Fashion industry veteran, Lanie List, had experience building lifestyle brands, so she set out to create that Lovely Life, with Instagram-worthy shops, a blog about wedding fashion, and a loyal following of brides and brand fans we call #ourlovelies. Word spread about the new way we were doing bridal, which brought us a lot of attention, including love from smart women around the country who wanted a Lovely in their town. So Lanie decided to franchise Lovely, since she loved the idea of helping women get into business. Today, Lovely is a collective of 18 individually-owned bridal shops, run by entrepreneurial, hardworking women who care deeply about offering a personalized and locally-focused experience. Having a health challenge during the time between your dress purchase and your wedding is the most stressful. So I had to change dresses to something I could easily continue to alter/alter last minute but the dress wasn’t quite right. And I really wanted a Saint designer dress but since that wasn’t an option, I was so excited that Lovely Bridal sells Saint accessories, including sleeves!!! Robin helped me try on the sleeves with my dress and even though it was a very short appointment, she made me feel so special and taken care of. She gave me my Bridal moment that I wasn’t sure would ever come. I am so grateful and highly recommend this shop for any Seattle bride!

Absolutely loved working with Clare! She was professional, great at listening, made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process! What I loved most about working with her was that she was efficient and made sure to get me into all the dresses I wanted to try on! She was great at giving me the space to form my opinions and converse with my group about what we liked or didn’t like about each dress without taking too much time! I thought lovely bride had a wide assortment which ultimately led me to the dress of my dreams! Clare made this experience special and positive- highly recommend!

I just had my appointment at Lovely Bride a couple days ago and found my dress! My stylist was Robin and she was so wonderful to work with. I am a borderline plus-size girl and was very nervous about going dress shopping because I wasnt sure if they would have dresses in my size. Not only did Lovely Bride have dresses in my size, but Robin understood so clearly what I was looking for that I ended up finding a dress that I had not even considered. I am so happy with my experience and cannot recommend this place enough!

My stylist, Clare, was amazing at helping me find exactly what I was looking for. We discussed the basics of what I wanted via text about a week leading up to my appointment. On the day of, I completely changed the direction I wanted to go in, and Clare instantly saw my new vision. In fact, the dress I bought was one of the first three that she brought in for me. As a midsize bride, I was really worried about how bridal sizing might impact my options, but it ended up being a total non-issue. A few days after my purchase I realized that I had forgotten to ask a few important questions, but Clare answered them for me right away.

Not only did I find the wedding dress of my dreams here, but I also made a genuine connection with my stylist Zo. Zo chose come of the Most Beautiful gowns according to my personal preferences and absolutely nailed it! We had such a blast finding the perfect fit for me. I came into my first appointment at Lovely Bride Seattle knowing exactly what dress I wanted to try on. Abby was so helpful with the trying-on process, taking videos and pictures, and Facetiming my mom. The customer portal was very easy to use after ordering my dress, and Lovely Bride was very accommodating when I wanted to place a rush order. The pickup process was easy, and they even recommended tailors for alterations!

Shopping at Lovely was so comfortable and overall an incredible experience. Brittany made me feel right at home and kept bringing me dresses that hit the nail on the head for what I was looking for. I was a bit overwhelmed with how many I liked, but a second (and third) trip, confirmed my love for one dress! Brittany was patient, honest, and sincere in her questions to help me make a decision. I would 100% recommend any bride come to Lovely! Also don’t let their mention of indie/ boho trip you up if that isn’t your style- it’s not mine and I found a ton of unique dresses in several different styles and vibes :)

Wonderful dress shopping experience!! Brittany was fantastic to work with! She listened to what I liked and didn't like and pulled some amazing dresses for me that were in my price range. I did say yes to a dress! And it was one I would never have thought to try on, but this dress she pulled made me feel like a goddess and highlighted my best features. From being in touch and getting to know me before the appointment, to honing in on the best styles based on my feedback, the experience wouldn't have been the same without her! My visit to Lovely in Seattle, WA was a dream come true. After visiting three other shops beforehand and experiencing a real lack of customer service and dress selection, Lovely was a breath of fresh air. I felt lucky to have worked with Carly, but honestly every bride in the shop that day seemed well taken care of and comfortable with what can be a daunting task. The shop has such a warm and welcoming vibe and their signature scent needs to be sold as a candle if it isn't already! Carly was imaginative, but honest. She did her research with the information I provided before my visit (something all three of the previous shops failed to do). And I felt like she genuinely cared about helping me find the perfect dress. Better yet, Lovely is in the most darling community in Seattle - you'll want to move in by the time you find your dress. If a visit to Lovely isn't yet on your list of places to shop, I highly suggest you move it to the top!

