Many of our guest loved our ceremony and Father Jackson! He was very charismatic and funny which was nice to have a lighthearted feel to the ceremony. Unfortunately, many of the things I requested for our ceremony were missed which was quite frustrating. During our planning meetings we had discussed making an announcement about an unplugged ceremony and the second I walked down the aisle, I was bombarded with cell phones in my face. Granted-this is not solely on the pastor but an explanation to guest before the ceremony started would have been helpful. I had to make a reminder once I walked down and was at the alter to have people put them away. We also spoke about us exchanging personal vows before the ceremony but noted that we wanted traditional vows during our ceremony for our guest in our initial intake. There were no vows during our ceremony and we had to unfortunately remind pastor to mention that it was time to kiss the bride before we walked back down the aisle. Other things that I mentioned that were missed: the scripture I wanted and audience participation which were all noted in the intake form and recap emails that we used. It kind of felt like the pastor did what he wanted to do instead of what we asked/what was discussed. Overall, it just felt like
