They stuck to a schedule but I never felt rushed or stressed by them. Emilie was there while I was getting ready and her calm, laid back energy was just what I needed. They were both so good at navigating the event while being so mindful of my guests. Some weddings you attend, the photographer just seems to be everywhere all the time-blocking guest views etc. I didn’t feel that way at all and yet after seeing my sneak peek photos- I know they captured every detail. Speaking of sneak peak photos, I got those 3 days after my wedding- so fast! I can’t say enough good things about Emilie and her team and wholeheartedly recommend Lovely Valentine!

For our wedding photos, she had prior experience at our event space which was a nice plus. She is a calm, professional, and reassuring presence, over email and in person. After getting out engagement photos back we could not have been happier. Some of the best photos were the ones we did not even know we wanted. The quality of their work speaks for itself, but I was extremely impressed by how on point they were. I have been to weddings where shots have taken twice as long for photos that look nowhere as good. Even when fog cause us to lose our beautiful view, Emilie found ways to work around it and our pictures came out beautifully. We loved working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

we knew we'd be in good hands and we'd enjoy having her with us for our whole day. She is attentive and detail oriented, able to provide guidance without doing too much staging which was really important to us. We also did an engagement shoot and afterwards, my husband declared her his favorite vendor we chose! In terms of the photos, we couldn't be happier. Our teasers (75 of them!!) came within a week. Our full gallery came within a month. And we absolutely LOVE them. She and her team were so diligent about getting all the shots we wanted and somehow also got all the shots we didn't even KNOW we wanted! :) I've been showing lots of people all our pictures and every single person has commented on the quality of the photos and how they capture our authentic reactions. amazing photographer~ Our wedding was a long day (8:00AM to 11:0PM). We had a mix of Chinese traditional festivities (Chinese tea ceremony) with an American ceremony and reception. Emilie was on time and ready to take pictures! She was already well versed in the Chinese traditional festivities such as Chinese door games and tea ceremony. This helps a lot - she knew exactly where to stand to take the right pictures. Emilie had helped us pick out picture locations that fit the vibe that we want! On our wedding day, one of the picture locations had a film crew which makes picture taking very difficult to do. Emilie immediately spotted another picture perfect location that we could walk to. That was the perfect last minute decision! We got A LOT of teaser pictures back! Love that every pictures captures movement and genuine emotions. She brought colors to life! She made our wedding day look like a fairytale! When going from one picture to the next, her pictures consistently maintain high quality! We are beyond pleased working with her! We scaled down to a micro-wedding with just our family and a couple close friends , and the guys at LV were there to capture every single moment.
