Love in Life Photography

We do not have enough wonderful things to say about Melissa. Not only did we love her, but our parents and guests loved her as well. She was amazing to work with, and got every single picture we wanted. I don't think our parents have ever spoken so highly of a photographer before. She made meetings super easy for us being that we were a distance from her studio. Nothing was ever too much for Melissa. If you are contemplating getting a second photographer, DO IT! Melissa chose someone so awesome for us to work with, we are just so happy we chose her. So grateful that The Knot connected us with such a caring photographer. I know for any shoots we want to do in the future, Melissa is the first person we will call, no matter the distance! Thank you Melissa!

Melissa was awesome to work with! Our wedding pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined. We have only seen a few sneak peeks of our pictures because our wedding was this past Saturday, but I know the rest of the pictures are going to be amazing! I highly recommend Melissa if you need a photographer for your wedding, you won't regret it!

We loved having Melissa as our wedding photographer - she did an amazing job!!! As with any photographer, there were the posed, formal pictures we took but when we saw the pictures after the wedding we were in total awe of how many pictures she took that we were never even aware she was taking. She was such a joy to have as part of the day - easy to get along with and so willing to be sure we received all we hoped as a remembrance of our special day!!!!! Melissa is a phenomenal photographer! She did both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding shoot. Her work captured exactly all the reasons why I married my best friend. She even let us include our fur babies. Melissa is reasonably priced and is willing to go the extra mile just to see her clients haapy. We loved her and will be hiring her again for future photo shoots!

Melissa was wonderful to work with for our engagement session and wedding. She made my husband and I feel so relaxed and let us be ourselves while taking photos, and she was extra patient and laughed with us while we having fun with our wedding party. We absolutely loved working with Melissa for both our engagement photos and our wedding. She was so easy to work with and our pictures are absolutely AMAZING. Melissa was an absolute joy to work with. She is very accommodating and really tries to make your day about what you want. I have a big overbearing family and when it was time for pictures they swarmed her, but she did an excellent job facilitating poses and did not get frustrated. Our pictures came out gorgeous and if I did my wedding day all over again, I would choose Love in Life Photography again.

Melissa was amazing! It felt like she was everywhere the action was... she was accommodating with our schedule and location and we could feel her excitement and investment in our wedding day. The photos are phenomenal, so many amazing shots. We could not have asked for more from her, I recommend her to all my friends getting engaged because I truly love her work. We will be using her for family shoots and newborn photography in the future for sure!!

Melissa was amazing from the first time we met until the last minute of our wedding! She made both my husband and I (who are awkward when it goes to being the center of attention ) feel so comfortable! Melissa was professional and you can not beat the price! I cannot begin to explain how amazing Melissa (and John-- her second shooter) was! They were not only SOOO easy to work with, but the pictures they took are absolutely breathtaking! I've been showing the off to everyone! I only had a couple "must-have" shots and Melissa got them all for me! I would recommend them to everyone! I can not say enough about Melissa!! She was absolutely amazing and did a fantastic job at our wedding!! She was with us from the minute we started getting ready to the end of our last song!! I absolutely LOVED Melissa! She was amazing and easy to get along with! We used Melissa for both our engagement and wedding pictures. She knows how to capture the best pictures and really enjoys her job! We had a great time with Melissa and felt comfortable at all times. She is only one person, but she somehow captures every angle possible on your special day! It is incredible how she captures everything you could possibly dream of! Melissa did an amazing job on our wedding photos!! We also did our engagement photos with her. Although we were pretty nervous at first she was super great about everything, trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible. She was also really responsive!! Very professional, but definitely made my husband and I comfortable enough to be ourselves and really come through in our pictures. The pictures from our engagement and wedding came out so beautifully, I couldn't be happier. Sometimes after an event you say "I wish I had pictures with this person" or "I don't even remember what my cake looked like".... but Melissa didn't miss a thing! We have already used her for my maternity shoot and will continue to support her in the future. When you find someone who does good quality work, you stick with them! Thank you Melissa!!

My husband and I love our wedding photos from Melissa (Love in Life Photography)! When we started searching for a wedding photographer, we wanted to find not only someone who offered great value, but who took pictures where people looked like themselves (versus uncomfortable and over the top staged). From her website, we thought Melissa might be a good fit for us and after meeting her, we knew for sure. She is easy going while still being professional and capitalizing on great shots (we got lucky that our wedding ended right before sundown and she got some lovely shots of us outside). Of course at our wedding we did family portrait pictures as well as some posed ones; however, we also have lots of great shots where people look wonderful just being themselves--thanks to Melissa capturing those moments in a way that allowed people to feel comfortable. After our wedding, Melissa sent us a small preview of some of the shots pretty quickly, which was nice because then we had some shots to share while we waited for the rest. My husband and I feel like we really found a gem when we came across Love in Life photography on Wedding Wire and we absolutely recommend her (we also did a pre-wedding engagement shoot with Melissa that was totally worth it)!!

My husband and I are not really the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Melissa really made us both feel at ease during the whole process and delivered the most BEAUTIFUL wedding and engagement pictures I've ever seen. She captured all the sentiment of our ceremony, the sweet moments in between, and the high energy fun of our reception so perfectly, and though I can be highly critical of pictures of myself, I absolutely loved the finished product she produced. She's a wonderful person, too, and is always accessible for e-mails, texts and even in person meetings to support you through the process. I HIGHLY recommend you hire her for any of your professional photography needs.

Melissa could not have made the whole process any easier. From the engagement pictures, to the large family portraits, intimate shots and candids she made the whole day great. From the begining she was extremely responsive to email and so thoughtful in the questions she asked us. After the our formal shots her and John did an excellent job fading into the background and catching all the action. She was so patient with me through the day when my thoughts were all over the place and flexible in changing the pictures I was looking for and the locations. We will definitely use her again for any event we need a photographer for and I recommend her highly. Amazing job!

Melissa was absolutely amazing and I would recommend her photography services to anyone! Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos came out beautiful and it was all done for a very reasonable price. I have many friends who paid much more than we did and they do not have the quality of photos we do. Melissa was so sweet and easy to work with. Even with the pressure we were feeling to rush our photos so we could get to the reception, she remained calm and took so many gorgeous pictures! I plan on using her again for more family photos.

Melissa was just fabulous. She was professional and very very reasonably priced. My only thing is, she is not pushy (which is good and bad) I would have liked her to tell us more what to do or I wish I would have had some more ideas for her. But then again my husband was pushing me to stop taking pictures and to start partying, so it could have totally been us. Be we loved her and her work!

Melissa did an AMAZING job with our wedding pictures! She was able to capture moments during my wedding ceremony and reception that I simply LOVE! she was very easy to work with and was very understandable and patient with me, especially the day of my wedding.
