Customer service stops as soon as you purchase the dress. I was not provided with any updates on the shipping date for my dress until the shipping window they had given me had alre...
ady passed- and ONLY when I emailed them with my concerns. My dress was about a month late and once it was delivered (with less than two months before my wedding) the earliest pickup window on the website was 2 weeks later, despite offering new bride appointments the very next day. My bridal portal was never updated with any statuses or even records of my dress purchase after the initial appointment. I ordered my dress in November, and when I reached out for a status update in early March for a status update they tried to gaslight me by telling me that they had communicated a March shipping date when I ordered the dress in January…. Except I didn’t order the dress in January, that was just the first time they informed me it was delayed and I was trying to stay calm. Their instructions tell you to wait until you have a shipping date to book alterations, but by the time they provided me with a shipping date, all of their top recommended shops were booked until my wedding month. It left me scrambling and out of options because they couldn’t be bothered to keep me updated on shipping and that my alterations would be minimal so I’d be fine. When this did not end up being true I had to buy an entirely new dress two weeks before my wedding so I’d have something to walk down the aisle in. All they offered was excuses and snark and took zero accountability. Check out the lower reviews on Google for the dismissive tone from the management and ownership. As long as you have no hiccups you might be fine, but this store will do nothing to help or even communicate if things go wrong. I was essentially told that I would be fine because my alterations would be minimal. Spoiler alert- I will not be able to wear my dress for my wedding in two weeks. Go to a shop with reviews about management that cares. Planning can be stressful as it is- relying on a bridal shop that is going to respond to issues dismissively and gaslight you when you express concerns is not worth it when there are so many other options. Or at the very least, get your shipping date and a commitment to communicate any delays in writing before you sign the contract, because they will misrepresent the contract terms to make a sale. The dress selection and attention during the initial appointment doesn't matter if you can't wear your gown in the end and makes the weeks leading up to your wedding more stressful.
I had the best experience with Katie at Lovely Bride! I went in not quite sure what I want, and she was amazing at pulling different styles for me until we found my dress! She was ...
so patient, welcoming and attentive, and made the day very fun and enjoyable for me and my guests! I visited two other dress stores, and Katie and Lovely Bride was by far the best!

nt and personalized. I didn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable. Very supportive and I even went back a second time with some of my bridal party after going originally with just my mom. I walked away one happy bride & now I am just waiting for my dress to come in. I will absolutely recommend this shop to others.
My experience at Lovely was truly exceptional! From the moment we walked in the door, I was greeted with excitement and a sense of being special, complete with a glass of Prosecco ...
in hand. Angela, the Manager, played a pivotal role in making this day unforgettable. She not only listened attentively but also asked thoughtful questions about my vision for the big day, and she exceeded my expectations.
The first dress I tried on turned out to be the one! Angela hand-picked every dress I tried, and she suggested that I explore other styles and fits, 'just to be sure,' ensuring that I would make the right choice. Even the dresses that weren't 'the ONE' made me feel like she truly understood my figure and vision.
What makes Lovely truly unique is that they don't work on a commission basis. Angela's focus was on helping me find 'the one,' and her genuine commitment shone through. We had the flexibility to explore dresses without sleeves, add sleeves, or even try a petticoat underneath to envision the perfect look for the big day.
In summary, my experience at Lovely was, without a doubt, delightful and unforgettable. I will forever cherish these memories.
I cannot begin to say enough positive things about Lovely Bride Providence. Prior to my appointment, I tried on dresses at another bridal boutique in Boston, and, while the experie...
nce there wasn’t awful, there were hardly any sample dresses that I could fit into, which made it really hard to visualize how the dress would actually look on me. At Lovely Bride Providence, almost, if not all of the dresses I chose to try on I was able to get into with minimal effort.
The atmosphere was welcoming, calming and private, as I was the only appointment during that time, which meant their attention was solely on me the entire time.
To save the best for last: my stylists Angela, Kerrie and Jean were incredibly attentive, kind, and really listened to my likes and wants brought me dresses that I actually wanted to try on. They each had such a calming, grounding presence and emphasized how they were there to help me pick the dress that I felt the most beautiful in.
Angela, the manager, was so kind, understanding and flexible and able to work with me around some of my indecisiveness. She’s also incredibly knowledgeable of the wedding business and a great resource!
I absolutely 100% recommend Lovely Bride Providence for all, but I especially recommend it for those with curvier/ larger bodies as that will absolutely change the experience for you.
Thank you so much Lovely Bride!
