Our venue required a day-of coordinator and we luckily found Candace. To provide context, I'm a Type A bride with a 20-tab spreadsheet tracking every detail. I’ve worked in project...
management and operate my life this way. I didn't need much help except thinking through logistics for an event of this scale: wrangling vendors, managing the timeline, and handling setup/takedown. Candace was able to do just that.
Pros
a) Candace provides seating chart, RSVP tracking, and other templates to help manage information (I didn't need these as I already had them organized).
b) She provides timely email responses.
c) You get one general meeting to discuss vision and expectations, a venue walkthrough a few months prior, then a final meeting for decor, setup/takedown, and timeline. Come prepared with questions and documentation.
d) The day itself seemed to go smoothly. There was a snafu with dinner as our DJ/MC introduced speeches consecutively (including our thank you that was supposed to segue into dancing). It’s unclear if this was miscommunication or covering a venue issue. But despite arriving late and finishing the ceremony early, the day went as planned.
e) Decor takedown was done before the event ended (while dancing continued) so our parents didn't have to stay late.
Cons
a) Tammy was the assistant for rehearsal and day-of. She seemed less experienced than Candace and had a condescending demeanor. Examples:
* 1) During rehearsal, I was stressed by my mom and struggling with AirPods to practice my processional song secretly. Tammy told my in-laws, friends, and husband something like "this is too much for the bride to handle, she needs a moment”, making me sound like I was crashing out. I wasn't crying, screaming, or acting out. After checking on me due to that statement, my husband went back to tell the group, "she's just struggling with the AirPods."
* 2) When I realized we forgot things at our Airbnb (3 minutes away), I gasped and did a little squat to the floor. She immediately said "you need to calm down. You seem very stressed. Everything will be fine, and remember to smile." I was actually extremely calm (no butterflies, panic, nothing). I responded "I am. My friend will grab it quickly." She kept reiterating this for most of the pre-ceremony time (my husband noted this too), making us wonder if it was more for her benefit.
* 3) I made a Canva file clearly laying out decor for the Arch, Aisle, Sweetheart Table, Cocktail Hour, and Guest Tables, with detailed notes. My husband and friends had to decorate our arch (another con: I wish we'd been told months in advance during the venue tour that Candace's team couldn't do it for liability reasons, not 3-4 weeks before). We understood Tammy and Candace would set up the rest since it didn't require a ladder. I'd labeled every box and asked if they wanted to review the decor during rehearsal, but they said they had the designs printed and were all good. Apparently not as Tammy was confused by the aisle markers when my husband was supposed to help with arch set up. She didn't understand them, so he had to take time away from arch setup to show her the boxes and explain them. She still seemed confused about whether they tie to chairs or go on the ground, which is weird for someone who's supposedly worked weddings before as well as seen the design files.
* 4) During my mother's speech, she stood in the wrong spot for the photographer manning our DSLR video camera. The photographer was gently trying to redirect her when Tammy aggressively moved her. My mom laughed it off, but we discussed it the next day as from a spectator perspective, it was overly aggressive.
Overall, we didn't appreciate Tammy as she felt more discombobulated and stressed than us, speaking to us and guests in a dismissive/condescending tone.
b) At times, we got better direction from our photographer than Tammy and Candace. Our photographer seemed to be wrangling Tammy in addition to us. We barely saw Candace but she did check on us a few times. Our parents felt the same. We assume Candace was managing behind-the-scenes work with F&B and venue teams, but unclear.
c) We felt we were waiting around when we should have been taking photos or mingling with guests. We'd built in buffer for alone time and guest time but didn't get the latter until dancing. We didn't attend cocktail hour at all when we had arranged for 20 minutes for us to mingle with guests after our grand entrance/first game/group photos. We just went straight into dinner. There were moments we just stood around waiting with little communication about why, missing opportunities to experience our wedding with guests, probably our biggest regret despite the overall lovely day.
Overall, we were satisfied with Candace's work leading up to and on the wedding day but wish she had brought a different assistant.
If I could give this team a hundred stars, I would!
Candace and Doris were my dream team for my wedding as my florist and wedding coordinator. I knew them as a recommendation from...
a friend who also hired them for their wedding.
