. We chatted the whole way through about everything and anything and by the time she was done and I looked in the mirror, I was really happy with what she had done. I have been to other MUA over the years and the majority of the time I have come out with a caked unnatural look. Amanda did neither of these. She listens to you and then does what she thinks suits you, I completely trusted her and felt comfortable around her. On my wedding day she came to my house and did my 4 bridesmaids, my mother and her friend. Have to say I was very worried about my bridesmaids having their makeup done ( as I was the one paying for it!) as 2 of them have a habit of getting their make-up done professionally in the past and taking it off straight away as they were not happy with it, and another would never let anyone else do her makeup she would ALWAYS do it herself, but they sat down with her and let her do what she thought look good at them and they loved it after. I was completely in awe of my make-up on the day, as leading up to my wedding I had some skin breakouts due to stress and did not want this showing in any pictures taken on the day. I thought I would look hideous but Amanda worked her magic and I did not! Would definitely recommend Amanda, looking for an excuse to go back and have my make-up done again by her!

looked like more polished versions of ourselves which was just what I was going for. Aside from doing doing wonderful work Amanda is so relaxed and easy going which is GREAT on your wedding day. She was so chill and fit right into my group of ladies getting ready. I would highly recommend Amanda for any occasion you need makeup done!

Amanda created exactly the hair look I wanted, spending extra time during my trial to make sure it looked perfect, and it held up wonderfully the entire day of my wedding! She also created a gorgeous makeup look for me. I really wasn't sure what I wanted in terms of makeup, but I was so happy with how it turned out - not easy since I barely gave her any direction! Amanda also brought 2 other stylists to help my bridal party get ready the morning of, making sure that we ran on time and everyone was taken care of. Not only was everyone thrilled with how their hair and makeup turned out, but Amanda and her team truly fit in with us and made our morning even more fun! I am sure that you cannot get better service anywhere in NY, not to mention at a great value. I highly highly recommend Amanda and hope to have the opportunity to work with her again in the near future!

I booked her last minute and she worked with me despite my timing complications. The experience was great. She is very talented and experienced. You can tell that this is all second nature to her. With just a simple look at my face, she went to work and did her magic. Nothing was fussy or over-thought. She did everything with confidence. I trusted her and it paid off, because I had nothing to worry about, I was in excellent hands with Amanda. I wanted a classic, natural look and to enhance my features. Beyond this, I had little direction for makeup for her honestly, I had a really hard time articulating what I pictured, but she knew exactly what would look best. I just sat back and enjoyed the experience! She was efficient and quick. Hair looked fantastic as well! i got a side bun inspired by Charlize Theron, it was gorgeous. Definitely would recommend Amanda again to anyone who wants to look fabulous for the day! She is a gem!

eat communicator and you could just tell she was excited about what she does. We wouldn't be able to make time for a trial run before the wedding so naturally I was a little nervous about that. She put me at ease as soon as she walked in the door. I had never before met her but it felt like a friend was doing my hair and makeup. She worked with my skin and light sensitivity, flawlessly airbrushed my makeup and put my hair up exactly how I wanted. All without a trial run! I can't recommend Amanda & Love Your Face Beauty enough. She is affordable, sweet and so professional. She really helped make my day so perfect and I will be singing her praises for a very long time!

ne week I would be in NY before my big day. The trial went great, we discussed some variances, and the day of my wedding I couldn't have guessed I would look as beautiful as I did. I actually stayed all together until 3am! Long day ;) The bridesmaids looked fantastic too... Jenna and Amanda were able to look at photos and just chat with the girls to make them look exactly like they wanted.

I knew from the trial that she would be easy to work with because she listened to everything I had to say and took notes of what I wanted for the actual day. She is very friendly and personable and puts you at ease during the whole process. My makeup for City Hall looked flawless and my hair and makeup for the reception was just as great. I received tons of compliments from friends and family about how great my hair and makeup looked throughout the night. She also did my mom's makeup for the reception, and considering my mom never wears makeup and was skeptical about getting anything, Amanda made my mom look natural with just enough makeup to look good in pictures, and my mom was definitely happy with it. I have absolutely no doubt that I'll be referring Amanda to anyone who needs their hair and/or makeup done for any occasion.

