Lovely Bride Rochester

Lovely Bride was the second salon I shopped at (the first was BHLDN). As a midsized bride, I wanted to ensure that I had a positive shopping experience with dresses I could fit into other than the standard size 8. The team here at Lovely was amazing! I wanted a clean crepe fitted dress and we found the perfect one within 6 dresses! The turnaround time was about 4 months and my exact stylist was scheduled with me to pick up my dress! We ordered a size up on her recommendation and the dress fit me like a GLOVE on pickup day! With very minimal alterations, it looked stunning. I HIGHLY recommend Lovely Bride to everyone!

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience here. I was definitely nervous about the wedding dress shopping experience but the staff put me at ease very early on into the process. Julia was fantastic and she helped me sort out my opinions and preferences while building up my confidence in my appearance and choices. She encouraged me to try on a dress that was totally different from the vision I had going in and that resulted in me finding a dress I loved that I never would have thought to try myself! If you have a super clear vision or no idea where to start, I highly recommend Lovely. It was such a wonderful and special experience for myself and my mom.

Looking for a wedding dress may seem overwhelming, but Lovely Bride Rochester was my first and only stop! Their highly creative team, filled my fitting room with these gorgeous dresses in an array of new styles, shapes and ideas that best suit what I was looking for! Their expertise made it so easy and comfortable for me while trying on these dresses, helping me narrow down all of the dresses to “THE ONE”. I truly felt like I was in the best hands and in an environment of positivity only. They were efficient and had everything so organized. My mother, mother in law and maid of honor and I had a great time with the girls who work there. They made the fitting fun, upbeat and an unforgettable experience for me. Would highly recommend.

This shop is definitely named appropriately, everything about the experience was lovely and I’m so glad I chose to get my dress here. Staff was amazing, welcoming, friendly, helpful and extremely supportive. And the dress selection is to die for

I cannot say enough about how great my experience was at Lovely Bride! I was very nervous going into all of this as I was coming in by myself since I am not a local and my family/loved ones are scattered across the country. On arrival, Julia was so incredibly understanding and accommodating. We were able to set up my video chat with all my people and it never once felt weird or uncomfortable. Additionally, Julia is just a fantastic human being in general. She listened to what I liked and didn't like and ended up picking my perfect dress when it wasn't even one I had initially picked out for myself! I never felt pressured and she did a great job of staying within my budget too. Incidentally, my fiancé also found her perfect dress from Lovely Bride as well. Both of us are thrilled with our experiences here and will absolutely be recommending them to everyone moving forward!

I would recommend Lovely Bride Rochester to anyone looking for a wedding dress. As a curvier girl, I was pretty nervous about the process of finding a dress. Some of my concerns included would the sample dresses even fit, would I feel judged, and how private would the dressing areas be? I am happy to say, the entire staff at Lovely made me feel so comfortable, welcome, and special. There were so many dress options for me to try on. The space was beautiful. And somehow my stylist, Debra, knew what I wanted even better than I did. We found the most beautiful dress and I am beyond excited to wear it in a few months. All in all, trying on dresses at Lovely was an incredibly special day that I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you Lovely!!

Kendall truly made my experience at Lovely Bride so special and amazing! I loved how much of a variety of dresses that they had, but she really helped me so much with narrowing down to my dream dress. Kendall was so helpful by really listening to me and understanding how I felt about each dress. I’ll never forget this day because of how special Kendall helped make it! The vibe inside the dressing room and store was so cozy and beautiful, and I just I felt so comfortable in there. I went to one other place to try on dresses after Lovely and my experience trying on dresses there just didn’t compare. My experience here was just absolutely phenomenal and I will never stop talking about it! I would 110% recommend looking for your dress here!

My experience with Lovely Bride was above and beyond! Julia and Savannah made sure I tried everything I could have imagined and helped me find the perfect dress! They were very professional and honest which I genuinely appreciated. I was comfortable the entire time which I had not experienced elsewhere! I never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision. I cannot say enough good things about Lovely Bride! I made an appointment the night before as a last minute thing, with no intention of leaving with a dress. However, I left with my dream wedding dress that I didn't even know was my dream wedding dress! Kendall was AMAZING, patient, kind and supportive. She listened to me and drew inspiration from my Pinterest, while also challenging the ideas and "rules" I had set for myself/my wedding dress. I struggle with body image issues and Kendall made me feel so beautiful. 1000000% recommend!

