ue to the "hard sell" she and a colleague suddenly tried to strong arm me into at my second try on appointment. The attitude was essentially, "You love it? Great! What's your CC number?," then telling me I had 24 hours to "decide" and make the 70% deposit payment. Really off-putting, especially when I still felt as though I had a lot of questions that they hadn't taken the time to answer fully or with consideration. It was strange since to that point, Anesha had been really helpful and informative. Not sure if this is a selling tactic they're told to use by corporate? At any rate, it's not effective - they lost the sale because of it.

The shop still found a way to make things a fun and nice experience with champagne too despite the COVID times in a safe way. Nice job, Lovely!

but she was able to guide me to the dresses I liked the best. Even my mom and fiance's mother said it was amazing that she could take a comment of "I like that..." and select a dress that looked amazing on me. Even though I didn't end up buying my dress here (my second favorite was at Lovely Bride) I was blown away by the amazing experience I had - even with the pandemic. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this bridal salon.

he day of, I went with my parents and we were in our own private fitting room. Samantha slowly brought over the dresses in my wishlist and helped me get in and out of each dress- she did not pressure me in the order of the dresses I tried on and at one point offered a veil and a small bouquet of flowers to add to the look! HOW AMAZING! With that being said, I tried on about 10 dresses- my final two Samantha asked if I was interested in trying on the dresses multiple times to help decide. I left lovely with the one!! Prior to leaving, allll my measurements were made, Samantha also allowed me to be involved in finalizing the size of my dress because I was in between sizes which I appreciated! Would totally recommend, not your typical bridal store. I felt comfortable from the minute I walked in to the minute I left!

I had it on. Epiphany then took all of that information to bring me two dresses that weren’t even on my original wishlist—-they ended up being my favorite dresses out of 9 I tried on! I’m pretty sure one of the two will be my dress, but I didn’t feel ready to make a decision just yet. Epiphany respected what I said and I didn’t feel pressure to commit to a dress like I have at other shops. I can’t recommend Lovely Bride and Epiphany enough. I had a great time and Epiphany definitely elevated the entire experience!! I can’t wait to return to Lovely.

iful. This is NOT a traditional, stuffy bridal store by any stretch. I arrived by myself, anxious to go dress shopping alone, as my best friend and I did not find anything the week before while shopping together with multiple appointments across Chicago. That being said, my stylist Samantha was absolutely wonderful. She was calm, encouraging, and so helpful, allowing me to try on multiple dresses, walk around in them, and even took photos that I sent to my mom and my best friend. We tried gowns on at a pace that was not overwhelming, and I ended up finding not one, but TWO dresses that I was completely in love with! (So hard to choose!) On top of that, before we even started, I spoke with Samantha about the vibe of our garden-party-themed event, and she helped me find dresses that would not only be beautiful, but appropriate for the nature of our wedding. Her vision and knowledge of the dresses at Lovely Bride was incredibly helpful in making the process easy, seamless, and fun! Side Note: I had never tried peach-flavored sparkling rose before that appointment, and it was a fantastic choice. If you are looking for a dress that is modern, beautiful, and (dare I say?!) intellectual, the dresses and designers at Lovely Bride will not disappoint. This was absolutely one of the most amazing, accommodating bridal experiences I had, and am so appreciative of Samantha and the team at Lovely Bride.

I haven’t decided if I’ll be buying mine yet from Lovely Bride (deciding between one from there and one from another store) but I am still screaming from the rooftops about everything this store has to offer.

I found my DREAM DRESS during a trunk show for an Italian designer- the girl helping me, whose name escapes me, told me that I would be the only one in the country with this dress! She was a huge help. She gave advice and her opinion, but didn't push more expensive dresses on me that were out of my budget. Lovely Bride Chi also has the BEST recommendations for tailors. I moved to San Francisco and needed my dress tailored there. I was so worried they wouldn't be able to recommend a tailor there. I called their store, and they pulled up their list of tailors in SF! Since purchasing my dress at Lovely Bride Chi, I have since sent multiple people there to buy their dream dresses- and they have found them there!! 11/10 would recommend.

I instantly knew it was the one but thought too good to be true. The stylist was super nice and helpful & my mom, maid of honor, and myself had a great time trying on all types of dresses & sipping champagne. By the end, The Sienna was still the one and I couldn’t be happier! I ended up making a few alterations (at their requested tailor, also amazing) and love the way it turned out. Thank you, Lovely!

y first and only place I found the perfect dress. They have a variety of options for every Bride in the upmost high quality. They do not judge you and only make you feel beautiful. I tried on 2 dresses and found my dress. The staff was extremely attentive, kind, and offered advice regarding everything I did not know about purchasing a wedding dress. If you would not like any intimidation from the “Michigan Avenue esqué” stores, along with extremely high quality dresses, this is your place. They are the only place I would recommend in the Chicago area for any bride. They treat you like a Princess without feeling pressured. They provided me my dream beach barefoot bride dress and I am forever grateful.

It wasn't before long until I found the one and am so happy with my purchase!! They have a wide range of styles with varied prices so theres something for everyone. They have a little suite for you and your groups and give you champagne, my family and I had so much fun! I highly recommend for any bride looking for a unique gown for their day.

I was totally detached from the entire wedding dress shopping experience on an emotional level...but the chic-ness of the shop, the beyond gorgeous boho dresses, the kindness/expertise of the staff (looking at you, Caroline and Olivia!), and the peach bubbly they served literally brought me to tears of joy when I said "yaaaass" to my perfect dress! They were friendly and accommodating to my large group, and we all had a lot of fun in my appointment. They have a range of gowns from simple to boho to lace details to dreamy tulle. Definitely recommend an appointment here. I even left with a handwritten note from my consultant with the details of my favorite dress and what I liked about it. Great to walk away with after a weekend packed with multiple appointments and too many dresses to count.