For Candace, she is great! She let us come to her studio a month or two before the wedding so she can discuss with me what kind of vision I want for the wedding. I mean I don't know much about flowers but she gave me recommendations and showed me what they look like. She even sent me home with a sample table centerpiece and leftover flowers. My wedding aesthetics came to life with her.
Doris, my month-of wedding coordinator, is simply the best. There were so many things that went wrong a week before with the wedding ceremony venue (we did it in a church so there were so many restrictions). She helped us all through out, never losing her patience and always remained kind with her words. Like I kept telling her, she was the one keeping me sane for that last month until after the wedding was over. Even during the wedding, I knew she had a million things to do coordinating everything, she still always found the time to check in with me and see if I need anything.
I highly recommend this team! They were very professional, easy to communicate with, and always went above and beyond for us.
There are not enough words for me to express how much I appreciate Doris!! I would like to thank Doris for helping me plan our wedding! We decided to host it at home, so there were...
so many factors to considered. From day one, she has been attentive and detailed. Although I was the one procrastinating, she was very patient and kept me on schedule. She stepped in when I could not balance planning, work, and school, and took the lead on things I sat on. We had a full day and through each phrase, she ensured the vendors arrived/set up on time, the "to-do" list was taken care of, and kept the program moving along. Any issues that arise, she took care of it and did not have to come to us for a solution. If you are unsure where to start, get easily overwhelmed, or have a bad habit of procrastinating, Doris can help you get through it to make it happen. Thank you again, Doris!
Candace and her team was a dream to work with!!! You know you've hired the right team when guests compliment on how well everything went! We had so much fun!!! My new hubby said "I...
t was so fun! Let's do it again! (right after the event!)" Candace and her team were quick to respond, arrived early, able to transport all of our decor and centerpieces for us, flexible with changes, gave me a welcome gift, made sure we had drinks and food ready during reception/cocktail hours and best of all made our wedding enjoyable!!! I've personally been to a lot of weddings and ours was the best not simply because it was our wedding but because everything was so well organized!!! Thank you Candace and the love is sweet team!!!

ge, checking in with e-mails and phone calls from the day we hired her six months before the wedding. I had a very specific vision for our Old Hollywood wedding, and wanted to be as hands-on as possible, but living in Chicago and working a full-time job made a coordinator a necessity. Candace was so sweet and a very calming presence, working with me to draft up a detailed wedding day timeline and taking the lead with all my vendors, especially our venue, to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was quick to answer questions despite her busy schedule, and was on-point with details, such as ordering food for the wedding parties on the day of, and neatly packing and organizing our “props” to take home at the end of the night. Candace and her team will make your wedding day a joyful one!
I hired Love Is Sweet Events for their month-of coordination. From the first meeting after we signed up for this program, Candace already worked with me to draft up a wedding day t...
imeline and gave me so many suggestions with regards to vendors, how to decorate my venue, how to discuss my needs with vendors, what to look out for when signing contracts, etc. She liaised with all my vendors to confirm their arrival time to the venue, made sure all insurances were in place, and all final payments were made. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant kept close communication with me, my husband, and my bridal party to ensure everyone was where they were supposed to be at the correct times. My husband and I did not have to sweat at all about where our things were and if we should clear up anything in the venue before leaving to our rooms in the hotel. By the time we made it to our hotel room, we found everything neatly packed in boxes and ready for us to take home. The whole day moved by quickly yet flawlessly. I'm going through a conflict with my venue over-charging us for the bar tab. I had messaged Candace for confirmation on the details and she was very quick to respond with backup details to support me. I would recommend Love Is Sweet Events to all my friends! <3

traordinary attention to detail and the grace in which she executes her events. Not to mention, she does it all with a smile on her face and a good head on her shoulders. I never need to worry about an event when I see she's on it. Love really IS sweet when they're in charge!
I met Candace in a bridal show and instantly clicked with her!! She is down to earth, sweet and very approachable. I actually met with a couple of other wedding coordinators/planne...
rs but nobody compared to Candace. I was interested to hire a full day wedding coordinator and I wanted someone that can execute what I planned thoroughly. Candace and her team delivered and exceeded my high expectations. She paid attention to detail and responded in a timely manner. Candace made sure I didn't miss anything. She even ordered brunch for my wedding party and let me borrow some of her decorations without charge. She listened to all my instructions and requests, and executed my vision so beautifully! In addition, Michelle, who was assigned to be my bridal assistant did an amazing job. She stayed with me and my bridesmaids the entire time, and made sure that our timeline was being followed, but in a calm and friendly manner. Our wedding day was perfect, everything we have dreamed of if not more. We enjoyed every minute of it, and had so much fun because we did not have to stress about anything on our wedding day!! Thanks to Love Is Sweet Events for coordinating our best day ever!! We definitely recommend them!

