Hi, I’m Maliyah! I’m the face behind Loves Photography, a wife, mama, dog lover, and probably someone who will tear up right alongside you during your vows. I’ve always been someone who loves the little moments. The belly laughs, happy tears, messy hair, tight hugs, and all of the things that might not seem important in the moment but end up meaning everything later. Becoming a mom made me appreciate those fleeting moments even more, and that carries into the way I photograph every wedding and every couple.
On your wedding day, I’m not just there to show up with a camera. I’ll fix your dress, help keep things moving, hype you up when you need it, give you direction when you’re wondering what to do with your hands, and probably become a little too invested in your love story by the end of the night. My goal is for you to feel comfortable enough to forget there’s even a camera there. I love a mix of beautiful, romantic portraits and the candid, imperfect, completely you moments happening in between.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, loving on my dogs, editing with way too much coffee nearby, or planning my next session.
I genuinely love what I do, and getting to document one of the biggest days of someone’s life is something I’ll never take for granted!
