We can not emphasis enough on the professionalism and support of Libby throughout the entire wedding experience. This was a destination wedding and we had many questions that Libby was able to answer quickly as well as putting us at ease. Her communication was impeccable as she left out no detail answered all phone calls and responded to numerous emails. Libby worked so closely with us to tailor our ceremony exactly the way we imagined. Libby even worked closely with my daughter to edit her reading so that it was delivered in an endearing manner. We received so many compliments about our ceremony and the choice of words spoken by Libby. We are a blended family and Libby was able to incorporate our children into the ceremony seamlessly. I could have not asked for a better genuine caring professional such as Libby.

Love joy weddings was the perfect choice for us. We did a destination wedding so our first time meeting Libby was over the phone and just by the first call we knew that she was the one to marry us. We never had any questions of what was expected of us that day as she had prepared us well. Always full of support and advice when we needed it.

Deb was outstanding! I really appreciated the time and attention she gave to our ceremony. The readings were perfect and we appreciated her willingness to really adapt our ceremony to be as intimate as we had hoped. The ring warming was the perfect touch!

Libby did a great job at our ceremony and even met up with us and we talked on the phone several times before the wedding! She was always very pleasant to work with and she did an awesome job on our ceremony! She helped us with our vows, readings, and even helped us think of a unique unity ceremony! Libby was amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. She is beautifully well spoken and delivered such a wonderful ceremony. She incorporated a Filipino wedding tradition, the Cord and Veil ceremony, seamlessly. We received many compliments on her words. She gave us great resources on writing our vows, and made sure we had them done on time. As New Yorkers, we thought we may have trouble finding a completely non- religious officiant in the South and Libby was our answer.

I am so incredibly happy Libby married us. I had so many comments from our guests that they felt like she really captured who we were in our ceremony. She was so incredibly helpful when picking readings and personal touches and touched on topics that were very important to us.

Libby was such a gracious and gently soul that conducted our ceremony. She met with us twice prior to get a feel for who we were and what we wanted and tailored our service to incorporate the ice cream shop where I first met my wife (also where we said our vows) as well as acknowledging our daughter’s presence and impact on our union. Libby was wonderful! She made everything easy. She was really nice and helped us write our vows and pick readings by giving us examples and guidelines. She sent us a draft of the ceremony so we could approve it or suggest edits. The ceremony was beautiful and she gave us a beautiful booklet with the ceremony and our vows in it.

Libby was so welcoming and very easy to work with on such short notice. (She only had two weeks.) Our original officiant canceled last minute, and Libby stepped in and made our ceremony feel special and unique. She guided us through the entire ceremony and even provided booklets with our customized vows. She was punctual, patient and kind. We lived three hours from our venue, so she scheduled Facetime video calls to discuss the details and overall organization of the ceremony. It really paid off and you can tell she is passionate about her work. We are so thankful that we chose Lovejoy Weddings.

Libby was an absolute pleasure to work with! I told he it was a surprise to renew our vows for our 30th Anniversary and she kept it on the down low until the very minute. I was not familiar with Nashville so I let her pick the location and just met her there and it was perfect.

Libby is AMAZING! and even that word doesn't say enough. My fiancè (at the time) and I reside in GA so it was alittle nerve wrecking to shop for vendors in another state, in which we would wed(TN). I relied on "TheKnot" for the first time to helping me find someone to officiate our elopement wedding. I came across Lovejoy Wedding and said "well this one seems legit and the name is catchy". I took a deep breath and called. I'm so glad I took that chance! From the first conversation Libby and I had, I knew I was making the right decision having her be a part of such a special event that I would cherish forever. Libby was very in touch with my wishes and suggestive to ideas to help me create a memorable ceremony. She was accomadating, passionate, experienced and warming! It was a pleasure to have Libby as our officiant. Her communication was great, easy to work with, open to what we wanted, and accommodating. We highly recommend her as your officiant!!