se to pick up decorations and sitting with me to go over the schedule a week prior when I had only hired them to coordinate for the day of. They also provided additional decor free of charge for the day of. I really appreciated them going above and beyond with small gestures like that :)
On rehearsal day and the wedding day, Katherine, Candace, and Michelle were all there and I could tell they were working hard and cared for things to be perfect more than I did lol. Thanks for grabbing me all those drinks during the 2hr photo session w/ my guests!
Biggest mistake I've made. I would NEVER recommend anyone to use Candace or her team unless you want to be screwed 4 months before your wedding with no venue, or anything and havin...
g to start from the beginning. I wish I listened to the negative reviews versus the fake positive ones. All she cares about is money and not the customer. This is suppose to be a joyful and fun experience planning a wedding and instead it is a complete nightmare. Not only was there a lack communication, I was unable to even work with her team who are not qualified and can't handle stress. I lost my venue due to me actual visiting the venue and it not suiting my wants and instead of her and her "team" working to help the situation, i had to chase, txt and call with no answers from anyone. Losing a venue is a big deal but clearly they didn't care. This has been nothing but a huge scam. They had no interest in my needs and only care about charging you. Now I'm 4 months away from my wedding and having to hire another wedding planner to start all over again and praying that it works out. This team will disappear on you, act like children and do not have an sense of urgency. I wasted my time flying to LA to have nothing accomplished. I can't understand how she is still in business. Her treatment is completely disgusting and not professional. It's all about her and her team versus you and your wedding day especially when I'm paying over $8000 CAN for her services.
Stay away it will be the best decision you make. Unless you want to lose money, do all the work, chase them me, have them back out for stupid reasons and your left standing there with nothing.

e been doing most of the wedding planning myself as I like to be in control and arrange things on my own. But I know I will be crazy busy on the day of and I need someone to help me to execute the things I planned.
Kathrine was very organized and I had really good first impression of her during our consultation. I decided to hire her on the same day. She's easily accessible and responded to email, text, calls quickly. I had to make some last minute timeline changes and special requests and she was able to accommodate and made the changes quickly.
I had a rehearsal the day before my wedding day, Katherine and two assistant coordinators (Angela and Jennifer) all came and did the rehearsal in a few runs. It really helped us and wedding party to know the rundown on the day of.
On the big day, they arrived way before the vendors to start preparing for the setup. Jennifer also came by makeup studio I was at to check up on me. She was assisting me the whole time during wedding photo time.
By the time we done with photo and walked back the venue, I almost teared up when I saw the setup. Things were setup the way I envisioned if not better. No words can describe how happy and excited I was.
Everything went smoothly through out the night and I can't thank Katherine, Angela and Jennifer enough. After all the guests left and we are about to go home, all the items we need to take home have already been neatly packed and put in our car.
I highly recommend Love is Sweet Event if you want your special occasion to run smoothly and hassle free.

plan everything ourselves. But then we discovered how much work gets into it and we both have full time jobs, so it wasn’t easy for us to manage. That’s when we decided to hire a wedding planner and I’m so glad we did! Candace the wedding planner and her assistant coordinators Jennifer, Katherine and Angela did an excellent job. We couldn’t have wished for a better wedding. Although we didn’t plan it ourselves, the decorations, music and tiny details were picked by us which made it personal as we wanted.
Thanks again for the great experience we had!

ing because I trusted that Candace and her team would have everything sorted out, and they did! She and her team went above and beyond, and made the wedding day seamless from start to finish.
• She is extremely responsive and approachable: From the get-go, months before we got married, Candace made herself available to us via phone, text, email and always responded within 24 hours, usually within just a couple hours.
• She listens: She really listened to what our vision was and helped us make it happen. If I asked her for her opinion, she always had one, but at the end of the day, she listened to our needs and made them a reality.
• She has experience and put me at ease in times of stress: Candace really knows her stuff. Anytime I had a question, she had the answer. Anytime I called her a tad stressed, she’d always say: “We’ll take care of you, don’t worry”. Her inner confidence and calm nature put me at ease every time.
