she offers. As Mother of the Bride, I was involved in every aspect of helping to plan our daughter’s (May 2021) wedding. I booked the vendors, helped with the wedding design, details and worked with our daughter to plan the wedding of her dreams. Truth be told, early in the planning process, I wasn’t even sure we needed an outside wedding coordinator since our venue offered some of that help as well. Boy was I wrong! I just can’t say enough GREAT THINGS about Jessica Hernandez/Lovebird Lane Events and the incredible job that she did! She literally saved the day! The saying goes… “you don’t know what you don’t know.” So true! Jessica stepped in and handled all of the hundreds of details and vendor communications months ahead of the wedding. She took so much off of my plate allowing me to be in the moment, and enjoy not only the wedding weekend itself, but also the days leading up. She offered much needed advice on so many different decisions, helped us pivot to a new location just eight weeks out from the wedding date (our original venue cancelled due to winter storm damage), coordinated all of the moving parts seamlessly, was the calm voice and SO ORGANIZED in making sure that everyone knew where and when to be on the wedding day. One of the most important things she did was draft an incredibly detailed schedule for our vendors, wedding party and photographer so that all of our wishes were heard and executed perfectly. Jessica handled conversations with some that could have been difficult with such grace and efficiency. All of the above resulted in a beautiful wedding that our whole family and the bride and groom celebrated, all without the “wedding stress” of a very busy day. As MOB, I was truly able to be present in the moment. Best of all, Jessica is a lovely, kind person who truly cares about the brides and families that she serves. She was so easy to contact and very available for all of my many questions. I highly recommend her services and cannot imagine our daughter’s wedding without her!

Despite her title as a month-of coordinator, she worked with us in detail starting two months out and was always available for questions along the way during our 16-month-long engagement. We literally did not have to worry about a thing on wedding day! I always heard the saying "something will go wrong on your wedding day" and maybe it did, but I never noticed it. little did I know (at the time) how invaluable having her would be.
Not only did she pull together all the final details of our wedding absolutely perfectly (she's so well organized, you really won't have to think about ANY logistics day of), but she helped us navigate the uncharted waters that COVID-19 brought just a few weeks before our big day. Jessica remained calm and level headed as she presented us all of the options and talked through the pros and cons of each. She took many phone calls (and heard many tears) from me during this time, before and after work hours. This alone is something I cannot thank her enough for. She was truly our sounding board and confidant when it came to all things postponement: logistics, vendors, guest communication, and more. It was so incredibly helpful for us to have a third party, non-biased friend to discuss and navigate these decisions with.
On top of all of this, Jessica took it upon herself to communicate updates with our vendors as we worked to make our decision about postponing. She took the time to send several emails and make many phone calls to bounce available dates back and forth, in order to hopefully line up as many vendors as possible for our new date. The fact that Jessica took this off our shoulders during an emotional and stressful time truly shows how much she cares about her couples. To say she went above and beyond her role would be an understatement.
She is my right hand woman, my go-to, and is so incredibly easy to be around. I would recommend her 100x over. Hire Jessica and I promise it will be the best decision you make during the wedding planning process! We cannot wait to CELEBRATE with her in April 2021 at our wedding!!

You can text/email her anything wedding related and she will have an answer for you. Closer to the wedding, she was invaluable in keeping things organized and stress free. She will make you a timeline of the whole day so you know exactly what you need to do and where you need to be. She notices small things and will offer up advice on changes to make things easier. I was rarely stressed during the wedding planning process, and even less so the day of because of Jessica. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Jessica - she deserves it. I hired Jessica almost a year before the wedding as my coordinator and really started working with her at the 90 day mark. I wanted to plan the wedding and really needed her for the final details and day of, especially since I moved out of state in the summer. Jessica is caring, but tough and can lay the hammer down - which you will need!! She had the tough conversations with me about details of what needed to happen, the seating chart, the timeline, vendors, etc. She always gave me options and let me pick what I wanted at the end of the day.
The last month everything was in Jessica's hands and it went perfectly! I can't think of one issue that she didn't plan for in advance or handle so it became a non-issue for me. Not only is she tough, she is genuinely a good person. Things got a little tense when my mom & sister & aunt were trying to bustle my dress quickly and she knew I was stressed - she assured me that everything was good, was very calming, and got me a drink! She was always checking in on me and my husband, guiding us, and making sure through all the craziness of the wedding that we were with each other and enjoying each other. I am so thankful for Jessica and her constant communication! I will honestly miss talking to her everyday!

It made it so wonderful for me as the bride to know that everything was being handled. I could focus my efforts on last minute details and just enjoying the process. A week before our wedding, the weather was looking grim. Jessica called us to talk through options and we decided to go with a tent. We talked to her the morning before we were flying to Dallas. They literally thought of everything. There wasn't a cloud in the sky when we started the ceremony but out of no where it rained as soon as the ceremony ended. Wedding day. But she also told me that I should be aware that people's real personalities come out on wedding days and it can cause problems. As much as I thought I was prepared for that to happen, I really wasn't. And when "other's" opinions and directions and panic attacks started, Jessica was absolutely excellent at 1) protecting the bride from any negativity 2) directing me, as the MOB on how to deal with situations 3) putting out the fires. Even so late in the game, she made time to spend two hours with my daughter, and me, worked out a very specific timeline for the day, coordinated with all our vendors for delivery and set-up, handled the rehearsal, and stayed with us to handle most of the tear-down. I was free to completely enjoy my daughter's wedding day, and be present, both in mind and body, for every moment. If you're on the fence about whether you need a day-of coordinator, let me just push you off and tell you to call Jessica. She's worth every penny.

My wedding was a destination wedding and Jessica worked within my budget and tailored her services to what I really needed. I booked and planned a lot of my wedding because I knew exactly what I wanted, but Jessica was always there to provide insight for all of my vendor contracts, what to ask for, what to expect, etc. She has so much experience working with wedding vendors, who can sometimes be difficult, but with her on my team I always felt confident. Jessica and I worked together to come up with a weekend of itinerary which included a lot of setup on her part and she nailed it! We had a lot going on with koozies, party favors, cupcake tables, centerpiece decorations, down the aisle decorations, etc and everything was perfectly placed. She even brought in our outdoor flowers from the ceremony in to the reception building to get more use out of the beautiful bouquets! There are always some bumps for big events, we had hired a shuttle to bring all of our family to the ceremony and they were 45 minutes late, so our wedding was delayed getting started. But Jessica was in the bridal suite with me keeping me calm and provided updates because she was on the phone with the driver. And even though we got started late, she is an expert with time management and we were caught up with almost everything in no time...so we could spend maximum time dancing!
