Lovecraft Events went above and beyond for our wedding this past weekend. They embraced the challenge of our outdoor woodsy venue and elevated it with flawless execution. The reception space looked incredible, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The audio setup was spot-on across the ceremony, dinner, and reception spaces - clear mics, no hiccups, no volume issues, just seamless sound. The music was exactly what we had hoped for, blending our requests with the perfect vibe at cocktail hour, during dinner, and out on the dance floor. Huge thanks to our DJ, Pressha (Matt), who read the crowd perfectly and kept the energy high all night long. And finally, Joe was an absolute standout MC and day-of coordinator all rolled into one. He kept everything flowing effortlessly, stepped in whenever we needed him, and made sure our guests always knew where to be. From planning through the big day, his energy, passion, and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind.

As the groom, I can’t say enough about how incredible our experience was with Lovecraft Events and especially Joe as our DJ/Emcee. It’s been a month since our wedding, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to put into words just how wonderful Joe made our day. I’m still in awe of how perfectly everything flowed and how stress-free he made the entire night. On top of that, our guests are still giving us compliments about how fun and seamless the evening felt — and that was in part, thanks to Joe. From the very beginning, his attention to detail, clear communication, and professionalism made us feel confident we were in great hands. Joe even took the time to travel out to our venue at Saltwater Farms ahead of time just to get a feel for the space and logistics. That level of care and preparation gave us so much peace of mind, and it absolutely showed on the big day. The flow of the night could not have been smoother. From start to finish, Joe made sure every moment felt natural and perfectly timed. His ability to read the room, keep energy high, and direct the flow of the evening was absolutely invaluable. We truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help guide our special day. Hiring Joe was worth every penny and more. Working with Joe and Lovecraft Events was a highlight of our wedding planning experience; they brought a level of professionalism, organization, and energy to our event that made it a breeze to plan and a special night for everyone involved. We contracted Joe and his team to DJ our wedding at Willow’s Lodge (the space caters to groups of 80-100). With the mid tier package the reception space and dance floor looked amazing. Synchronized light displays, stage, and speaker layout all contributed to a top notch production experience for our guests. Another stand out facet of working with Lovecraft Events is the quality and expertise with which they mic participants during the ceremony itself. Joe came with options, back-ups, and double-backups such that no matter the conditions everyone would be heard loud and clear. While we did not purchase day-of coordination with Joe, he utilizes an app for coordinating the announcements and music selection that was immensely helpful. We found him to be a prompt and organized vendor that was easy to work with and integrated seamlessly with the rest of our event staff as well. On top of all this, Joe is an absolute blast to work with, he clearly loves music and loves DJ’ing. We came to him with an eclectic playlist of music that ranged from 80s rock, to 90s country, to electro-swing and dubstep. He mixed everything to keep people on the dance floor and having a great time. When you book with Lovecraft Events, you are receiving not just a comprehensive technical package, but a team that loves music and understands how to transport a crowd through an evening of celebration.

Joseph Miller and Lovecraft Events, whom we found on The Knot, stood out among several other DJs and musical bringings. Joseph not only replied immediately to any of my inquiries but also showed a genuine willingness to bring my ideas to life. This made me feel heard and understood. His prices were absolutely perfect, and his creativity added a unique touch to our event. Joseph was not only easy to talk to and plan with, but he also made the entire process stress-free. His high motivation and enjoyment of what he does were evident, which reassured us that we were in good hands. We were so happy to be working with him. On the day of the wedding, he was there super early, set up all the equipment, and ran through the timeline with me and my day-of coordinator. The music was awesome, and everything happened according to schedule. Like every wedding, there were a few hiccups throughout the day, but Joseph handled them exceptionally well, and they were honestly no big deals. When it came time for dancing, he played terrific music that got everyone up and dancing throughout the night. He and his staff are excellent, and I HIGHLY recommend Lovecraft events to everyone!

These guys are amazing! Joe Miller is incredibly professional, organized, and FUN to work with! He offers a lot of different service packages depending on your budget, but is also happy to customize a package for you based on your needs. We chose DJ, MC, up-lighting for our venue space and Day-Of- Coordination and they rocked it! Joe introduced himself to all our guests and family members, made sure all family members were accounted for before beginning each phase (ceremony, grand entrance, speeches, etc) and kept great communication with us throughout the day. The lighting was beautiful and matched my wedding colors spot on, and the dance party was a huge blast! Joe always responded promptly and kindly to all communication emails and texts, and met with us via Zoom meeting to go over day-of schedule and details. I am so grateful to Joe and his team for making our wedding absolutely magical, and recommend him to absolutely everyone.

Joseph and Matt were absolutely 100% the reason that our wedding went off without a single hitch! They took care of all of our music needs (from pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music and dancing the night away) AND Emdee'd the entire event keeping everyone on track and where they needed to be in a delightful manner. All of my guests commented on what an incredible job they did. Also, the App they had us use to put a detailed timeline in place was so easy to use and super user friendly. It had thoughtful questions for us to fill out for each step of the wedding day, and super easy music/song recommendation for each step for us to pick and choose from, or upload our own, or even invite guests to contribute. Joe and Lovecraft events are awesome. The whole crew is extremely well organized and made the entire planning process actually enjoyable instead of a chore- everyone was just fun to interact with. They worked with us every step of the way and made sure that they got the vibe for our wedding, and Joe was great at corralling people while Matt (DJ Pressha) kept the energy up and everyone danced the entire reception. We contracted their photo booth as well which was a huge hit with our guests. We can’t imagine a better planning and day of experience, and we would highly recommend Lovecraft Events to anyone looking for a professional but fun crew for their event!

Joseph and the Lovecraft crew are a fantastic group to work with. They were so incredibly organized which made planning so much easier! We used an app with them that we all had access to, so as we decided on times, songs, and events during the wedding and reception, they were updated in real time. It made our day so efficient and made it so they knew exactly what we wanted the day off without having to explain. We appreciate them both so much and have recommended them to our couple friends that are currently engaged. You won’t be disappointed!!!