• Candace is so organized and well prepared: For example, to prep for the wedding day, she provided each vendor with instructions and a shortened timeline customized for them. She reviewed all contracts and always caught something I missed…and the list goes on.
• She knows how to manage a huge wedding party: 10 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen. Candace printed out a shortened timeline for the bridesmaids and groomsmen too, as well as tips for them to keep in mind on the wedding day. All the bridesmaids and groomsmen were so impressed!
• She goes above and beyond: Candace went above and beyond in every way. There are so many examples of this, but one example is that on the day of my final walk through with my venue, Candace drove 1.5 hours away with her assistant Katherine just to help me. This was certainly not a requirement in the contract, and I really appreciated it.
• She has a lot of integrity: Candace is an extremely honest person, and I felt that I could trust her 100%. This was so important for me. On the wedding day, I was comfortable leaving her with about 20 envelopes filled with cash tips for our vendors.
• She is extremely professional: Candace and her assistants Kathryn and Angela are true professionals. The way they presented themselves with our vendors and our guests was immaculate. Even our guests were noticing and commenting on how awesome our planning team was!
• She is so friendly! Candace is such a genuinely kind and friendly person. It’s so easy to get along with her. I felt so quickly as though we were friends.
I could not imagine having planned a wedding with them. THANK YOU Candace, Angela and Kathryn!!
Jennifer was a recommendation from my brother's ex-girlfriend. Anyway, I can't say enough about her. It was really as if she read my mind. She was really easy to get along with and...
she really got my vision. She didn't try to push her own ideas or stretch my budget like some horror stories I have heard. She was genuinely interested in making my dream come true. She did a fantastic job. My wedding went off without a hitch. It was the best day of my life!

oordinators, they began working far in advance. They helped us organize all of the information necessary for our wedding day, offered to run errands for the wedding, and worked with the reception venue wedding coordinator to gather vendor insurance information. On the day of the wedding, they made it so stress free for my husband and me. We didn't have to worry about anything because they were overseeing everything. I couldn't be happier with Love is Sweet Events and our fantastic coordinators Angela and Katherine!

ing that they can provide me more information regarding full planning. Candace was the first one who called back and we scheduled the consultation on the same morning even though she was quite busy on that day.
She was really patient and tried to explain everything to us, keep us within the budget and helped us to find the vendors already once I told her that we liked to proceed. With a short period of time, her team was so supportive especially her assistant Jennifer helped my husband and I out with a lot of things, we scheduled appointment almost every other day. Candace and her team helped us to picked out my perfect dress, our perfect venue and she even attended the menu tasting.
I was really pleased with everything and especially on the wedding day of. I can't say enough thanks to her staffs Jennifer, Angela and her bridal assistant. Even my photographers were surprised the fact that the bridal assistant followed us the entire whole day and ensure the wedding party drank water, feed us food and giving us vitamin to keep the energy going.
The wedding decor was absolutely beautiful, we had beautiful flowers with light purple uplights. The atmosphere was wonderful and romantic, my husband and I had so much fun on the wedding day. the best thing was no need to worry anything at all because this team came to remind us and check on us every 10 mins. I was so happy and I would totally refer all of my friends or any newlywed engaged couples.
I was quite concern about spending money on wedding planning, but you pay what you get! I think I spent the most worth it money in my wedding by hiring Love is sweet events!
Retaining Candace and her team to coordinate our wedding was the best investment we made throughout our planning process. My husband and I work extremely long hours and had six mo...
nths to plan a wedding for nearly 300 guests. We knew early on in the process that we needed help.
After researching several wedding planners, Candace had the best price point for a full service wedding planning package. We reviewed her website and the photos of her wedding style, and scheduled a meeting with her. At our meeting I explained some of the unique challenges for planning our particular wedding. At our meeting, Candace was attentive, caring, and excited to share her ideas about how we can work together towards coordinating a great day. We hired her immediately after our meeting.
Candace’s full service wedding package includes coordinating the bridal shower. Candace handled all invitations and RSVPs for our guests. Her team worked with my bridesmaids to come up with games and decorations that blew me away. My bridal shower was held out our home. Candace coordinated all vendor rentals and made the space look like a fairytale. She bought the flowers, decorated the tables with beautiful classic centerpieces and created a table setting for every single guest. My family and friends are still talking about that day.
