Amanda and her team were 100% the right choice for my wedding hair and makeup. I'm not one to wear a lot of makeup but I felt comfortable communicating my vision to Amanda. She executed the trial and day of perfectly. I have seriously never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. I felt like the absolute best version of myself and I could not have asked for a better experience. Love, Johnny & June are definitely the way to go for CNY bridal HMU!
For a bride trying to handle all elements for her wedding day on her own is daunting. For one trying to do everything from another state feels impossible and takes a lot of trust. That trust couldn’t have been more warranted in this team. They gave me dates for my trial that worked within other appointments while I was visiting. They were the right balance of communication of being informative and asking questions to me for my vision. They have continued to impress me even after my wedding day (6/29/24). Myself and fellow bridesmaids have still talked about how obsessed we were with our makeup and hair to the point where we reached back out to their team for details regarding brands used so we could try to recreate our looks. Endless thanks for making me feel like my most beautiful self on the most important day of my life.

From day one, Amanda provided clear and helpful communication about her team and the booking process. As a bride that lives out of state I was so nervous that the hair and makeup planning process would be a nightmare, but Love, Johnny & June made it easy and helped me schedule a trial on a weekend I was already traveling to the area. When I did a full 180 for what I wanted post-trial (shoutout to the indecisive brides like me), Amanda made me feel comfortable and confident--totally without judgment. I never felt afraid to ask for something different or change my mind.
On the day of the wedding, Amanda and her team brought such calm and joyful energy to the getting ready process. It was so lovely to see my maid of honor and mom treated with just as much care in the beauty process as I was. The team really listened to what everyone wanted and did an incredible job. My hair and makeup were absolutely perfect, photographed beautifully, and lasted through a whole night of dancing, drinking, and joy (and possibly a dip in the lake). We couldn't be happier with the quality of care, professionalism, and final product.

Amanda and her team were incredible. I got married at The Sherwood Inn on 10/5/24. Prior to wedding day Amanda’s communication was perfect and put this bride at ease. I originally was going to do a spray tan for my wedding so I had one for my trial. After my trial I decided I wasn’t going to do one because I felt like I didn’t look like me. Contacted Amanda and let her know and she assured me wasn’t a problem. Fast forward to wedding day. My make-up and hair were flawless. Both lasted me all day and night! My mother, mother in law and bridesmaids all got their hair and make-up done and all looked stunning. Highly recommend!
I’m so glad I was referred to Love Johnny and June. Amanda blew me away with her creativity and professionalism. My husband and I eloped in Ithaca and I met her in person for the first time that morning. I had sent her some photos of ideas I had, and she surpassed my expectations. She was also very patient. We didn’t have a chance to meet ahead of time, and she was willing to make a change when I had a doubt about my lashes and wanted to add more color to my eyes. She was kind and reassuring and said of course and reminded me that we hadn’t had a practice session. She helped keep me calm. My hair and my makeup were stunning. I’ve gotten so many compliments from my friends on both. I’m still getting them! I highly recommend Amanda and her team if you want to look gorgeous on your big day!!
I am so glad that we chose Love, Johnny & June for our wedding hair and make-up. I had 12 folks in the wedding party getting hair and make-up done, including bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, flower girl, and myself. I did a trial with Amanda a few months before the wedding at their salon and the entire team did such a wonderful job, not only on the day of, but also working with me leading up to the event thinking through ideas and scheduling. Amanda, Haleigh, and Eva did such a phenomenal job on the big day - they worked with each person to ensure they felt comfortable and happy about their hair and/or makeup. Amanda and her team are outstanding and worked so seamlessly with our other all-star vendors. Very grateful to them for making our big day even more special.
I loved my hairstyle for my wedding! I used Love, Johnny & June for myself (bride), some bridesmaids, my mother and MIL's hairstyles on my big day.
I really appreciate Lindsay's honesty while booking. When I shared the make up look I was going for, she knew that it was not their style and she was very straightforward about it and recommended a different MUA instead of just telling me yes for a paycheck and giving me something different than what I asked for.
I highly recommend using them for your hair needs if you are in the area!!!
Absolutely loved Amanda's work! Having the trial a couple of months before was perfect. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted and it helped to have a jumping off point. Amanda was very kindly open to working through some changes as well. We did some tweaks for the wedding day and everything came out so beautifully!
While I wear makeup day to day, I haven't ever had my makeup done like I did for my wedding. I did not feel at all overdone and everything Amanda did looked very natural, but so elevated. My hairstyle was soft and very flattering and my bridal party also looked amazing!
My hair and makeup stayed great looking all night. Would recommend Amanda and her team to anyone looking for HMUA in the area!
Lindsey and her team are absolutely amazing! She is great about responding in a timely manner and even braced a snowstorm for my trial. She was welcoming with having people attend my trial and share in the memories. I love that their work is 'enhanced natural beauty'. A lot of my girls are not make-up wearers and they all loved their looks. No one felt caked on. Everyone's hair and make up stayed in place for a very long day. I also loved that she used products that I normally use on myself so it prevented any fear of having a reaction or not sitting right on my skin. The day of, they were all fantastic! They kept everyone on time and truly felt like they were there to share the day. They made everyone feel so beautiful. They were also very knowledgeable about their products and matched a variety of skin tone and skin types perfectly. Not to mention a huge variety of hair types (Party of 13!) Highly recommend! (coming from a type-A bride)
I would highly recommend hiring Love, Johnny and June for hair and makeup. From the beginning, Lindsey and Amanda were organized, responsive, and transparent. I was also really impressed with how they worked with me to figure out how to do both my hair and makeup in a way that made me feel beautiful but also myself. I'm not used to wearing a lot of makeup, so I was nervous about having a makeup artist overdo it. But Lindsey did a great job with the trial and was really responsive to making changes before the big day. I was impressed and eased by Lindsey's flexibility and willingness to make expert suggestions without being judgmental about what I wanted. She and Eva also did a phenomenal job with my bridesmaids and mother, most of whom also aren't accustomed to wearing a lot of makeup. Everyone looked beautiful but also comfortable in their own skin. The two were also just really pleasant and nice to be with on the big day.
Love, Johnny & June was the perfect choice for my wedding last month! They were excellent with all communication and did a great job with my hair and makeup. Lindsey was super pleasant to chat with, understood exactly what I wanted, and asked tons of questions at the trial to make sure we were on the same page! On the day of the wedding, I considered changing my hairstyle from my trial due to weather, and she was completely on board to do that too. My wedding was on a very hot and humid day and my makeup lasted ALL night. My bridesmaids were also very happy with their styles from Lindsey and her team. I would highly recommend them for your wedding!
Amanda and Alyssa did hair and makeup for the entire bridal party and they were amazing! They both were super personable and did outstanding, all of us were extremely happy with how our hair and makeup turned out, and it lasted all day! They didn’t rush through anything and made sure everyone got touch ups if needed. They were also great at listening to everyone’s wants and we definitely recommend their services!
Amanda and Lindsey were incredibly fantastic to work with! I am not someone who wears makeup frequently, and when I met Amanda for my trial, she listened to exactly what I wanted and figured out how to translate some of my goals into makeup terminology. I was worried about the makeup being too heavy and not feeling like myself, but she created a look that was truly perfect and light. My hair was great - she helped troubleshoot at the trial how to fix some aspects that were bothering me a little bit, and it looked fantastic on the wedding day. Everyone's hair and makeup held up, even on a hot day! I highly recommend them both.
I've had the pleasure of working with Amanda twice. After she did my makeup for my elopement I knew I would never have anyone else do my makeup for my second celebration. I've never felt so beautiful and I am so grateful she took the time to travel to me to help me and my bridesmaids get ready for my wedding!

