. The artist looked and acted very unprofessional. I will say that there was another artist in the salon that was working next to mine and she arrived 20 minutes before her client's appointment, looking professional and had all of her materials set up and ready to go, so it is possible I just didn't get paired with one of their better artists. I was happy with my hair, but my makeup was nothing like I asked for and did not last long at all. It seemed very rushed and was not done well. I ended up having Hey Lovely only do my hair for my wedding day, which I was happy with. Unfortunately, the artist was not very friendly at all on my wedding day and did not make me feel good. I would definitely go elsewhere for your beauty needs!

ect look I was going for, and I knew she would be one to trust. Erica and Dee glammed up the bridal party, and I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and make up experience. My make up had the perfect blend of natural meets bridal, felt light, and lasted the entire day (in almost 100 degree Texas weather). Not only are they talented, they are super professional to work with. They came on time, had everything set, and were punctual with completing our looks. So thankful I found Hey Lovely! Definitely will be my go to hair and make up artists for every occasion!

A couple of bridesmaids requested minor changes and the HL girls were happy to accommodate and make sure everyone was satisfied with how they looked. Brenna did both my hair and makeup. There could never be enough words to truly compliment how wonderful she is. Of course the day of the wedding I woke up with a large blemish. HL may want to consider changing her title as she truly is part magician. She did an amazing job FLAWLESSLY covering without makeup looking dry, cakey etc. Not only is Brenna talented in wizardly ways but she has a great personality that added to the excitement and fun of the day. Really, you should just go to their Instagram and hire Hey Lovely and request Brenna, you won't be sorry.

For my wedding, I had 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law that all got hair and make up done! Their timeline was SPOT ON. They communicated with my coordinator and ensured everything flowed perfectly on the day! It was so amazing and stress free (bc your make up is something you don't want to stress about!) Their passionate about bringing to life the vision you see for yourself...just be careful because you may end up leaving with 1 or 2 new best friends!

e middle of airbrushing my mother in law's foundation -- the make up artists organized the girls, got them in a lip, packed up and headed to a second location to get my mother in law's make up done with plenty of time before we were due at the venue for photos. Not only were the artists time conscious and think well on their feet when something goes awry, they were lovely to spend time with and I was thrilled with my makeup and that of my attendants. I felt absolutely beautiful and my makeup stayed well in place until we were leaving the hotel bar after party at 2:00 AM!

veryone was ready with plenty of time to spare - and were super attentive to each lady to make sure everyone was more than happy! Are they beauty witches?? PROBABLY. Brenna worked with me for my trial and day-of hair and makeup. I literally showed up with zero pictures and just said "help me, please" and she knew exactly what to do. My hair and makeup lasted through a tearful ceremony, a wild reception dance party, a sweaty party bus, and a drunken bar crawl. The bustle of my dress busted - but my hair and makeup were *fresh* until it was 3 am. All of this to say - I would highly recommend Hey Lovely for all your bridal beauty needs. They are SUPER knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. You'll also feel like you're chatting with a long-time gal pal when you're in their chair - an extra perk. :) Thank you, ladies!

olutely had to be right and I wanted the best. I booked them for my bridesmaids and moms too. I had my trial a month before the wedding, I expected to be transformed but the make up was average and I kept having to ask to change almost every part (I am pretty picky). The quality of the make up is great, but they only had one bronzer color so it’s kind of the same look the do on everyone. The girl could not do the updo that I wanted. So I had a second trial with another artist 2 weeks before the wedding and again, she could not complete the updo (a French twist type style). At this point I was pretty freaked out, I talked to the owner who suggested I could cancel my event. That was really frustrating, there was no way I could/wanted to find about her company to come do all of our hair and make up 2 weeks before the wedding. I ended up going to a blow out type place that night for a trial and the girl did my hair in 30 minutes exactly how I wanted it. I hired her separately to do my hair the day of the wedding (which was much more expensive since I wasn’t bundling services etc). Then, on the day of the wedding the team showed up at the wrong place. When I first booked the team, I thought we were getting ready at the reception venue. That changed pretty quickly though and I emailed them the updated time and location as we switched to a morning wedding. This is at least 6 months before the wedding. Then leading up to the wedding the wedding planner even confirmed which hotel zaza to go to. We got all the hair and make up done but it was really stressful and rushed towards the end. Overall not impressed for what I though was the best in Houston.

n after having a bridal trial that I felt did not convey the look I was wanting to achieve, Erica was extremely understanding and accommodating. She took time out of her busy schedule to do a retrial herself and made sure that my vision came to life. On our wedding day, all of the artists were punctual, efficient, and obviously talented. I could not have felt more gorgeous or more like myself on our big day thanks to these ladies!

ve me the address. I had to ask for it. At the time, they failed to mention that their studio was at the back of an old boarded up house with no street number listed on it. My daughter and I drove up and down the street trying to figure out exactly where they were located. I did receive an email about it approximately one hour before the appointment, after I had already left the office to go to the appointment. I had to walk around the back of the house and through all kinds of construction trash to get to their back door, which was not marked in any way. The "studio" was not complete-there were cabinets with no tops that the artist was working from. As she was doing my make-up I kept wondering why she didn't turn the lights on, as it was getting dark outside. At one point she asked me what I thought of what she had put on my face and I told her I couldn't tell, because I couldn't see it. She told me that she didn't think they had electricity, however I pointed out that she had to, or her straightener, which was plugged in, wouldn't work. She went to the wall and flipped a switch, but no lights. My daughter walked over to another wall and flipped another switch and the lights came on. The girl was surprised. The girl I worked with (don't remember her name) was nice and tried her best, but my make-up came out really light. When I said something, she said she matched it to my neck and chest. My daughter looked at it and could tell that she clearly hadn't because I had a tan and my face was extremely pale. When I got home and asked my fiance what he thought of my make-up, his comment was, "you look very white". I cancelled the contract with no problem, however no one ever reached out to find out why. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

helped ease my concerns about what my husband would think of how I looked. I don't wear make up very often and when I do it tends to be on the lighter side. The few times I've worn "full face" makeup as she called it, he did not like it at all. I also knew he liked my hair down, and although everyone was telling me to wear my hair up during the summer, she helped me feel better about choosing the option I knew he would love the most. I am so very grateful to her for making me look and feel good on the day that matters the most! :)

I knew I wanted to have them be part of our wedding and Erica was so awesome about working with me to be able to make that happen (& within our budget)! They did an incredible job with my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids and mom/MIL! Plus they did my hair and makeup for our rehearsal dinner which was such a treat. Hey Lovely can do anything you want from natural to glam which was a great fit for me. They're very professional but also so much fun and a joy to work with!! I'm so glad Erica and Dee were part of our big day, I highly recommend them for any event!

ress free. I truly felt pampered. They did a wonderful job on all of my bridesmaids' hair and my mother and MIL's hair and make up. My mom has extremely sensitive skin and was quite nervous to get her make up done. She had absolutely no trouble with their make up and looked beautiful!

hen our coordinator (Eric Cmar of Cmart Celebrations!) told me that he really recommended Hey Lovely, and I'm so glad he did! Gabrielle did my mom's hair (it looked amazing!) and my makeup. She was so sweet and really committed to making sure my makeup was what I wanted. She showed me how the makeup looked often as she was applying it, and she asked for feedback the entire time, which I appreciated because other trials left me with makeup that I felt was too dark and too heavy. Once Gabrielle was done, I was honestly blown away, I looked EXACTLY how I wanted to look for our wedding, which is basically like myself but better ;) I would really recommend them!!
