About this vendor
Lovely Bride is a wedding attire boutique based in San Diego, CA with locations across the United States. The shop was founded on the idea of giving clients a modern shopping experience and unique designs to choose from. They specialize in carrying an array of indie labels that emphasize beautiful, romantic silhouettes. The company has been featured in a variety of popular publications including Vogue, The Huffington Post, Glamour, and more.
Lanie List created the company after becoming dissatisfied with the typical bridal shopping experience and the lack of distinctive dress styles available. She found a space for her store in New York City and focused on creating a one-of-a-kind boutique. Clients in search of something different flocked to Lanie’s business, and it soon grew to multiple locations around the country. Today, Lanie maintains a high level of customer service in her shops and aims for innovation in each facet of business.
Lovely Bride in San Diego adheres to the company’s philosophy of offering clients an experience that stands out in the wedding gown industry. Dresses they carry are thoughtfully crafted by independent designers, ensuring you receive the highest quality garment for the happiest day of your life. Labels carried here include Emmy Mae, Louvienne, Lovers Society, Made With Love, and Tara Lauren.
This boutique offers appointments to those shopping for their dream gown. When you book here, you are treated to personalized and attentive service by one of the shop’s expert consultants. They also have plus-size samples available to accommodate every body type. If there is a particular designer you’re looking for, the shop often holds trunk shows where you can browse many of their silhouettes.

This was my third bridal shop that I went to in San Diego. I went there specifically looking for Made with Love wedding dresses. The girls were so helpful and knowledgeable. I felt...
no pressure to make a decision. They pulled dresses that I wanted to try and pulled dresses based off of the things that I was saying while in other dresses. I could have spent an hour and a half in there (that is the only thing I would change), but I found my dress! I couldn't be more satisfied! They also explained to me that their alterations expert was their go to seamstress and was very familiar with their dresses. I felt at ease knowing that. I can't wait to get my dress and see it on. Lovely is defiantly a low pressure salon and not overwhelming what so ever!

store (the first time with my best friend and the second time with my mom). Besides Nicole's amazing services, the store is so adorable and has an amazing selection of gorgeous dresses. I was 99.9% I found "the one" my first time at the shop, and it only sealed the deal when my mom was able to join me for the second time! I'm so excited to wear my dream dress, thank you Nicole and Lovely Bride!

erent styles and Lovely Bride was her first shop and boy are we grateful for it.
We were lucky enough to get the owner as our stylist, and her wealth of knowledge and bubbly personality gave us so much confidence and comfort throughout our visit. She took the time to walk us through all of the lovely dresses she had in the shop, offered suggestions and then helped us into dresses together. We had so much fun hanging out! We were so comfortable with her, and appreciated her honest feedback and guidance on trying dresses that maybe were not exactly what we wanted but pointed us in the right direction.
After visiting Klienfeld, BHLDN (twice), and Grace Loves Lace (twice), Lovely Bride was by far the best experience and worth the visit. I found a dress I absolutely loved and ended up purchasing from the shop, and will be recommending Lovely Bride to all of my friends!
I came down from LA after having a specific wedding gown designer in mind that LBSD offered in their boutique. Despite COVID and masks (they’re very safe!), I was able to say yes t...
o my dress there! They were able to accommodate my mom and cousin which was nice because the other 2 salons only allowed for 1 guest. Thank you LBSD for such a great experience!

xperience, LovelySD made up for ALL of it! I was able to bring my mom and dad, and toast me saying “YES” with champagne we brought. Thank you for providing us with some JOY during these crazy times.
