The good:
When in the salon, the staff was friendly. They accommodated my wedding timeline. They were available when other salons had already been booked for my date. The salon was...
beautiful and we were allowed to bring in food and drink to snack on on the wedding morning.
The bad:
Communication was horrible. I would need to ask the same question 5 times to get an answer. I couldn’t get on a phone call to talk over my needs. They would only communicate via a strange app.
I loved my wedding trial. I felt listened to. The hair and makeup was perfect. When it came to the actual day, they didn’t take any notes at all from the trial. My hair turned out completely different and nothing at all like I wanted. I specifically didn’t want much hair in my face, and now all of my wedding photos have huge chunks of curls hanging in my face. The makeup skipped priming steps that were highlighted in the trial. My trial was only a few weeks before the wedding day, so this was really frustrating.
They did a great job - hair and makeup was perfect. Very accommodating and supportive, wonderful people to work with!
Mena and her ladies are so talented!! We had on-site hair and makeup at a very reasonable price and travel fee. Everyone was so kind and easy to work with.

l shout out to Mena for the amazing job she did on my bridal nails and my makeup! I don't wear makeup much and she made me look and feel beautiful in many ways without overdoing it! She made me feel as natural as possible with an added touch of beauty! She was super polite, helpful and gentle! She made sure I was comfortable during and after the results. I couldn't have asked for more. She was also able to cover up my weird tan lines on my shoulders that I couldn't get rid of before my big day! You couldn't even tell in any of my photos that they existed previously or that they were even covered up at all with makeup. The makeup never brushed off onto anyone either so that was amazing as I was nervous it might come off. Andrea did a fantastic job on my hair too! I never do much with my hair and omg she made it look fabulous! I loved the twist she added to the look I was going for and how she was able to make my hair look exactly how I wanted it. I had many, many compliments on my hair and makeup. My husband REALLY loved it! ALL OF IT! 🙂 ❤ I was VERY pleased with how all my bridesmaids and my mother and MIL looked too. I seriously had the most beautiful women to be a part of my special day! This salon is also fair with prices and you can't beat it. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for bridal hair and makeup or even prom/special events as I am sure they are GREAT at all of it! Thank you Lovely Beauty Bar and staff for ALL your help and making my day even more special with your perfect added perfection!
