Lovely beauty KC

ok and felt like a more glam version of myself, which was what I wanted. Five of us had our makeup done, and Tai took great care with each person, especially my sister who has very sensitive skin and my mom whose makeup preferences were more specific. We also loved the touch-up kits provided for each of us. Tai was open to feedback both during my bridal trial and on the wedding day itself (pictures of my trial attached - realized I didn't take a good plain make up shots on the day of). Since I don’t have much experience with makeup terminology, it took us a little longer to get to what I wanted for my eye makeup and lip color. Tai was very accommodating as we adjusted a few things together. Looking back, I think seeing some colors swatched directly on my skin earlier in the process could have helped, especially since as a non-expert, it felt like we were on different pages trying to communicate. However, that probably isn’t specific to Lovely Beauty and would’ve been the case with myself and any make up artist. In any case, Tai’s willingness to collaborate and make adjustments was appreciated. Additionally, the Lovely Beauty Team was responsive to my emails and easy to work with throughout the planning process, and I would absolutely recommend them to other brides.

s 8 others on day of the wedding and everyone loved it! She listened to the inspo and everyone’s hair was done so well. It stayed in all night long too which is always a plus. Bekah was so kind day off and she felt like part of the wedding party. Thank you Bekah! Amanda did everyone’s makeup and she was perfection!! I (the bride) never wear makeup and she made me look so natural yet so beautiful. Amanda also felt like she was part of the wedding day and everyone loved their makeup. Thank you Amanda!!

the look of my dreams! They also did an incredible job with our wedding party. The Lovely Beauty team was very responsive to our requests and I really appreciate the transparent pricing (and discount for paying up front!).

10/10, would recommend.

and makeup trial with Bekah, and I highly recommend doing one to get a feel for what you’d like. We all thought Bekah and Riley did an excellent job with their services on the wedding day. They were both so kind, professional, and efficient. Everyone who had their hair and makeup done was so happy with the results. And everyone looked stunning! I highly recommend Lovely Beauty KC for all your hair and makeup needs.

child down for a nap and he wasn’t having it and my makeup artist, Sophia was super patient and sweet about the whole thing! Even holding my baby while getting my makeup done she was supportive. I didn’t get a chance to talk to Ana but my bridesmaids loved her and I heard her engaging in good conversation with them! Everyone looked beautiful!

e I felt good about the style I chose during the trial and gave me recommendations for extensions to purchase when I said I wanted to add some for the day of the wedding. Day of the wedding, they were on time and ahead of schedule! They finished up 10 people's hair in no time at all. All the moms and my girls felt beautiful in their hairdos and they all lasted throughout the day into the night. I highly recommend them and their services!

use the salon I had originally booked had told me after three trials that my hair just wasn't capable of doing the waves that I wanted, and Madilyn saved the day. On Instagram I saw that Madilyn did the hair of someone I knew from college, so I DMd her. She had me come in for a trial about a week later, and she absolutely nailed the waves...My hair looked exactly like I had envisioned it! On the day of my wedding, Madilyn was kind enough to work me in before a wedding she already had scheduled. She got up and drove all the way to Ottawa, KS to spend an hour doing my hair for my wedding to then turn around and drive an hour to her next wedding. Madilyn did an amazing job on my hair on my wedding day and it made me feel so confident and beautiful. Both times that Madilyn did my hair she really took her time to ensure it turned out perfect. In addition to looking beautiful, my hair was still beautifully wavy the next day (despite rain after my trial and heat/humidity on the day of my wedding). Madilyn is so talented, kind and very fun to be around. I cannot recommend Madilyn enough!

nfidence in my decision to hire this service. The price was reasonable and the salon offers different payment options. The MUAs were incredibly professional, patient and talented woman! Me and my wedding party felt free to make requests or changes comfortably. They made us look so beautiful on my special day! I couldn't have been happier with their work and would definitely recommend them to other people.

my hair during the trial to achieve the best result. She truly took the best notes and the time where I felt sooo valued as a bride. During the day of the wedding, I was a little hesitant with the volume of my hair, but she kept working with me until I was super happy. Also, everyone got their hair done, and EVERYONE’S hair had stayed in place despite me having a 10 hour day. Truly remarkable work by Lovely Beauty KC

cial day! I rarely wear makeup, but I couldn't even tell I had it on. Gaby truly just enhanced my natural look just like I wanted. Leah made my hair look absolutely perfect. I am so glad I chose them to do hair and makeup for my big day!

eir best and tried to get everyone done as fast as possible. It still was not done on time and cut into our photography time in the morning. I understand that life happens but it would have been appreciated to have an apology from the artists or the owner who I was emailing. I am a very anxious person with high anxiety and it made the morning more stressful than necessary. They did do a good job with my makeup and hair but I hope they are more punctual with other brides so they don’t go through the same stressful experience.

our wedding day!

I wanted, which in the end didn’t feel like *me*. I reached out to gaby asking to make changes on the big day but she had me come in for a second trial. She explained that she wanted me to be excited about my look for the big day! She listened to my concerns & made changes that I was in love with 🤍 I definitely recommend doing a trial for your hair & makeup, there are so many choices to make as a bride & this helped me feel solid about my decisions! On the big day gaby & her team were on time, professional, and a joy to have with us while we got ready. They added to such a positive atmosphere that I’m grateful for!
