About this vendor
Based on the North Shore of Oahu, Love Roams is a wedding videography team that brings cinematic destination wedding films to couples everywhere. Everything from your rehearsal dinner and pre-ceremony to the big day itself can be featured in a video that’ll captivate you for years to come.
It's more than just a film. It's your story. Owner and videographer Caleb Backus has honed his videography skills since he was just a 17-year-old in Tennessee. From shooting weddings across the globe, to capturing blissful “I do's” on the islands of Hawai'i, he has grown every step of the way. He’s dedicated to catching romantic moments like fireflies as they naturally happen throughout your special day.
Perhaps you’re looking for multiple cameras to capture multiple locations during the celebration. Maybe you’ll need additional hours of shooting as the party runs long into the night or drone footage to film the glow of your wedding sunset. You’ll have the opportunity to look at the raw footage and put your stamp on the video, as well as enjoy the highlight video of all your favorite moments. You can choose to receive your high-definition film on USB or through direct download, whichever is easiest. Let Caleb and Love Roams capture your whirlwind romance from start to finish and deliver the video of your wildest dreams.

Laidback but professional, that's how Caleb rolls and we LOVE it. His videos capture the raw emotion of couples on their actual day and you can just tell he has plenty of creative ...
juices by the "feel" of his work. We engaged Caleb a little over a year before our big day (because we are planners like that) and he's just been so friendly and responsive the whole time! Caleb and Preston (his second shooter) were early on the wedding day and stayed all the way till the night ended - they were basically on their feet filming the entire day. It turned out our wedding photographer was a little more intentional with poses/shots and we appreciated how Caleb and Preston just went with the flow and worked seamlessly alongside our photographer. It's been less than a month since our big day and we can't wait to see the end product!
Caleb did an amazing job on our elopement video capturing all the special moments and made it look so magical. He was super chill but professional and knew exactly what shots he wa...
nted. The final video was beautifully crafted and exactly what we wanted. Very grateful for his patience and guidance as the two of us are not used to being in front of the camera! Highly recommend.
Great value and amazing work! We had 2 videographers helping us throughout the day, one with super8 (I didn't know about this!) and it turned out to be so artistic and lovely. I di...
dn't really have any vision or idea for video, but he was able to translate my long-winded answers from his questionnaire into beautiful work of art :)We also got the fully edited version in 8 weeks.
highly recommend!
Caleb and his team were so wonderful to work with! Before the wedding, we got to virtually chat with him to share a little about us and our vision for the wedding. One the day of t...

roduct was to us in less than a month and we are in love! We hired Caleb and flew him to Maui which was very reasonable and the best decision ever! 10/10 would hire Caleb again in a heartbeat!!!
Working with Caleb on our big day was such a pleasure from start to finish. He was fun, creative, comfortable, & professional. He came recommended to us by our wedding coordinator,...
Kalinda, and thank God we went with him for our wedding video! I have a tendency to be awkward in front of the camera but Caleb's charisma and energy made it easy and fun, and we couldn't be happier with our wedding video!
We are beyond grateful to have a video of our wedding day! We were on the fence with getting a video due to our budget, but, hindsight it was such a priceless decision.

art to the end, Love Roams was extremely responsive, flexible, and understanding.
They are so fun and charming, which is such an added bonus as it added to our vibe to keep us energetic and pumped throughout our wedding.
We will appreciate our wedding video for years to come and so happy it was captured for us to relive and remember.
Thank you so much again Love Roams!

de this for us… And we are still pretty speechless! Caleb was the best investment we made for our entire wedding experience. Working with him was honestly a dream — we truly felt he was the best videographer ever! Don't hesitate, hire him :)
My husband and I were married on Kauai in April 2022. We looked at a dozen videographers on Kauai and could not find one we liked so we started looking at other islands. We found C...
aleb on Oahu and knew right away that he was the videographer we wanted to capture our day so we decided to fly him over to Kauai. Caleb was quick to respond to all of my emails, he asked thoughtful questions to be sure he captured our day how we wanted and he was so much fun to hang out with on our day. The videos he captured exceeded our expectations and everyone who has watched it has been stunned by how he used his artistic expression. I would 100% choose Caleb all over again to capture our day. You will not regret working with him!
I am SO happy I found Caleb to photograph our wedding! He was always very prompt with responses and made our vision come to life. Him and the assistant he brought to the wedding we...
’re such a great addition to our wedding. Not only did they do a great job with our video but they tore up the dance floor!! I always hate when you go to weddings and the photographers/videographers just awkwardly stand there. I cannot express how much I recommend Caleb and his company. I wish I could get married all over again just to go through the experience all over again!!!
When we decided to elope to Hawai'i, we knew that we wanted to hire a videographer to document our wedding day. Caleb was recommended to us by our photographer, and he couldn't hav...
e been a better fit for us. Caleb was responsive and helpful during the planning phase of our elopement and was on time and flexible during the day of our ceremony! We are the most awkward couple when it comes to posing for photographs and film, but Caleb made every experience fun and made us look like pros! He also worked smoothly with our photographer to ensure they both got amazing shots of us--definitely did not step on each other's toes or get in each other's way. We had our final video within weeks of our elopement and much sooner than we expected. It exceeds expectations. We tear up after watching it still! We cannot recommend Caleb enough if you are searching for a relaxed, skilled videographer to capture your wedding day, and we would certainly hire him again if we needed someone! Mahalo nui loa, Caleb!

our video and photographs. Caleb's personality, precision, and quality of work is second to none. Our guests continue to tell us they've never seen prettier wedding photos or videos. My wife and I could not sing hire praises - you'd be sorry hiring anyone else. And did I say how much fun Caleb was to work with? He should've been in our wedding party. Caleb made our day.
Caleb was fantastic during the entire time and made a video my wife and I love. The entire experience was fantastic and I couldn't recommend Caleb enough!

service. (Our friends even saw our video and booked him right after our wedding because they loved it too!) He made our day sooooo special and memorable. The whole day they made me feel so comfortable and like myself in front of the camera. Me and my husband always say "Our videographers were one of our favorite parts of our wedding day." THEY. WERE. SO. FUN!!! We laughed with them, danced with them, and even still keep in touch with them! Their skill and videography is unreal, but so was the whole process. He was so intentional on making sure he knew what style video we wanted, what all we wanted in the video, and when wedding day came.. I didn't have to think about a thing! If you are looking for a wedding videographer, trust me.. he is your guy!