Walking into the Lovely Bride studio felt like a dream. The dresses were beautifully displayed, the lighting was perfect, and the pink walls gave the room a soft glow. Not only did LB have the best selection of dresses from a wide variety of designers, their staff made me feel so special during my appointment. Charis was attentive, thoughtful, and just as excited as I was! She helped put my nerves at ease, and when it came down to choosing between two amazing dresses, she picked out the perfect veil that pulled together the entire look. Seeing myself in that mirror dressed as the most beautiful and true version of myself, I’ve never felt more like a bride. Thank you so much to everyone though for making it such an incredible experience!

Overall I had a nice time here on 11/23/19. However, I felt a bit restricted by my vendor. I made my appointment to get an idea of what I like on me rather than in pictures. My vendor limited what I tried on to be in-budget. While that is fine as a recommendation, I would still like to be able to try on a dress if I like it. In general, vendors should trust the client's ability to decide what to try on and what not to.

I got into Lovely on a cancellation. And boy, am I glad I did! The consultants helped me iron out my vision. What I came in for was definitely not my style, and even after knowing me for 30 minutes they were able to pinpoint what looked best and brought out the real me. The shop is ADORABLE and the consultants and attendants are just absolutely delightful and have your best interests at heart. Thank you Lovely Bride for making dress shopping amazing!!!

I had an amazing dress shopping experience there. Hannah B - who I believe actually works in corporate and was just in town for a bit - was the most amazing consultant! I didn't end up finding my dress there, but found a bunch of strong contenders, and Hannah made me feel comfortable and happy the whole fitting! Would recommend!

I came in feeling nervous as hell and left on cloud nine. This was my first dress trying experience. Between the holiday junk food and gaining some weight post-injury, I've been dreading this part of the wedding planning process. Megan immediately put me at ease. She was easygoing, hilarious, kind and didn't make me feel pressured at any point in the process. Aaaaaand we found my dress!! The first one I tried on!! The selection was very good though, even for a bride like me who wanted something nontraditional. The whole process was so much fun -- I'm extremely thankful that my first and last dress appointment will be with Megan. I would wholeheartedly recommend her and Lovely Bride to any of my friends and family, as well as you internet strangers. THANK YOU!!!!

Lovely Bride was my third appointment of the weekend, and I had such an incredible experience! My stylist was Megan, and she was so sweet and welcoming. She did some research on my venue beforehand and had already picked out a few dresses by the time I arrived with my group. The space is beautiful, and the dresses are amazing. Megan chose a dress for me that she felt matched the vibe of my venue as well as what I was looking for. It wasn't something I normally would have picked, but once I put it on I instantly had tears in my eyes. I was so amazed that she knew what I was looking for more than I did! It was so easy to say "yes to the dress" here, and I would definitely recommend Lovely Bride to anyone on the hunt for an amazing wedding dress!

I loved every minute of this experience. They were so kind, welcoming, reassuring, and not pushy at all! The atmosphere was relaxed and my stylist was so laid back. She pulled every gown I wanted to try and didn't make me feel bad for wanting to try more, or put one on again. Highly recommend this shop!

Somewhat limited selection of simple, classic gowns. If you're looking more boho or modern - this might be your spot. Also, all of the other places I went left the fitting room while you put the gown on, and then came in to clip and what not. At this salon, they stay in with you and help you in. If you're not comfortable with that I may try one of the other shops in the area instead or request privacy.

Able to make an appt last minute since my friend was in town for the weekend. Such a beautiful space with tons of natural lighting. I loved that we had the space to ourselves, which made the experience feel more personalized. The dresses are very unique and if you are looking for something a little different, and not cookie cutter. The stylist helped so much with getting me a dress the fit not only my needs but style. Never felt pressured to get a dress. I could not recommend this place enough. Such a lovely experience for some can cause a lot of anxiety.

I had such a great experience at Lovely Bride. I worked with Courtney and she was so helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely honest. The dresses that she helped pull were within my budget which I appreciated and were totally my style! The store is gorgeous, classy, and has an open space with natural lighting to see the true color of the dresses. The dresses at the store have a big range of styles but I really loved that they had classic, modern, with a touch of boho/indie throughout the dresses. I'm so glad they just opened because after going to 4 different stores in Seattle, I found my dream wedding dress at Lovely! I'll definitely be going back to find my veil. Absolutely recommend this store!