The pre planning was wonderful and we felt we connected well with Libby and Deb, they were also very accommodating with our plans. However, when it came time for the ceremony, Deb (whom I get the sense is fairly new) had one of our guests sign the marriage certificate as a witness without asking or confirming we would be comfortable, which we weren’t-that was to be reserved for a signifigant family member. I’m still very upset about this because it’s the copy that’s on record forever and we missed a moment to capture on camera this important time between us and my family. She didn’t realize how significant this was and didn’t even acknowledge or apologize. Additionally, after the ceremony (which in itself was beautiful), I messaged her to thank her for her time and she proceeded to tell me she wrote the wrong date on our keepsake marriage certificate, and to correct it I would have to mark it out with a sharpie. Again, a very big mistake and I insisted this was not okay. She did correct it at the clerk and mailed a new and corrected copy, but it was just a very stressful moment compounded on the fact that she had a random person sign our marriage certificate without my knowledge or permission. I would caution you to make sure these details are not overlooked or that you seek out Libby as your officiant. I’ll never be able to get that moment back and have some serious heartburn about it being a permanent error.

Libby did such an amazing job with our wedding ceremony. From the moment we met her we felt at ease about the whole process and really helped us to have a truly unique and personal ceremony. Everyone at our wedding commented on what a great officiate we had, and she did such an awesome job incorporating our Persian elements into our ceremony through the Honey Tasting ritual. The whole process with her was comfortable and professional . Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great ceremony officiate.

It was such a pleasure to have Libby as our officiant. As a same sex couple it can be challenging when it comes to finding an officiant. We were happy that we found her and that she was willing to come to Hendersonville. Libby used the meetings we had to get to know us and lay out how the ceremony will go. She is very easy to talk to and listens to how you see your ceremony. We love how she took aspects of our relationship and created a unique introduction. It was so eloquently worded and very personal. We even have a book that has her portion and our vows.  

We absolutely LOVED working with Libby. From the moment we first met her we knew she was going to be a perfect fit!!! We wanted to incorporate having our own vows as well as handfasting into our ceremony. Libby helped us with the timeline and flow of the ceremony so that everything ran smoothly and it turned out wonderfully. Libby is honest, funny, professionally and just an overall JOY to be around :) We are so happy to have had her be part of our special day!!!

Libby married my wife and I in a small last minute ceremony in Nashville in August. To say she has a gift is a vast understatement. Libby created the absolute perfect ceremony for us having never met us in person before our wedding day. She has an intuitive way with words I have never witnessed before and the vows she prepared for us were phenomenal. Our elopement was perfect for many reasons, but Libby's involvement was key. Libby was amazing. We were from out of state and she made the process easy. She was very professional and made our wedding feel personal with only meeting us moments before the I Dos. I'd recommend her over and over again!

Libby was amazing to work with. My husband and I wanted a very progressive and non-religious ceremony. We wanted someone who was very open to those ideas and someone who would not turn away couples for marrriage because of prejudice, both those we face and those others face. It was a challenge to find someone at first, but when we found Libby we were very happy. She fit all of those qualifications and went above and beyond. She helped us to craft the ceremony we wanted and helped us to make it unique to us, with a wine box ceremony and crafting our own vows. We would highly recommend her.

Libby officiated our elopement at Percy Warner Park. We had planned on a courthouse wedding, but only realized after settling on dates and booking honeymoon plans that the courthouse was way booked up. Thank goodness I came across Libby's website. Everything was so easy to set up. She was there waiting for us when we arrived at the park and performed a lovely ceremony with beautiful vows. I actually forgot to ask her about the vows before hand, but was so happy with the ones she used. Would recommend Libby for any wedding of any size. And if you are planning to elope or have a small wedding like us, you couldn't do better

Libby was absolutely wonderful! She prepared a lovely civil ceremony for my husband and me, which fit us perfectly. She was on time for every meeting and kept in contact so we knew exactly what to expect. She was kind and caring and made sure our ceremony was one we would remember. She even gave us a personal booklet with our readings, as well as, making sure our license and certificate of marriage was filed with the court clerk. We would highly recommend her and her services especially if you are not looking for a traditional religious ceremony.

Libby is wonderful! We are from Michigan but got married in Nashville, so planning from a distance was a challenge. Libby made it easy - we had a couple of calls with her and she sent us many resources to consider. In the end, we crafted the ceremony with her guidance and our day was wonderful. She is an amazing, loving officiant.