do exactly what I wanted, not too much makeup, but lots of false eyelashes! I booked her on the spot and booked her to do my hair and makeup for the rehearsal dinner as well. I was so, so happy with both my hair and makeup for the rehearsal dinner. It looked "slightly more dressed up than normal" - which was perfect as I am not a big "makeup" person on an everyday basis. For the wedding day, Amanda brought along her assistant and got to work on myself, five bridesmaids and my mother. Everything was perfect. They worked quickly and did exactly what everyone wanted. My makeup was flawless and stayed put all night long. I was shocked it didn't run after I cried during photos. Amanda kept touching me up until I walked out the door. Every single one of my bridesmaids looked amazing. Amanda really knew how to highlight everyone's individual features and make each girl beautiful. Even my mom, who is extremely picky about her makeup was very, very happy and is planning on using Amanda again for special events in the future. Her prices were reasonable, she was very responsive on email and everything was professional. The best part? She was fun to be around! She laughed with us and put myself and wedding party at ease as she worked. I loved every minute of it. I can't say enough great things about Amanda. Book her for your wedding!!!

er work. Before meeting Amanda, we had excellent communication via email, and I shared my ideas via Pintrest with her. She was receptive and had great ideas, and she respected that I only wanted hypoallergenic makeup. She arrived at my apartment exactly ontime, and got started on the flowergirl right away. She was professional, friendly and had a very calming way about her. She put us all at ease. We did not feel rushed even though we were under very strict time constraints. She did a fantastic job with our flowergirl being sure she looked age appropiate, and got to work on my bridesmaid. She worked with her on her ideas, and gave her a very beautiful, natural, flowing look. Amanda then drove down to the wedding venue to work on my hair and makeup, and she was there before I was, with all her tools laid out. The friendly conversation put me at ease, and she gave me a beautiful hairstyle based on ideas I had on Pintrest. She then applied the hypoallergenic makeup and checked to make sure every step of the way that I was happy with it. She even left me with a little lipstick for the rest of the night. My hairstyle help up perfectly all night, as did my makeup. Not a hair was out of place even though I was dancing all night long. The makeup was so natural, it hardly looked like I was wearing any. My skin even felt soft and moisturized through the next day. I highly recommend Amanda - her prices are very on point, and her services were worth every penny.

So when I became engaged earlier this year there was one thing I was sure of during the initial stages of planning - I wanted Amanda to do my makeup. She just did my makeup for my engagement photos and they turned out great. The look was natural but glammed up just enough - I was basically a better version of myself. I can't wait for the big day!

I know my face better than anyone else and know what looks good on me, so I wasn't going into the session too pleased. But boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Amanda really knows what she's doing. She is makeup artist, hairdresser, businesswoman, and therapist all rolled into one. She is an amazing listener. I told her what I like, and created a look that was flawless. Really, I couldn't have done it better myself, and I'm super picky. She also was great with delegating time. I'm sure it wasn't easy to make-up 5 girls in only a few hours, but she did it without breaking a sweat. And the bride! She was glowing all night long. Amanda's professionalism and warm heart won me over. I can't wait to meet my own Prince Charming, so I can have Amanda make me feel like a princess again!

wever, my fiance was adamant about me wearing very little, if any, makeup for our wedding. He didn't want me to look made up... he wanted me to "look normal." Amanda was able to honor both of our wishes and gave me a very natural look that made me feel gorgeous. The airbrushed makeup was very light and stayed on all day and night even during the hot August weather! The false eyelashes made me feel glamorous, but wasn't too over the top! Amanda tried several looks with me prior to the wedding to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted prior to my wedding. She also did the makeup and hair for my wedding party and mother and everyone commented on how accommodating Amanda was. She is an excellent listener, professional, very creative, and gave me and my group her complete attention. I was very impressed and continue to recommend her to everyone I know that is getting married!

She met with me before hand to make sure I was comfortable with her and test out several different styles. I knew sure going into the big day that my makeup would be flawless!!! She was so much fun to work with!!! My makeup on the day of the wedding came out better than expected!! At the end of the night after hours of pictures, eating, drinking, crying, laughing, and dancing it still looked as good as it did before the ceremony!! I'd never had airbrush makeup done before, so I was a little nervous at first, but I LOVED it. It was such a smooth and flawless finish - it doesn't even look like makeup! I highly recommend Amanda! She's worth every penny and more!!

I wanted, and she did a wonderful job sticking to exactly what I asked for! My shoot lasted 5 hours (crazy, I know) and the make up lasted beautifully til the end. She gave me a nice, natural look while somehow glamming me up at the same time. I felt GORGEOUS! Not only is Amanda extremely talented, she is also so great at making you feel comfortable. It can be awkward to sit there for an hour and while somebody makes you over, but she was an excellent conversationalist and made me feel really relaxed. The time flew by!
