king for when in search of a church for our wedding - flexibility in music choice, officiant, decorations, order of worship, guest count, and more. Kristen immediately felt like a close friend the second I made contact with her. She is so accommodating, will do anything for you to ensure everything is perfect for your day, and worked so well with our wedding coordinator. She resourced all our wedding programs, the candles for isles, requested posted signs and more. Our ceremony was everything we wanted and more because of her efforts.
Additionally, Jimmy the music director at LLUMC, is phenomenal! Amazing talent, kind spirit, organized, went the extra mile to secure external musicians for our ceremony, and was the most willing to ensure that the flow of the ceremony and all the music exceeded our expectations come wedding day. He truly orchestrated the most beautiful ceremony for us.

amily can say the best part of the wedding was having Mrs. Kristin Larkin as our wedding coordinator. The best way of explaining her service is this. It’s not business, it’s a ministry. What that means is that she serves people with genuine love. My wife wasn’t able to have her mom at the wedding after over a year of rescheduling the wedding (that’s not a over exaggeration, it was a year 😪). Mrs. Kristen was amazing at caring for our needs even though she was going through a loss in her family. The world needs more people like her to make wedding ceremonies run smoothly. When we were running a bit late because my grooms men were all praying for me, she had the sensitivity to wait because she knew how special that moment was for me. If you get the privilege of using this venue, I pray you get to experience the love of God found in Mrs Larkin. She’s a remarkable lady. Also the organist Mrs. Sheryl is a gem and loved getting to work with her on the music for our ceremony.

have a professional pianist play live on a baby grand piano. Jimmy Emery, the pianist, has a beautiful gift from God in his talents and played my specific requests perfectly. I requested Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue because of it's special meaning to me. Jimmy did it perfectly!! Reverend Eck married us and did a wonderful job guiding us through some pre-wedding counseling and planning a sweet ceremony. I loved it here and my guests did too. More than one said it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever been to. One described it as a "jewel box". I recommend LLUMC to anyone looking for a wonderful experience!

They asked for all the right things (even the stuff my wife and I forgot about). On the wedding day everything went absolutely smoothly without ANY hick-ups, which is in my personal opinion almost impossible. Thank you Kristen and team and Lovers Lane for making this day truly special!
PS: We had tons of family overseas who were unable to attend so we chose to live stream the wedding. Unbelievable what is possible today! All of my relatives were super impressed even though they had to get up at 3 am LOL. If they needed to sleep int hey could obviously watch the event later on as well.

oke to had very tight rules. One of the things that was very important to me was having my friend's daughter play violin and no other church would allow us to bring her in and not use their organist. Kristen was amazing from the first time we met her.. easy to work with, on top of everything, super friendly and really caring about the details of our special day. Pastor Scott was also wonderful and after just a couple of meetings we felt like he really got us and personalized our wedding in a perfect way that I will never forget. Of course the church itself is gorgeous and all of the accommodations are everything you would need. It was so nice to not have to think about all of the little details when it came to the ceremony and the church.. Kristen had it all covered and then some. Kristen and Pam (the coordinators provided by LLUMC) were AMAZING and made sure my ceremony went off perfectly!! I didn't have to worry about one logistics detail for the ceremony because I knew they had it covered. The bridal suite is spacious and even has speakers in the ceiling that connect to the chapel, so we could hear the organist play as guests were being seated - very cool feature!! The LLUMC campus is beautiful and offers lots of different spots to take pictures: a beautiful courtyard with tons of flowers and a very cool bridge over a small creek on the east side of the property. Overall, I had an A++ experience here, all the way from the planning phase to the day of my wedding!! I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else!!!

We were not only able to have our ceremony and reception at LLUMC, but we also took advantage of the premarital counseling, used the gorgeously landscaped campus to take our engagement photos, and held our rehearsal dinner there. Kristen, the LLUMC wedding coordinator is an absolute delight and specializes in reducing your wedding stress. We were working with a fairly tight budget and we were so thankful to find out that the cost of the church included Pam as our coordinator, a pianist or organist, and all of the tables and chairs for the reception. They even have table cloths to rent for a very reasonable price. They have a beautiful bridal suite and a nice groom's room for the wedding party to use on the wedding day and there are beautiful spots for outside pictures as well! They worked so hard to make our wedding day exactly what we envisioned and treated us like family along the way. There were so many small details that Pam helped with to make sure the wedding day went smoothly. She was there from start to finish and was so reassuring and calm throughout the whole process. I am so thankful we chose to get married in Shipp Chapel at LLUMC. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!
