We had guests ranging from a great aunt saying “I couldn’t leave because even if I didn’t know a song and started walking off the dance floor I immediately got drawn back on because I knew the next” to friends of ours in their wedding era visiting wedding after wedding and saying they’ve never not left the dance floor besides our wedding. He kept the party going all night long. 10/10 recommend him (and P.S. the uplighting, cold sparks and monogram are sick - just add them, you won’t regret it).

Music was really important to us, and we have pretty eclectic tastes, with different genres and must-play songs we each cared about. I was getting a bit stressed during the planning process, but Chris was incredibly patient and easy to work with. After meeting with him, it became clear the best approach was to give him our key songs and overall vibe, then trust him to read the room, that turned out to be exactly right.
Our wedding crowd was diverse in age and music preferences, and Chris handled it perfectly. He seamlessly balanced different styles and kept the dance floor going all night. In just the past two days, we've had people of all ages tell us how great the music was.

His setup was awesome.. the sound was great, and the uplighting completely changed the vibe of the room. It looked incredible and was totally worth it. At one point, it felt like we were back at our favorite college bar from 10 years ago, which is exactly what we wanted. My friends still haven’t stopped talking about the DJ.
He even improvised mid-reception when my wife spilled a drink on her dress and looped the song I was dancing to with my mom until the coordinators got it cleaned. It was such a clutch move that half the room didn’t even notice what happened.

We loved the digital sign on his DJ stand that showed the dates of our fist date, engagement, and wedding date. We chose the Photo Booth as our add on- and it was so much fun. To say it was all done so incredibly is an understatement. It was a truly fantastic time, and the only reason I wasn't on the dance floor the entire night was because I did feel that I should also talk to my guests some amount during the reception. But too often while I would be talking, the music would pull me right back!
I really truly cannot thank Chris and Dan enough for the effort they put in in making my wedding even better than I had thought was possible. I would recommend the hell out of them.

and he didn’t just play music from a playlist. I was sold on her recommendation alone. Communication with Chris was simple and seamless from initial contact right up until our wedding day. We decided to add the photo booth onto our package and at a venue site visit, he discovered that the photo booth would need something to help stabilize it due to the rocky ground. Chris took it upon himself to buy a piece of wood and mock something up that would work and it did! He took away a stressor for me without even being asked! He went above and beyond and I can’t thank him enough for that. Now onto the music…. We had a small guest count which could make a dance floor intimidating. But not with Chris! The floor was filled all night long and his service was expert level. We requested a lot of 2000s and boy did he deliver. Everyone was so pumped and having the time of their lives out there! I highly recommend hiring Chris for all your DJ needs! You won’t be disappointed.

We first met Chris at one of our friends weddings 4 years...
ago and I remember my now husband turning to me and saying “when we get married he will be our DJ” sure enough 4 years later he was our DJ and it was one of the best decisions we made. Chris has done majority of our friends weddings and every time he absolutely crushes it up there.
Our one request for Chris was we wanted people to basically never leave the dance floor. I can’t even count how many times someone has mentioned our dance floor at our wedding. It was PACKED all night long, it was everything we wanted and could’ve asked for. He truly made our wedding a night that my husband and I and our guests will never ever forget. We would recommend him a million times to absolutely every single person.

When going through our reception video clips, you can hear me say multiple times, “he gets my vibe” and he really does. He made sure to talk to us prior to our wedding to get to really know us and know what we wanted out of our night and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. We got the sparklers through him and it was such a fun addition. It made our entrance and first dance pop! These were also super fun once the dancefloor opened up and everyone loved them. We also used the digital photobooth from him and this speaks for itself. Always such a fun time and our guests loved it. As we got closer to our wedding day Chris took the time to meet with us in person to review every detail of our ceremony and reception. He even called me the day before to see if we had any last minute questions or changes. On our wedding night the dance floor was PACKED. Chris even surprised us with an engagement picture and lyrics to our first dance displayed at the front of his DJ booth which was such a nice touch. Our guests are still raving about him and recently engaged friends are asking for his contact info because he was THAT good. We added the cold sparks which were also a huge hit and the highlight reel Chris and his team puts together is the cherry on top of everything else he did for us! Look no further than DJ Chris Johnston!!

lists” in addition to having meetings with him to describe the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Chris created the perfect combination of music for all generations to enjoy and dance to. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and never cleared once. Additionally, his photo booth and cold sparkler add ons were a huge hit! The highlight reel he created from the night was amazing and captured some of the best moments on the dance floor. Friends and family have not stopped talking about the music at our wedding all thanks to him! Thanks Chris for making our wedding day amazing!

so many people reaching out to us after saying he was the best DJ they've ever seen! When planning, we wanted all of our guests to be dancing all night, and let me tell you... every single person was on that dance floor ALL NIGHT! He played the exact music we wanted, and was amazing at reading the crowd. Our dance floor was so packed that people were spilling into the tables and still dancing! Chris was also the sweetest human to work with! He was very chill and he felt like one of our friends.
