o loved that we could have as little to as much say in the music playlist that we wanted.... in our case, it was as much as possible. We booked well in advance and I am so glad that we did because this company is SO worth it. They truly made our day so memorable and did everything that we asked and I wouldn't have changed a thing. The communication from the company was amazing from consult all the way until wedding day. Their online planner form is very straight forward and easy to use. If you have any special requests, they do everything in their power to make it happen. We had Steve as our DJ for our wedding and he was personable, professional, and an overall great guy and DJ. He did an amazing job and we are so grateful that we had him as our DJ/MC for our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). He kept the day flowing smoothly, adapted as changes needed to be made, and kept the party going all night. I cannot recommend Love Plus One DJs enough!!!

the mic and speakers were perfect to make sure all our 160 guests could hear the vows and ceremony clearly. The team worked closely with our venue to utilize their Sonos speaker for cocktail hour and then the reception sound, music, and announcements were spot on. Having the E-Planner tool leading up to wedding day made it super easy to choose what music we wanted for certain moments during the wedding day. The cherry on top was that Mike was able to bring amazing confidence and get our guests up out of their seats for our grand entrance and it was a game changer that made the reception flow and go so well. Loved that the lights were going for the dance floor and the transitions of songs kept our guests grooving with us. Would recommend requesting DJ Mike be your go to guy for wedding DJ and highly recommend Love Plus One if you want peace of mind with all your wedding day music needs!

We also utilized their upllight package, and that really set the ambience for the whole venue. It’s tacky, but it brought it all together and made it feel magical.

Everything from the ceremony, to the grand entrances, all the announcements, the cocktail hour music, the dinner music, and of course open dancing, went SEAMLESSLY. He played all the right music at the right time. There were no awkward gaps. Everyone was out on the dance floor having a blast. We had so many people tell us how fun our wedding was. We even had a couple people say that it was the most fun they’ve had at a wedding. That’s honestly thanks to Rob!

e down the aisle. And the online music planner was SO helpful and one of the reasons we chose them in the first place. The reason we're not giving 5 stars is because there were a few minor hiccups with DJ Steve. Pros He set up early and quickly Didn't play anything off the do not play list Professional in manner and attire Played pretty good music during dancing and engaged with the crowd Played most of the important songs at the right time (more on that below) Cons Didn't switch the bridal party processional song to the bride processional song. So we had to wait for a long song to almost finish while all the guests were standing and waiting. A guest ended up checking on us and then told him to switch it. It doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it was really awkward, especially with all the runaway bride jokes we got for the rest of the night. We felt like his choice of dinner music was odd. It was old and jazzy (like instrumental jazz) which was the opposite of what we said we wanted during our meeting earlier in the week. We said we wanted a young vibe for the night, and he had plenty of songs suggested on the music planner we filled out. To his credit, when we asked him to change it to more modern stuff, he did. Lastly, this wasn't necessarily a con but something we would've liked to have been asked about; clean versions vs explicit. Towards the end of the night, we had some songs we wanted played, but they ended up being the clean version, which just isn't as fun to us. We just wanted to scream dance to Get Low lol. So I would just suggest asking future couple about their preference on explicit vs. Clean. All in all, we were happy with the company in general, but a little disappointed with the hiccups on the night.

We loved that we were able to plan our night with our online planner, then about a week before our reception with talked with DJ Shortstop (Vinny) on the phone and he made sure that he really got a feel for how we wanted everything that night! Not only was DJ Shortstop our DJ that night (and did an AMAZING JOB!!) but when I was super nervous before coming out, he calmed my nerves. I HIGHLY recommend this company, you can tell they have been around for a while and that the DJ's are super happy with their job! Their playlist was out of this world! The DJ also helped us with selecting "must play" songs and gave us tips on how we should roll out some of the songs (dad/daughter dance, etc.). We will definitely use them again!

e online planner was very easy! My husband and I liked that we could pick our own music if it wasn't already on the planner website. We had DJ Mike for our wedding. He was amazing! He nailed pronouncing our super long last name. He's very kind and charismatic, he knew how to keep the party going!