I quickly learned that being organized and detail oriented is key to this process. Candace embodied these values. Her excel sheets and diagrams were life savers. She executed our vision for wedding décor brilliantly while being sensitive and conscientious about our budget.
Candace also added her own special, thoughtful “touch” to every meeting. When we met with Candace, sometimes after a long workday, she greeted us with yummy snacks or cool tea. She treated each and every one of the members of our wedding party with care, and made them feel so very special. On the day of our rehearsal, she provided everyone with a detailed timeline for the day of our wedding and was able to gently and seamlessly gather and organize a very rowdy group of people. Candace never made anyone feel rushed or hurried, and struck a good balance between getting things done and allowing our guests to visit with each other.
During the week leading up to the wedding, Candace and her team handled the last minute wedding details brilliantly. As in every wedding, there are things that sometimes go wrong. Candace was honest about any bumps in the road but also offered creative and thoughtful solutions to any problems we encountered. She and her team were the first to wake up in the mornings and the last to go to bed in the week leading up to the wedding.
We got married on one of the hottest days of the year. This did not stop Candace and her team from running around to make sure that our wedding vision was executed. And it was executed beautifully. Candace and her team made sure that I was fed and hydrated throughout the entire day. Angela, her assistant, delivered lunch for our family and friends at the hotel. Angela also followed me throughout the day with a cup of water while we took pictures so that I wouldn’t get dehydrated. All these little special touches made us feel like Candace and her team were truly invested in giving us the best day of our lives.
Thank you Candace, Angela, and the rest of the Love is Sweet Events staff. You truly made our wedding day one that we will never forget.
My and wife and I truly enjoyed working with Candace and the team. We had a small wedding, and I didn't originally think we needed a planner. But my fiancé was overwhelmed despite ...
her own excellent organizational skills. Clearly there was a lot more to wedding planning than either of us ever thought! After a little research and interviews, we ended up choosing Love is Sweet Events and we don't regret that choice at all. They were attentive to our needs, creative, and our wedding was beautiful. Most importantly my wife was happy and that's what I care most about.

ad a great time and received a lot of compliments from our guests on how punctual and smooth the wedding went. Candace was very detailed and organized from the beginning and was helpful throughout the entire process. She's super nice and very is easy to work with and has a lot of great ideas and suggestions for your wedding, especially if you are into DIY stuff. We definitely recommend Love is Sweet Events for wedding planning or coordination.
Hiring Candace/Love is Sweet Events was absolutely the best money my husband and I spent for our wedding. From the first time my then-fiance and I contacted Candace, she's impresse...
d me again and again with how organized, patient, and friendly she is. The first time we met, she showed us examples of the detailed timelines, venue layouts, and vendor contact lists we would get if we hired her as our wedding coordinator. It was clear she knew what she was doing, and we wouldn't have to worry about things falling through the cracks if we hired her. It was also clear from our first meeting that she loves what she does and loves working with couples, and that was the kind of person we wanted working on our wedding. We decided that day that we wanted to hire her.
Throughout the wedding planning process, Candace and her assistant Jennifer, were readily available to answer any and all questions, and offer advice or vendor recommendations, as needed. Our wedding venue was at a summer camp, which was a beautiful outdoor/indoor space, but was essentially a blank slate, and required that we rent and bring everything in, from tables and chair, to cups and silverware, as well as additional lighting and other decorations. Candace skillfully handled all the vendors, and with the help of her assistant Jennifer, sent vendor specific timelines to each of our vendors, so they would all be well-prepared for our wedding day and knew exactly when they were expected to arrive. She also was endlessly patient with our contact at our venue, who was a rather difficult person to deal with.
Our venue also required someone with an eye for how to pull all the elements of the venue together in a cohesive manner. Candace handled the logistics of all the vendors beautifully, but just as important, she was able to turn our vision for the venue into a beautiful reality, rather than explosion of disparate Pinterest pins, which I'm pretty sure is how it would have turned out if my husband and I had done the decorating ourselves, without input from Candace.
On the wedding rehearsal day, Candace and Jennifer were at the venue with us for 5 hours, helping to set up tables, tablecloths, setting up the silverware and plates, as well as helping with decorations and then running the actual rehearsal.
