We were planning our wedding from across the country and we were only going to be in the DC area 2-3 times before our wedding. We set up a time and date a little more than a month...
before our next trip to DC to pick up a cake tasting box. We literally planned our whole trip around meeting Michelle. When the time came to pick up our box, she ghosted us and ignored our phone calls. We were left scrambling on the last couple of days of our trip to find a bakery for our wedding cake. I would be hesitant to trust her if you're needing to book for a special event.
Michelle was great to work with, very responsive and understood our understated vision. She was flexible and allowed us to have two tastings, the first with a to-go box and the sec...
ond in person to finalize our flavors. We ended up settling on two flavors, a lemon cake with raspberry buttercream and a carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Both were delicious!
I can not say enough good things about Michelle and her company! Sadly, my little sister had to cancel her wedding at the last minute due to COVID-19. She then decided that she wou...
ld have a small, immediate family wedding (10 people) in less than 2 weeks! Not only was Michelle able to make her wedding cake and deserts (A huge task for any bakery to take on with less than 2 weeks notice), she was able to recreate from a picture EXACTLY what my sister wanted! Everything was delivered on time, was absolutely beautiful, and delicious!! You can not go wrong with this vendor!
Our wedding cake was so beautiful!
Our cake and cupcakes were amazing!!!! The taste was incredible and the designs were perfect for our rock and roll wedding. Amazing company to work with and super friendly and easy...
to communicate with! Our cake was amazing and our cup cakes had Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd on them. Truly amazing in every way. Will definitely order from them again for other parties in the future!
Michelle made us the BEST cake! It was beautiful and so tasty! The entire process of booking Michelle was incredibly easy. She went out of her way to meet us close to my husbands ...
office. Once we met Michelle and tasted her yummy samples, we knew she was the one for us! Along the planning road, the initial design we discussed didn't really fit the way our wedding was going to play out. I shot a quick email to Michelle with a picture asking if it was too late to discuss a new design, she immediately replied "no problem" and created the most beautiful cake that completely tied everything together. I will be calling LoveLe Sweets for birthday's and anniversary's for years to come!
Michelle is a cake master! Whether you know exactly the type of cake you want, or have very little idea like I did, she will make your cake dreams come true. I wanted something pre...
tty plain, and she kept it simple while making it beautiful and memorable. Please let Michelle make your cake!
Michelle was absolutely fantastic. To start with, the cake tasting was stress free, she met us by our offices prepared with samples of frosting and cake. She also let us take home...
all the yummy samples.
Our cake ended up being amazing. It was an oreo infused vanilla cake with a vanilla frosting...so good!! She also made us blondies and brownies, which were a big hit. She did our favors too, alfajores, which were kind of hard to find here. My Chilean friend was very impressed! She also made the favor tag, and boxed up all the favors with a nice bow.
Michelle is a great communicator and dedicated -- she got a flat on the way to our venue but still delivered our desserts! Everything was beautiful and tasty, I highly recommend LoveLe Sweets!