I feel like she just knew me and knew what I’d like, helping pick dresses for me to try on that weren’t necessarily in my look book. I worked with Kendall and had the best experience with her and the Lovely team! From being able to see what dresses were in store along with pricing was a huge benefit that allowed me to look for dresses that fit my budget. When stepping into Lovely, Kendall fully understood what I wanted, but also allowed me to try a few things out of my comfort zone - which was so much fun to see! There was no pressure for me to make a decision while I was there, but I knew I found my dress when I put it one. I could not recommend Lovely and Kendall enough for future brides!

I had a wonderful experience here. Kendall was so sweet and totally understood my vision. I felt comfortable and cared about. The store had a great vibe and all of the ladies there were super supportive and kind.

Amazing selection, it was so hard to pick just one. Julia graciously helped me during this process - I am not the most decisive person but Julia helped me find what I was looking for. I ended up picked a dress that I would not have picked myself had I seen it hanging on the hanger. Amazing environment, amazing lighting, amazing dresses. Would go back again and again if I could <3

I had an incredible experience at Love Bride! Kendall was phenomenal, she really listened to what I was envisioning and gave great insight to try on some different things that I wasn't originally planning and it ended up in me saying Yes! This was my 2nd stop to try on dresses and I'm so happened I was told to try them after coming from a not so great first experience. I will be telling anyone who asks to go to Lovely Bride. I had the most wonderful experience at Lovely Bride Rochester - I could not say enough positive things about it! It was my first dress appointment, but I had a vision for what I wanted. My stylist, Kendall, made sure I tried on a variety of styles/fits to confirm what I liked. I was even surprised how much I loved some of the unexpected dresses that she pulled. Kendall understood my body language and picked up on my personality which lead to her asking the right questions. She also gave us space when she could tell we needed it. I ended leaving the salon a very happy bride with a gown - all because of Kendall! Thank you so much, team Lovely! The experience was everything that I hoped for!

Going into wedding dress shopping, I pitied the consultant paired with me. I knew I was going to be self-conscious and indecisive. Lovely Bride was my second stop and I didn’t know anything about the dress I wanted, but within five minutes of my appointment, I knew Julia was going to help me find it. She listened to my preferences and professionally advised on fabric, shapes, details I might want to try-on. She respected our budget and supported us throughout the process from purchase to post-wedding cleaning and storage advice.

Julia & Kendall at Lovey Bride Rochester were both extremely helpful when it came to finding my perfect wedding dress! They made the experience so enjoyable and comfortable. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Not to mention the dresses are STUNNING!

Lovely Bridal was my first (and only) bridal dress appointment. Using the online bridal portal allowed me to pick out some dresses that I really loved ahead of time, and Kendall used those to recommend other dresses. While she did offer for me to try on dresses outside of budget, I was never pressured to, and chose not to. In the end I found my dress, and even cancelled an appointment I had made for the next day. The staff here was respectful, knowledgeable and overall I had a really great experience!

The entire experience at Lovely Bride was absolutely amazing and one I will never forget. Katie was my stylist and she was exceptional. A few others also jumped in to assist. They went above and beyond and listened to everything I had to say. At the end of it they helped me find the most perfect dress, and for that I will forever be THANKFUL. You guys rock! I would highly recommend this shop to all future brides!!

I came to Lovely Bride 7 months out from my wedding to get a second dress after pushing my wedding out a year due to covid, and not being into my first dress anymore. I am from Buffalo and there was NO bridal store there that had so many options for the modern/minimalist/classic look I had in mind, and Lovely Bride had TONS. I tried on SEVERAL dresses that day that I would’ve been perfectly happy with, while at other stores I felt I was choosing the best of a selection of dresses I felt eh about. While the dresses at Lovely Bride are a higher price range than most shops in Buffalo, the gown I ended up with felt a much higher quality than any other crepe gown I tried, and I felt so much better in. I did push my budget but I’m so much happier with this dress than I ever was with my first, and now I can honestly say I can’t WAIT to wear it. They were so knowledgeable about the dresses, the bridal fashion industry, and even tailoring questions. After measuring me they decided to order a split size dress and explained in detail to me why, which I really appreciated. I felt I could truly trust their expertise. Also the boutique itself was gorgeous so that alone was worth the experience. Thank you, Lovely Bride, for giving me the wedding dress shopping experience I had been craving, and helping me find a dress I day dream about :) Cannot recommend this place enough & I feel I’ll have 0 regrets about pushing my budget—worth it. (PS. They also carry Untamed Petals accessories which are just so pretty and on trend. The consultant brought out the PERFECT veil for me on the first try, that me and my family were giddy about. She totally understood my vibe which made me for a wonderful and relaxing experience)