On the day of the wedding, Candace sent another assistant, Nancy, to the hotel to help my husband and myself with anything we needed, while she and Jennifer were at the venue getting the last minute things set up. Nancy was invaluable, as she helped track down the groomsmen, kept us on schedule with the photographers and picture taking, and helped transport our personal items from the hotel to the venue.
Having Candace and her team taking care of all the logistics allowed my husband and I to focus on the wedding day, and fully enjoy every moment of it, rather than worrying about setup at the venue, vendor deliveries, and dealing with questions from servers/bartenders/etc. If anything went wrong during the day, my husband and I knew nothing about it, which is exactly the way I wanted things to be.
In short, if you're at all considering hiring a wedding coordinator, you can't do any better than Candace and Love Is Sweet Events!
Candace and her staff at Love is Sweet Events were THE best investment we made in planning our wedding! We hired her to coordinate our July 2014 wedding in Agoura Hills, and she re...
ally went above and beyond to make our day amazing. We are a very DIY-couple, and made many of our decorations and plans ourselves, but needed help to make everything come together and flow smoothly on the big day. Candace helped us find some of our vendors (Jessica Elizabeth photographers and Deefined Floral Designs were AMAZING finds!), kept us informed of what we should be doing and when, and was absolutely lovely to work with! Candace made sure everyone was where they needed to be on the big day, and that all of our decorations were set up the way we wanted them. She and her assistants even took the time to move the chairs for the ceremony into the arrangement I wanted when the venue told us that they couldn't do it unless we paid an extra $150. She and her staff were professional, reliable, and absolutely made a difference in making the day into the perfect experience we had been hoping for. If you aren't sure whether you want a wedding coordinator/wedding planner or are trying to choose among several, let me tell you, you will most definitely be happy if you choose Love is Sweet for your big day!
I wanted a big, extravagant wedding and my (now) husband and I had the means, but the issue is, we didn't have the time. You have to be a very creative person to organize your own ...
wedding correctly. Unfortunately, neither of us are organized and we live such hectic lives it is almost impossible to keep everything in order. We got an amazing package deal from this company, and allowed them to do literally everything. I was a bit of a bridezilla at times, but they handled me very well. Can't believe the level of patience that was given to me. I don't know how they do it, because I never would be able to. My wedding was beautiful, everything I dreamed of. None of it would of been possible if it wasn't for this event planner.
I really could not say enough good things about this company. They take care of virtually everything, from start to finish. They really care about their clients, and want to ensure...
the best day possible. When you give them your price point, they make sure they work their hardest to stay within means. They helped us with everything - from venue to caterers to DJ to flower arrangements. They are so creative, they came up with so many ideas that we would of never thought of ourselves. Great people, thank you for making the day so wonderful.
I hired Love is Sweets to work my daughters wedding. Anyone has ever planned a big wedding knows how much work it takes. Instead of stressing out over your big day, you should be a...
ble to enjoy it. That's the gift that I wanted to give to my daughter. This event planning service was one of the best around. They kept in constant contact with us around the clock, getting our final approval about everything. They were very patient, kind, and thoughtful. My daughter got so many compliments on her wedding day about how beautifully done everything was. Really superb service, would not hesitate to recommend them.
We live in the city, and my daughter wanted a beach wedding. We had no idea where to even begin with that, since were not too familiar with the beach towns. Love is Sweet Events to...
ok care of it all. They have an abundant amount of resources and really know their stuff. They got my daughter her dream venue in a beautiful beach/Victorian town. They even helped her pick out her dress. Nicest bunch of people I have ever met in my life, and they definitely don't overcharge. Highly recommend.
Love is Sweet Events really helped save my wedding! I really was sure I would be able to handle all the preparations on my own. However, it got extremely daunting and I didn't know...
what to do. Trying to work full time and planning a wedding is somewhat impossible. I found Love is Sweet, called them and explained my circumstances, and they were more than happy to step in. What I liked most about them is, they stuck to my vision. The stuff I had already done, they left alone. Their packages are also extremely affordable; something that any bride can be appreciated of. My wedding went off without a hitch, and I am beyond grateful to them for that. Thank you!
Love is Sweet literally saved my wedding. I had no help at all in the planning process, as I live away from my family. I was almost going to opt to elope instead of even planning a...
wedding, but then I stumbled upon Love is Sweet.
