those pictures just came out WOW. At the engagement shoot we were so awkward about posing and stuff and Renee just made everything so easy and fun and we laughed the whole time. At my boudoir shoot, Kelly and Renee made me feel so confident in myself and my body and just made that whole experience so special. (My husband LOVES those pictures.) As far as the wedding day and leading up to it. Renee was so communicative and helped iron out a few things with our timeline to make sure it ran smoothly. We even added on Videography services about 3 weeks out! They were so helpful in getting us the best package to highlight the most important parts of our day. We went over everything that we expected for the day and the expectations were exceeded! We followed the timeline perfectly, we had fun, and everything was captured beautifully! They even helped us pull off a last minute shot idea, hitting a golf shot!!! Those pictures became my favorites of the sneak peeks so far. Our Videographer, Grant, was also so amazing!!! We got along with him great and he was so helpful in posing us for some amazing video shots. I cannot wait to see how that turns out!! She was so amazing with all of the pre-day planning calls and really helped me feel at ease regarding everything. Day of could not have gone better too. Dusty, the coordinator was so great to have around and she knew exactly how everything should be set up and made sure it was perfect. Kelly showed up and starting shooting right away! My husband and I set an appointment for a consultation and we were matched with Renee. We three instantly connected and my husband and I knew our search was over. Our engagement shoot was at our favorite place, the beach! Renee was not afraid to get down in the sand, climb over the driftwood trees, and get in the water with us. She made us feel so comfortable to just be ourselves and was not afraid to move an arm or a strand of hair to get the perfect photo! She made my dream board come to life and we are still obsessed with our photos! Throughout the wedding planning process, although she was not our planner, Renee was there every step of the way. No matter how many questions we had, she always had an answer and eased our worries. On the day of our wedding, Renee arrived promptly and got right to work. rt with I was planning out my wedding for two years, over this time I would receive check-in emails with some reminders of to-do tasks that should be getting completed around that time. Renee took our engagement photos which were a blast! She was also our day-of-coordinator and was constantly checking in on me and my mother. Everything was perfectly organized and she is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet. They have worked with all the vendors I had hired as well which helped. The month of my wedding we had a hurricane.. that was fun but she still stayed in contact with me and confirmed all my vendors were still okay for our wedding date. Kelly took our wedding photos and some personal ones... ;) Both are turning out so beautiful and fun. If you have ideas for some pictures you really want she will 100% make sure those get taken and will get some AMAZING shots that you never thought about. d to the quality and price I was looking for. Kelly Howell is so down to earth, easy to talk to, and I could tell she was going to support my vision for my dream wedding. If you never planned a wedding before you have no clue what you are doing. I know some of my requests were difficult ( because I just did not know certain things) but Kelly always lent a listening ear, never made me feel stupid, and always gave me different options on ways to achieve a certain request. She really brought the vision of my wedding to life, she worked with me for over an entire year.. I likely was somewhat annoying with emails and calls but Kelly never made me feel this way, she took time to chat and made sure my requests were taken care of. Always answered my text messages, emails, calls. She gave me the best advice about really everything. There were some tough moments in planning process and Kelly took control of the situations, calmed me as the bride and always reassured me everything will be great, AND IT WAS. I ended up also hiring Love Letters for Photo (separate review but Renee was fantastic!!! highly recommend), I would have hired them for video as well but already had another vendor in mind (id recommend the whole trio photo, planning, video done by Love Letters, they do quality work and are a great team, customer first mentality in an age where I feel this is dying). Back to planning, Kelly went above and beyond for US. The day of wedding week, Kelly was there every step of the day. She made the weekend a breeze even during some VERY chaotic times ( fire alarm going off in building, things I didn't even realized happened because she took care of it, also she is an expert at the most difficulty BUSTLES!) Her communication with other vendors, my family, and bride and groom were extremely professional, she is organized, thorough in all she does. Most importantly, she works with the couple, their vision, and truly cares for the customer. She helped me design a beautiful reception room with the budget I had and I am so surprised how well we stayed within the budget and how elegant the room turned out. I definitely got emotional when I saw the room for the first time. I can't wait to post the photos. TAKE AWAY: do not plan a wedding without an amazing planner like Love Letters. I have no regrets and very blessed Love Letters was able to plan our special memory. They are more than just planners they truly become family during this process and definitely want the best for you. Kelly was always honest with me and anytime I didn't take her advice (which was rare) I regretted not listening, but she never made me feel bad for going a different direction. As we neared the wedding day they really kicked things into overdrive and brought on board their colleague Dusty Shelton to help be our on-the-ground person to organize the day-of while Renee took on photography duties. This tag team was invaluable and Dusty helped coordinate everything to make sure people got to where they needed to be (no small feat, given that our wedding was on an island accessible only via ferry or boat) and that everything was in place for both our beachside ceremony and at the venue for the reception. Renee's photography has turned out stunning and we've only seen a sneak peak at our full spread of photos. We thought we were not incredibly photogenic people and going into the wedding Jenny had asked for us to get just three good photos of us on the beach. Well, we got a lot more than that! The photos are so beautiful and capture our day with elegance and dazzle. More than anything, Love Letters was a sensitive and professional vendor to work with. The whole team was professional, on time, efficient and yet never rushed us or made us feel off kilter. In fact, just the opposite. On a day brimming with emotions and full of twists and turns, they kept us grounded and focused on each other and on enjoying our wedding day.