I got to work with Heather, the salon owner, and she was a dream to work with. She took me through all of the gowns by designer, getting my thoughts on all of them. They have a really nice selection! Once we were done with that, she started pulling ones I had liked and some she felt were up my alley based on what I had told her I was into. She was really great about taking my feedback (as well as the groups’), narrowing down the selection based on that, and overall just a joy to chat with and spend the hour with! She never rushed me, even when we were coming up to the end of our appointment time and totally gushing over our the top choice for maybe a few minutes too long. Overall - we really enjoyed the whole experience and I’d recommend this spot to anyone on your hunt.

There were other brides there trying on dresses but the set up of the store allows for a very private experience, which I appreciated! I cannot recommend Lovely Bride or Maura enough and I can't wait to come back to try to narrow down my top picks to a final choice!

She made me feel incredibly comfortable and excited throughout my appointment. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of Morgan. We showed up to our appointment 30 minutes early and she took us in with stride and a smile on her face! Morgan helped me to find the dress of my dreams that I never could have imagined but now can’t imagine my wedding without. Overall, Lovely Bride has a beautiful space, great staff, and a very unique selection of dresses that you won’t find anywhere else. THANK YOU for the overwhelmingly positive experience!

lt any pressure. Morgan was so kind and attentive and I truly felt she was my advocate throughout the process, making it much less overwhelming. She asked me questions that helped guide me to the dress of my dreams (which happened to be the least expensive dress I tried). At no point did it ever feel salesy - Morgan took care of my whole crew! Better yet, she was really great at pinning the dress so you could get a great visual of the actual fit.

kily, I found an amazing gown here with the rush option available. My Lovely stylist wasn’t all that informative, often times relying on the other stylists to explain things or give me a quick confidence boost but I had a crew of my own to help with that part so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Everything was otherwise pretty smooth and I was happy with my experience! In the end there was a hiccup with the designer and after some panic - my dress didn’t arrive until a week before my wedding!! The Lovely team was apologetic (and probably very grateful that I was such a chill bride) and were able to give me an amazing tailor referral who was able to work their magic quickly. I'd recommend booking an appointment here - and also recommend shopping for your dress as early as possible!

picked up my dress, which I very much regret, but I am so thankful for all their help. Having been to several shops, I was already so frustrated that I hadn't found what I was looking for. They were so patient with me and found several styles for me to try on. found my most perfect dress, a Christos. There were portions of the dress I wasn't too sure about but the ladies at Lovely Bride helped me explore options and things I can alter on the dress to make it most "me". I am so thankful and would absolutely recommend Lovely Bride to all those future brides out there in Chicago. My only thing that I was a little bit sad about, was that a future bride friend of mine bought here dress at Lovely Bride also, and she posted a picture with a sign saying she found her dress. I wish I got a cute picture saying I found my dress! But all in all, wonderful experience.

tried on were filthy (other salons make you take shoes off..maybe they should try), which was off-putting. I went dress shopping 10 months before my wedding, so plenty of time to shop and order. I did not find the shop girls friendly or warm - the process for ordering and shipping was also very opaque. It is hard to put into words, but I truly did not enjoy working with the salon and think they have improvements to make when it comes to client interactions. If it wasn't for their selection and location, I would not have gone here at all.

Four months went by and after several calls and emails- by month five someone finally picked up and said that the rush order was not processed and I would get a refund for the rush order additional cost. There was no apology for this mistake and my dress ended up not coming in until 3 weeks before my wedding day (again they didn't call me when it was in, I had to call them). When I went to pick it up I tried to speak to someone about the issue and was abruptly dismissed by the salesclerk there who again made no apologies. I would not recommend getting a dress here with any type of time constraint as it added a lot of stress.

She also brought out a very simple veil that made the final look perfection! This entire experience was so much better than other bridal stores! ked door was not a very welcoming feeling to start off the appt. We were told to sit down and someone would be with us in a little while, 15 minutes after my appt was the start Barbara came to get us. She brought us back to the salon area where outlets were hanging off the wall. Not exactly what I expected from an upscale bridal salon. This was my first time trying in dresses and was very excited. She asked about my budget, which I would suggest to have your bridal consultants do in private instead of in front of everyone. I said my budget was around $2000. She brought me to the dress and stood there to tell me what the name of designer was, nothing about their styles or price range. I selected a few to try on and she brought a few of my selection back but not all of them. I am not a size 2 and the bridal consultant made me feel every drop of my size 16 frame. I left feeling like a size 26. Once in the room she took the dress off and handed it to me. She didn't help me one with any of them. She didn't provide any feedback or help select dresses. My group asked if they could look at dresses and help pick a few. She said yes but reminded us we only had until 3 since we are started at 2, which she was late to the start. They picked a few dresses however she never brought them back for me to try on even though we had plenty of time. At one point she was resting against the wall yawning as I stood there in a dress. I work in bridal sales for 5 and continue to work in sales. Sales is not a good fit for Barbara and certainly not bridal sales. While I am not a size 2 with a $10000 budget, I am a bride that wants to feel beautiful on her wedding day. I left your salon feeling awful about myself and very unexcited about shopping for wedding dresses in the future. I hope I'm the first to walk away feeling this way and the last but sadly don't think I am.
