided to look for a reliable and responsible videographer and we found one in Alex! Not only was he able to make room for us as a couple who had to change plans due to COVID, but he was up for the challenge of an adventure wedding, which included a hike! Our wedding day and during the video production process as well, was full of professionalism. He is very creative and my husband and I are extremely happy that we found Alex and he was able to create such beautiful and memorable videos for us! Highly recommend!!!

What I write here cannot possibly do enough justice to describe the amazing experience that my wife and I had working with Alex. From the very beginning he has been absolutely professional and accommodating of all of our requests. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID concerns, he was happy to work with us on the new date. On the day of, he showed up wearing a mask to protect us and all of the guests, even though the weather was around triple digits. This was greatly appreciated as we had a few high-risk individuals attending our small wedding. Throughout the day, he was terrific in directing us to capture many magical moments and he coordinated with our photographer (Chris Howard). After the wedding, Alex was very communicative and quickly shared with us various videos (i.e. a teaser trailer and the wedding ceremony) to keep us updated of his progress. The final film that he created is seriously a work of art that blends amazing cinematography from multiple angles (including some from his drone) and a perfect soundtrack. Within the first week of receiving the video, my wife and I had watched the video well over 20 times . I can wholeheartedly recommend Alex's services to any future couples.
