This place was amazing! They set up a meeting with us, let us try 6 different flavors of cake, 6 different flavors of filling. Any questions we had, they answered. They had a book that had ideas of how to decorate the cake, and worked with us, so the cake looked exactly how we wanted it.
They gave us some good ideas for pairing flavors together.
I have a niece who is allergic to eggs, so they worked with us and made 12 eggless cupcakes so my niece could enjoy dessert like everyone else. And even some other guests had the cupcakes and said they were delicious. Our cake turned out beautiful and tasted delicious!!
We are very happy with Lovin Oven and how our cake came out. The tasting was very thorough, and they incorporated the ribbon and cake toppers we had provided them perfectly. We didn't get pictures, but we also got gluten free chocolate cupcakes and sugar free chocolate cake for some of our guests with dietary needs. The cake was so moist and not too sweet, and we heard from guests that they couldn't even tell that the sugar free chocolate cake was sugar free!
We absolutely loved working with Lovin Oven! Our cake tasting and meeting were so much fun — they showed us a variety of pictures and ideas to help us create our own cake and bring our vision to life. Our wedding cake turned out exactly how we wanted — it looked beautiful and tasted amazing! Even though we had to have the cake delivered the night before because our wedding was on a Monday when the bakery wasn’t open, it stayed perfectly fresh and moist for the big day. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience or the final product!
The cake was great but we had a couple emails go unanswered. Overall we were pleased.
Our cake turned out beautifully on our wedding day! We got the lemon cake with raspberry filling and it was delicious! They were easy to contact and to work with. They even throw in an anniversary cake so you do not need to save the top tier. Would recommend!
Abby at the bakery is super friendly and accommodating. The tasting went well and she answered all our questions. The day of the wedding, the cake was beautiful and tasted amazing.
We used Lovin Oven because they work with our venue. It was a great experience. We went to their Antioch location for our cake tasting and had a blast trying the different cakes and fillings. My husband can't eat gluten, so we were pleasantly surprised with the delicious gluten-free options that Lovin Oven provides. We ended up having a gluten-free cake for our cake cutting, while there was a sheet cake of regular cake in back that the venue served to most of our guests. Our guests never even noticed. Lovin Oven shows you different cake designs that you can choose from if you aren't sure what you want. Our cake looked gorgeous. For our one-year wedding anniversary, Lovin Oven will give us a complimentary mini cake. I highly recommend this bakery for wedding cakes.
Lovin oven cakes was the vendor offered through our wedding venue and I'm so happy they were because the cake was absolutly stunning! My jaw dropped when I saw how perfect it was and it tasted just as good as it looked. We were not able to do the tasting because of a last minute thing on our end but they accommodated us and were able to do it over zoom and let me send in my inspo pictures via email. I had my cake topper sent to them and they placed it before bringing it to the venue for us. Highly recommend!!
This is the cakery to use! Their cake tastes amazing, they are able to make your vision come to life without stress. We worked with Abby and she was always responsive. On our wedding day everyone ate our cake that we didn’t end up getting any - Abby was able to recreate our cake for us after so we could enjoy it. We also loved we didn’t have to keep our top tier and they provide a free tier on our 1 year anniversary. I will be using Lovin Oven for many more occasions to come.
I'm glad our venue recommended this bakery! They were great at communicating with us and our cake turned out beautiful (as well as delicious)! I liked the fact that we could do a cake as well as cupcakes for our guests. It was a nice option to have! 10/10 would recommend!

