We were incredibly lucky to have found Emilie and her team. As a normally anxious person who does not like to have their picture taken, I can not stress enough how comfortable we felt during our engagement photos and on our wedding day. Both Emilie and Annalee are just incredibly kind and wonderful people. After getting out engagement photos back we could not have been happier. Some of the best photos were the ones we did not even know we wanted. The quality of their work speaks for itself, but I was extremely impressed by how on point they were. I have been to weddings where shots have taken twice as long for photos that look nowhere as good. Even when fog cause us to lose our beautiful view, Emilie found ways to work around it and our pictures came out beautifully. We loved working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Definitely hire Lovely Valentine! It was such a pleasure having Emilie & team photograph our wedding day. She was very responsive and helpful leading up to our wedding day, had a positive and calm personality the whole day, and captured the most beautiful photos! We took pictures in the Boston Common in mid-August and she knew just the perfect spot for seemingly private photos. She handled a large bridal party with such ease! I cannot recommend Emilie enough! We worked with her and Jovan for both photography and videography for our wedding and are SO happy we did. When we had our first call with Emilie, we knew we'd be in good hands and we'd enjoy having her with us for our whole day. She is attentive and detail oriented, able to provide guidance without doing too much staging which was really important to us. We also did an engagement shoot and afterwards, my husband declared her his favorite vendor we chose! In terms of the photos, we couldn't be happier. Our teasers (75 of them!!) came within a week. Our full gallery came within a month. And we absolutely LOVE them. She and her team were so diligent about getting all the shots we wanted and somehow also got all the shots we didn't even KNOW we wanted! :) I've been showing lots of people all our pictures and every single person has commented on the quality of the photos and how they capture our authentic reactions. We're so excited and proud to display these pictures in our home.

We worked with Emilie at Lovely Valentine for our photos and were so happy with the experience. Emilie and her team were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! We had both photography and videography with Lovely Valentine and the whole team was professional, accommodating, and so nice. They really wanted to make sure that all the shots we wanted were captured while still leaving room for creativity. They were really helpful with corralling our guests for group shots, but always respectful and patient. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Emilie and Lovely Valentine! From the beginning, Emilie was so easy to work with. She made us feel so comfortable for a couple that is not too big on PDA and she somehow made us look flawless! On the wedding day, she also somehow became my time keeper and even made sure I had food on top of taking stunning photos! That should already tell you that she's an amazing photographer~ Our wedding was a long day (8:00AM to 11:0PM). We had a mix of Chinese traditional festivities (Chinese tea ceremony) with an American ceremony and reception. Emilie was on time and ready to take pictures! She was already well versed in the Chinese traditional festivities such as Chinese door games and tea ceremony. This helps a lot - she knew exactly where to stand to take the right pictures. Emilie had helped us pick out picture locations that fit the vibe that we want! On our wedding day, one of the picture locations had a film crew which makes picture taking very difficult to do. Emilie immediately spotted another picture perfect location that we could walk to. That was the perfect last minute decision! We got A LOT of teaser pictures back! Love that every pictures captures movement and genuine emotions. She brought colors to life! She made our wedding day look like a fairytale! I can not even begin to explain or put into words how much we loved working with Emilie and Jovan. We worked with Lovely Valentine for our wedding and we could not have been more thrilled with their services! When we initially contacted them, we were living out of state but we’re able to Skype with them and get all our preliminary questions answered. My husband and I both felt very comfortable with Emilie and Jovan even just via Skype. They remained easy to get a hold of when needed and helped us organize our day in a way that made the most sense and allowed us to spend the majority of our time with our guests. On the actual wedding day, Emilie was with me all morning and Jovan was with my husband. I really loved working with Emilie and my husband and his groomsman all said that Jovan helped them feel comfortable - which for most of them is would be very tough. The rest of the day they were both so wonderful and took gorgeous photos as efficiently as possible - even with us driving in and out of the city and back again we had enough time to get all the pictures we wanted and not miss any of our cocktail hour or reception. Of course the most important part iOS how the photos came out. We loved all of them!! They managed to capture how we felt on our wedding day and also included all of the important people in our lives! This was hard to do because we only had siblings in our bridal party but I don’t think there was a single guest who we do not have a photo of. The other thing that wash rear water how quickly the turn around time was. We expected it to take a lot longer to get our photos back but we had them in about 6 weeks! We would have been fine with waiting but it was a really great surprise to get them all back right before Christmas! We highly recommend Lovely Valentine to anyone who asks!!!

As their name suggests, Emilie and Jovan were lovely to work with! The day before the wedding, we made a last minute decision and added on the video component (did I mention how flexible they were?) and are really glad we did. During our ceremony, they managed to be both everywhere and invisible at the same time. We received a preview of the photos a couple of days after and were impressed by how they captured the day. My husband and I chose Lovely Valentine to photograph our August, 2018 wedding at Tupper Manor. We researched many wedding photographers but after looking at their blog online we loved their style of photography. Their images are modern and bright but also capture the emotions of the event. We also liked that choosing Lovely Valentine means having two photographers at your event; we got many different shots/angles of our ceremony and reception. On our wedding day Emilie and Jovan were great to work with. They caught many beautiful candid moments throughout the night and also snapped all of the family pictures that we requested. We also really liked the online portal where you can see your balance and make payments, fill out the pre-wedding questionnaire, and after your event view your photo gallery. Highly recommend!

I was recommended by friends (tons of couples) to Lovely Valentine. Jovan and Alicia are both very talented photographers, not to mention they're super nice and accommodating. The team attended to all our needs, which included taking portraits for us with our 400+ guests! The pictures came out perfect, and the blog post teaser was delivered less than 48 hours after our wedding! I was very impressed with the blog post teaser because we were able to share it with our family and friends who were unable to attend the wedding.

Strongly recommend Emilie & Jovan! They captured amazing photos of our wedding day (April 14, 2018) even braving the cold and climbing rocks with us in Gloucester (per my request)! I loved that they were a male/female duo, so that the boys would would feel comfortable in front of the camera too. We first heard about Lovely Valentine through a friend, and we could not have been luckier to have Emilie as our photographer. First of all, Lovely Valentine offered many different packages, and we were able to choose the best one that fit our budget and schedule. They also were extremely organized (but not overbearing) by sending out a questionnaire where we filled out our preferences for different photograph poses/styles. Emilie also came to the venue to do a walkthrough with us. Then, on the day of, Emilie arrived to the wedding and truly worked like a pro - not getting in the way but somehow always being in the right spot for the perfect picture. She even stayed longer when I requested it at the end of the night because I didn't want the pictures to end! When the photos came out, I cannot even count how many people complimented us on the quality of the photos and the amazing action shots!
