I completely fell in love with LoveStruck's style. Their photos had a timeless, emotional, storytelling feel that I couldn't stop coming back to. I remember thinking, "Please let them be in my budget!" When I found out they were, I was beyond excited because I knew they were exactly who I wanted capturing one of the biggest days of our lives.
Our journey started with our engagement session in May 2024 with Amanda, and within the first few minutes, we knew we had made the right choice. Getting your pictures taken can feel a bit awkward at first, but Amanda made us feel so relaxed that we completely forgot the camera was even there. She spent time getting to know us, asking about our relationship, and keeping us laughing. By the end of the session, it felt like we had spent the evening with a close friend—and the photos were absolutely stunning.
Then, the week or so before of our wedding, life happened. Amanda and her husband were originally scheduled to photograph our big day, but their twins decided they were ready to make their grand entrance! While that could have been an incredibly stressful situation for a bride, LoveStruck already had everything handled. There was never a moment where I felt worried because they had a flawless backup plan, and Tara, the co-owner, stepped in without missing a beat.
On our wedding day, Tara and our videographer, Rahi, were absolutely incredible. They brought a calm, fun energy that immediately put everyone at ease. One of my favorite moments happened when Tara walked in to take the guys' getting-ready photos. My husband and his groomsmen were blasting Bilmuri (his absolute favorite band), and instead of just ignoring it, Tara immediately recognized the music and started chatting with them about it. It was such a small detail, but it instantly clicked with the guys and set the perfect tone. That’s just who Tara is—she genuinely connects with people. They made not only us, but our entire wedding party and family feel completely at ease in front of the lens. They knew exactly how to keep things moving so we never felt like we were standing around posing forever. Everything flowed so naturally, which meant we were able to spend more time actually enjoying our wedding while still getting every single shot we could have hoped for.
When we received our gallery and wedding film, we were completely overwhelmed—in the best possible way. They captured every laugh, every happy tear, every little glance, and every single emotion so beautifully. Looking through our photos and watching our video brings us right back to that day, and that is the greatest gift we could have asked for.
To Amanda, Tara, Rahi, and the entire LoveStruck team—thank you for giving us memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Your talent is undeniable, but what truly sets you apart is how deeply you care about the people in front of your cameras. I can honestly say planning a wedding comes with a lot of anxiety and stress while preparing, but lovestruck made it much easier knowing they had photos and videos taken care of. I knew the photos and videos would be the only thing we get to keep from this day and I also come from a graphic design background so I was very picky about what I wanted. I originally interviewed with Amanda who made me feel very reassured and answered all of my questions. Amanda did our engagement shoot first, and traveled all the way to Cape May for it. It was a lot of fun and our photos were gorgeous.
Day of, everything was perfect. Even when my mother's gown got left at the house so we were behind schedule, we made sure to recreate the moment of her helping me get dressed so that the photos wouldn't be of my mother in her activewear. Anytime we had a specific photo request throughout the day and night, they made sure it happened!! bright, airy and candid style. Amanda was our photographer and Matt was our videographer for the day. They were both very laid back and made the day very enjoyable. Taking hundreds of photos gets tiring after a while, but they could always read the room and easily got the group's energy up. For months I'd been stalking lovestruck pictures...it started early. By early, I mean before I was even engaged to my Steve. (Lol) Lovestruck was in philly...hours away from where ...
I lived, but I was determined to get to know more. Amanda explained she usually would go over photo albums during meetings. Since Steve and I couldn't make it in person, she put together a slideshow and we used Skype to have the meeting. I knew right away that this company was the one.