My trial was the perfect experience! Amanda was flexible with dates and times when scheduling - her communication was excellent. I sent her different styles prior to my wedding trial and she was prepared to help recreate the looks best on me. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed and she made me feel beautiful and confident. On the wedding day Love, Johnny & June did a wonderful job making my bridal party look flawless! They fit right into the group and had laid the timeline and helpful guide out in advance so we were all ready to go on time. I would recommend them 100 times over if I could!
I can’t recommend Love Johnny & June enough. We had Amanda, LB and Meg doing our hair and makeup for my wedding day. With 9 people, they were perfectly on schedule and everyone looked amazing. When I went in for my first makeup trial I didn’t know what I wanted at all because I typically don’t wear much makeup. I showed Amanda an inspo photo and while it was a beautiful look I realized I didn’t feel like myself. Amanda worked with me to figure out what we wanted to change and set up a second trial. I could not have been happier with the final look on my wedding day.
I can't rave enough about Love, Johnny and June! Lindsey and Hannah were fantastic. Couldn't have asked for better people to do my wedding and also share the day with. They seamlessly fit into the house with everyone getting ready. My trial with both of them went a smooth as could be. For my make-up I went with a natural/light classic look and Hannah did it to perfection. Honestly, I didn't do any touch ups over the night. My makeup was not overdone at all and looked myself :)
Lindsey, is amazing. I have been in many weddings as a bridesmaid but my wedding updo was everything and more. Lindsey is so easy to talk to and had no issue when we mixed different updo ideas together in order to get what I envisioned. My hair stayed perfectly throughout all the dancing and looked amazing in photos. Furthermore, the mom's and my sister in laws hair and makeup were all on point. If I could repeat my wedding day I would choose Lindsey and Hannah hands down every time. Can't recommend them enough!
I highly recommend Amanda from Love, Johnny & June if you are looking for a stylist. I have very fine hair and anytime I found a style I wanted to try for my wedding day it seemed impossible with my type of hair.
After my trial with Amanda I left feeling so confident and excited for my special day. She listened to what I wanted to try and what my normal style was to help create a beautiful look.
The day of the wedding Amanda arrived on time. She was very organized and this allowed myself and my bridesmaids to be ready when the photographer arrived which made the rest of the day to run smoothly so we could enjoy all of those fun things you spend so much time planning.
Amanda met and exceeded every hope that I had for my look on my wedding day. She made me feel beautiful and I felt like a proper bride.

Amanda was incredible to work with. She took all my inspiration and helped to craft the best combo of me + glam’d up me that took into account the light on the day of, the colors that will be around me… AND worked before and after our trial session (she came all the way to our home in the middle of nowhere Catskills!) to figure out the best way to get all I wanted from a hairstyle (that would work with my hair length and type). Day of, she was a great pump-upper and helped me feel gorg. THANK YOU AMANDA!
I had an amazing experience with Amanda - she was everything I was looking for in a stylist and helped me figure out exactly the look I wanted for my wedding day. As someone who rarely wears makeup, I was nervous about being 'done up' for the day but Amanda listened and helped me find the right balance so that I just looked like an 'elevated' version of myself. She was so kind and thoughtful throughout the process, as well. Highly recommend!

How do they not have any reviews yet?? These women are beyond. From even just speaking over email I knew they were the ones to book. They give off the best vibes that you so want for a hectic wedding day. Being the indecisive person I am, I completely changed my mind on everything from my trial and they were so gracious and understanding about it. And the day of, it was PERFECT. I knew I loved them, but when my girls talked about how much they loved them too it made me so thrilled. I can't recommend them enough - they are so professional and so kind and honestly just so fun to be around! Couldn't imagine having anyone else for my big day.
