expectations. We had an idea to do a group photo of the entire wedding. James and his photography partner actually got a ladder and used a special camera, compiling all of our guests in front of the chapel in what would become an heirloom quality large photograph. Most of our photos from the day look right out of a magazine photo-shoot, capturing unexpected details and moments that otherwise would have been forgettable in the blur of the day. Unbelievably, James managed to capture the essence of our wedding, and took a shot of every single one of our guests. He has an eye for the unexpected moments, and without being obtrusive, he delivered photos of private touches and public celebrations. Hiring James was the single best wedding decision I made (besides deciding to marry my husband.) Years later, we are still stunned by the exceptional photos from that day. He even provided valuable creative input when we asked, and at his suggestion, we set up a large format Polaroid portrait station and ended up with these fabulous one-of-a-kind photographs of our family and friends. Whether taking traditional bride and groom shots or more ephemeral images of the crowd, we were ecstatic with the results. James understood what we were trying to accomplish and worked in concert with it, really blending in with the plan and event. James was not only able to capture us in the photographs he was able to capture the surrounding scenery of NYC and the Brooklyn Bridge. His attention to detail was impeccable including abstract photos which showed the true beauty of the area. James is one of the most friendly photographers you will meet and will not only take excellent photographs of your special moments but will make you feel comfortable for the entire session. I was surprised how quickly James was able to edit the pictures and produce images which could be used both on social media and for professional printing which is extremely necessary in 2016. Before the wedding, James was very giving with advice and guidance in terms of how things could go (and he showed more than a little patience with my wife, who wanted to go over *every* detail). At the wedding, he was a great presence--very fun and creative. It really felt like he cared about us not only getting good photos, but also just having a good time.