Every step of the way, from start to finish, their team was there for me. They helped me with minor things such as flower arrangements, to bigger details such as finding a vendor and picking out food and dresses.
You could tell that they truly care about their brides. They are extremely eager to help, and listen to what you have to say.
I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.

e, quality work from a true professional, you get treated like ROYALTY, devotion, and the final product is amazing. If I had to do it all over again, Love is Sweet Events would be my very first hire.
Deep down I wanted to elope. I couldn't fathom having to pinpoint a perfect day for the wedding, all the while trying to MAKE the day perfect. Overwhelming and too much for me to h...
andle. My mom actually talked me into hiring Love Is Sweet Events because she knew Candace did a great job with a co workers daughters wedding. Took her word for it. Figured the price was well worth not having to stress out and have additional worries. Whole process was stress free, my nerves were still a wreck but hey, it's MARRIAGE, not a date. Nerves are a given. Candace grabbed the horse by the reins and off we went. Much thanks to Love Is Sweet Events for taking the whole thing off my shoulders and being so professional. (and affordable!) Will be recommending to other future brides.
Since I was first engaged a year ago, until my wedding in August Candace has kept in touch with me the entire time. I know to some that may not be a big deal, but to me it showed ...
her desire for my wedding to be perfect. She really personalized my wedding. It wasn't your average plain wedding. She got to know parts of me, my likes and dislikes and turned it into such a memorable event in my life. I can't even begin to describe my appreciation towards my day of coordinator. She is the best!!
Highly advise not to plan your whole wedding yourself. Yes, have a lot of input. But hand it over to a professional that has witnessed the strings of successful (and probably som...
e non successful) wedding days. Candace knows the ins and outs. Like I said, Hire a professional. I say this because my sister wanted to "save money" planning and running the show herself. She was a nervous wreck and it showed. I knew that wouldn't be me when it was my day. Sure enough, Love Is Sweet Events was my first hire. They offer excellent alternatives to some of my higher priced ideas, which saved me money. Running everything seemed simple but I knew it wasn't. Thanks to Candace I relaxed the ENTIRE 6 months before my wedding and wasn't worried about any mess ups. My confidence in Candace only grew over time. Very impressive and a true blue hard worker.
Love is sweet events is affordable. Just can't beat all they offer for the price. Candace was easy to trust with the details and timing. Kept in touch the entire year before the ...

everything, so they don't constantly bug you or bother you to make choices every day. I tried working with someone else, and they just kept calling me every day which actually brought more stress to me. Candace at Love is Sweet-Events was patient and understanding. Always on time to meet me, would send emails when she needed, and took what I had planned and turned it into a majestic evening since I was married close to dusk. She was great and I couldn't have asked for more. Many thanks Candace*

d imagine. It was straight out of a fairy tale. Candace organized everything to dotting the i and crossing the t. IT was perfect. She matched everything to the colors I had chosen (red and white) with hints of light pink thrown in there. It was just amazing! I loved just being the bride. No worries or stressful situations. I would recommend Candace and Love Is Sweet Events to anyone looking for a truly amazing day of coordinator. She won't let you down!
Ever think, everything is easy when giving the job to someone else? That's what I was thinking when coming to planning my wedding. The only thing that isn't easy was... who do you...
trust to plan your big day? Well I sure can't plan your wedding, but I know who can. Candace at Love is Sweet Events is outstanding! She has fantastic skills with organizing and orchestrating even the most difficult events or situations. I get flustered pretty easy so it was nice to have Candace take charge. Shes a go getter! Definitely trustworthy and efficient. My wedding rehearsal coordination was flawless. She also emailed me often to go over things. I felt connected to planning the day without all of the stress to coordinate it on my own. I appreciate it!!
Reading the reviews online about Candace and Love is Sweet Events, I knew I wanted to give her a try. We did a little test run to see if she could handle my whole mess of a day! ...
A few questions into my little interview process, and she was already passing with flying colors. Once I knew I could afford her, her ideas and collaboration of items I gave her to work with, I hired her immediately. The reviews I have seen are so true! She is informative and I really can relate to her (or she to me!) The pleasure was all mine when working with Candace. She sure brings her A game to work every time. My wedding day was coordinated without any issues. I just can't believe how great she managed everything. Two thumbs, way up!
