The day we met them for engagement photos, my wife and I walked down the beach in SD, engaging in some light conversation -- and before we knew it, the humor and ease with which they carried themselves took over, as we felt extremely comfortable doing anything they asked of us. I am not sure where to even begin... Dana and Nate are one of a kind. Before I got married I had recommended Lovers of Love to many of my friends all who have been more than pleased with their work. So with that said when we got engaged in Africa we emailed them asap (from Kenya) to reserve them for our future wedding. Of course I did what every bride does and I looked for hours and hours at photography blogs, read photographers bios, looked what each one offered and Lovers of Love was hands down our first choice. Lovers of Love are so professional yet so fun to work with. My husband (Bryce) and I are so lucky to have had them by our side the day of our wedding capturing every moment. Bryce is not a photo fanatic like I am so when we received our photos and he was happy with every one I was shocked which is a direct result of Dana and Nate’s professionalism and experience. On the wedding day where were times where we didn't even feel like they were around us but then when we received our photos they captured everything including the moments we had forgotten. I am VERY picky and set in my ways and had a very specific vision for how I wanted my wedding photography to turn out but Nate and Dana went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. I received over 1,000 photos of my wedding day and every single one is so packed with emotion, I am currently having all 1,000+ printed. Their attention to detail and ability to capture the perfect candid shot is truly a gift that makes them so talented. When my father saw a photo of my husband and I running through sparklers he said, “This is unlike any wedding sparkler photo I have ever seen, it’s so unique & really captures the whole day so well, that photo alone is worth what you paid your photographers.” If you are reading this and on the fence about who your wedding photographer should be Lovers of Love will exceed all your expectations! ☺

Nate and Dana are the best humans on the planet! We could not have chosen more talented photographers or more wonderful people to capture our special day! They are absolutely lovely to work with and go above and beyond to be accommodating to the couples needs. We had a blast at our engagement shoot and they completely understood who we are as a couple on that day, and our wedding day. Though they are based in San Diego, they traveled to LA for our engagement shoot and Palm Springs for our wedding day. They are friendly, patient, flexible and incredibly talented. We are so lucky to have found them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding photos.

We got married this past September in La Jolla and chose Lovers of Love as our photographer. A friend of a friend had recommended them and we loved their style when we checked out their site. When it came time to start choosing a photographer we had it narrowed down to around 5 and we set up a Skype call with Dana and Nate. The call went really well! Nate and Dana were a lot of fun and we hit it off right away and decided that they were the ones. Leading up to the wedding I made a Pinterest board of photos that I liked and then we had a call to discuss any 'must have' shots and first look at romantics locations. They were very organized which I appreciated and I felt that they got the 'look' we were going for. The day of the wedding it was high tide and we were running behind (not their fault) so we had to change a few things last minute which I was nervous about but everything ended up working out great.We absolutely LOVE our pictures. They were fun to be around and helped us out a lot with last minute fire drills. They are both very professional and know what they are doing as far as planning lighting and back drops and listening to what you want. If you want pictures that are creative and unique, choose them hands down! Thank you Dana and Nate!!!!!

Nate and Dana did a fantastic job at our wedding in July! They made our Nebraska wedding amazing! They captured the day just the way we wanted. We also had a BLAST spending the day with them!

Nate and Dana were amazing! They were so quick and professional and came up with many interesting shots that I just adore. I can't imagine wedding photographers that could have put us any more at ease and they were just so happy and excited the whole time, it was fantastic. Leading up to the event they made sure to keep in touch, updating shot lists and just letting us know they were still ready to go for our big day. They even drove us to the desert to take some amazing shots post-ceremony and got us back to the party in a flash. They were also an amazing value compared to some of the other photographers we considered. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!!

Initially, my husband and I were taken by the quality and beauty of Nate and Dana’s photography. After having a fun and amazing engagement session with them and then having them shoot our wedding, we have fallen in love with their up-beat, fun, and professional attitude. Out of all of our vendors, Nate and Dana were not only a breeze to be around, they were able to lighten the situation when I was feeling nervous. They have a great eye and wonderful suggestions. When I first met with them, I was hesitant about spending time to do posed photos. They said they would be happy with whatever we chose to do, but recommended doing a first look and bridal party pictures before the wedding. I am SO happy I listened to their advice. These photos turned out amazing, and having the first look with my husband was a very special moment. They work very hard and are willing to go above and beyond. Also, they are very collaborative and are happy to listen to suggestions, which again made them our favorite people to work with at our wedding! We have received countless compliments on our photos and we truly feel that Dana and Nate captured the true vibe of our day!

Lovers of Love Photography did an amazing job capturing our September vineyard wedding in Los Olivos (yes, they travel!). They were recommended by our videographer, and I couldn't be happier to have found them. I was a little nervous hiring a photography team I wouldn't meet in person until the wedding day, but walking into the venue and seeing Dana ready to snap away with a big smile on her face erased any concerns I had. Dana and Nate are an incredible team. They take beautiful photographs with the perfect blend of artistry and technique. They make you feel like you've known them for years. By the end of the cocktail hour, I wanted to invite them to sit at our table with us. There are many great photographers out there, but Lovers of Love Photography was the perfect choice for us. Their rates were competitive (and much more reasonable than others in our area - even with a travel fee), their work is spectacular, and they are a great team. I felt completely taken care of and at ease on our wedding day - just what every bride hopes for. I knew that the photographs would be gorgeous, and they surpassed my expectations. Other than your spouse, photographs are the only tangible things you will take with you from your wedding day. Our big day was beautifully captured by this amazing photography duo!!!! What a jackpot we hit finding these two! Not only were our wedding pictures beautiful and unique, but working with Dana and Nate was an absolute pleasure. True professionals and artists. They push themselves creatively to come up with poses, props, and styles that are both original and suit your personality and style.