Great experience! I had such a great time at my appointment, and I found my dress! I had Kendall as my stylist who was so supportive and listened to me and was very flexible with whatever I wanted. She was an extra cheerleader for me as well :] The owner milled around offering extra opinions, help as support as well which was really nice. All their marketing (emails, text for appt confirtmation, even the receipt after I bought my dress) was so well designed and thought out. They also gave me a really cute enamel pin as a present for picking my dress! The shop was also stunningly designed and so adorable. I had a blast, so happy I went here!

Lovely Bride was everything I could have asked for and more!! I was somewhat anxious going into the appointment as I typically feel uncomfortable trying on clothes, but Angela and everyone at the shop made the experience comfortable and so easy! Sophia was amazing!!! She was very helpful and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She was able to figure out exactly what I was looking for and pull the dresses for me. Lovely Bride has a great variety of dresses and in more sizes than just a sample size. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Lovely bride is where you go to find THE dress, have the most incredible experience, and leave feeling like a million bucks. Julia was the best, she was so knowledgeable, so fun, and made me feel incredibly comfortable. When I found the dress the girls at the shop were my biggest cheerleaders. Go here if you need a dress that is different than what you’re going to find in buffalo. Classic and unique. Loved it!

This shop has a great selection of more interesting wedding dresses at a much more affordable price than many other fashion-forward wedding dress designers. Julia was an ideal stylist for someone like me who is having difficulty translating their aesthetic into wedding dress. She is broadly and also intricately knowledgeable. She helped me find a range of interesting options, and perhaps more importantly, helped me figure out how to narrow down my choices in a way that felt super supportive and not pushy. She gave me enough time to figure things out and play around with different ideas, which felt so important when buying something so unusual as a wedding dress! Very grateful to have found this experience close to home and within my budget.

I had an amazing experience at Lovely Bride Rochester and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a wedding dress! I worked with Julia and she was amazing! She was professional, thoughtful, and patient. She listened closely to the features I wanted in a dress and made great selections for dresses to try. I am in love with my dress, it is perfect in every way for my special day! Another thing I love about having purchased my dress at Lovely Bride is knowing that my dress will be unique because the dresses they carry are not mass-produced items. Note though, because the dresses are made from scratch for each order, I was told it would be 5 to 6 months until the dress is delivered to the store for pick up. I'm not sure how much this differs from other vendors, but something to keep in mind if you are considering Lovely Bride.

Amazing experience!

I went to Lovely Bride Rochester on 7/17 to find my dream dress. I was able to work with Kendall, who was absolutely amazing to work with. She was super sweet, and personable. She talked me through the process and made me feel confident in every dress I tried on. The shop owner Katie was present as well and providing amazing input to help me find my dream dress. They made this experience memorable and stress free. This was the first shop I went to and I did not know what to expect, and they laid out the process for me and walked me through step by step on what happens from purchasing to receiving the dress. Both Kendall and Katie helped me talk through each dress and each thing I liked or did not like. They brought in dresses that fit my wedding vision, and dresses that I never knew I would like. The environment here was so supportive, and they made me feel so confident in every dress that I tried on. They are also extremely accommodating. They helped me with switching out my veil to the veil of my dreams when I had second thoughts on what I originally purchased. I would recommend dress shopping at Lovely Bride Rochester to any bride who is currently on the hunt for her dream dress. The options there are endless, and they have something for everyone. I cannot begin to thank them for helping me pick my dream dress!!!

Truly the best experience! The atmosphere is so welcoming and clean. The process is very organized as well. Kendall was absolutely incredible with helping me find the perfect dress.