We had Lovin Oven create our cake for our wedding last October. We met with Stephanie to pick the design and flavors of the cake and she did an amazing job walking us through the process. First off, our cake turned out STUNNING. And of course, the cake was absolutely delicious! We would definitely recommend Lovin Oven if you are looking for the best wedding cake you can get!
The desserts were all amazing and delicious! They created a beautiful cake for us and an entire dessert table. The communication was great and so helpful!
We chose Lovin Oven for our wedding cake and were extremely happy we did! They were recommend to us by our venue so even though the bakery was far, we decided to schedule a tasting and try it out. Stephanie was the person we did our tasting and stayed in contact with. She was so helpful, kind and quick to answer any questions and offer guidance. Our cake turned out exactly how we pictured it! It was beautiful and delicious! They delivered the cake on the day of the wedding at the time they said they would and set it up perfectly. We highly highly recommend them!!
Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous AND delicious! Stephanie there was SO concerned and helpful in making the cake come out perfectly. We also got the platter of mini sweets and they disappeared quickly! They delivered to our venue as promised and they process was seamless. All for a very reasonable price. So impressed and happy with Lovin Oven!
Lovin Oven was 100% the best choice for our wedding cake! I had grown up going to Lovin Oven, so I knew when we were looking for our wedding cake, that they would have the best tasting cake for our budget. The tasting process was seamless and their wedding team was incredibly helpful with mixing and matching different looks and tastes to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. They were even able to accommodate little figurines on the side of our cake of our pets. And the funfetti was a hit with our guests and such a fun twist on a traditional cake! They also boxed up any uneaten cake at the end of the night so my family and I were able to enjoy it at our barbecue the next day. And we are so excited to get our top tier remade on our anniversary so we don’t have to save it in the freezer!

Our wedding cake from Lovin Oven stole the show on our wedding day. Everyone was raving about how delicious the cake was. The tasting was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning and Stephanie was so accommodating and helpful. We went with the lemon cake filled with lemon jam and vanilla french silk. I can’t wait for our anniversary topper next year so that we enjoy it again!!
Lovin Oven is a delicious bakery to begin with, and they did a phenomenal job with our wedding cake! We got our bridal shower cakes (and plenty others over the years) from Lovin Oven, and every time they knock it out of the park by bringing our vision to life. We met with Stephanie and tasted a number of cake items, and all we did was provide them with photos of what we were thinking of, and they replicated with the most personal of touches. We gave them our cake topper and they took the time to be sure it was secured correctly so it would last all day until the cake was cut. We opted for a smaller cake for the wedding party and a dessert table with plenty of variety for the guests (the cake shooters were a huge hit!). We highly recommend going to the wedding open house Lovin Oven hosts, since you can taste a variety of desserts, beyond just your traditional cakes.
The team at Lovin Oven was amazing! We ordered a small cake for us to cut and then platters of pastries and cookies. The desserts were delicious and a hit with all of our guests and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!
We are SO happy that our vendor worked with Lovin Oven Cakery for their wedding cakes. Growing up, Lovin Oven was always a staple in our household when we were hosting parties or just wanted some sweet treats. Their staff are professional and quick to respond. They honestly made this whole thing so easy and fun for us. We had a great time at the tasting. Our wedding cake was stunning - AND it tasted delicious!! My husband's aunt attended the wedding from out of town. She used to professionally make wedding cakes and said this was one of the best she had. Thank you, Lovin Oven!

Lovin’ Oven Cakery knocked our wedding cake out of the park! From day one, we loved how helpful and communicative Stephanie was during the whole process of designing & customizing our dream wedding cake. The taste testing session was amazing! With 10 different frostings/fillings and 6 different cakes, it was easy to find combinations we really loved. We were happy with our flavor decisions.
Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning and delicious. Our wedding guests said it was the best wedding cake they have ever had; even those that normally don't enjoy cake loved it. We chose a very intricate and colorful design and they pulled it off flawlessly! Stephanie even offered to place the faux flowers that we purchased on the cake so it would be delivered to the venue decorated! The cake turned out better than expected; I cannot recommend them enough! :)
Lovin oven recently provided for my wedding and they were amazing. We did assorted mini desserts and also had a small cake. The cake was beautiful! Good communication and great prices.
Stephanie was a pleasure to work with! She was very prompt with questions and with our communications it made the whole process stress free! We had such a fun time choosing our cake and she made it so easy with all the different options and was able to customize the styles from choosing from a few different options so each tier looked a bit different. The tasting included 6 different cakes and 10 different frostings and fillings and were so happy with our decision! All of our guests absolutely loved the cake and wanted more than one piece.
It was so affordable and reasonable for a wedding cake AND delivery we were in absolute shock because it was the best cake we have ever tasted and turned out to be stunning. The process was so easy because they deliver it and put the cake topper on for you if you drop it off.

We are so happy we chose Lovin Oven to be our cake and cookie vendor for our wedding. They made our dream wedding cake a reality! We also ordered some butter cookies for the day and they were a hit. Lovin Oven was amazing! They were very easy to work with and extremely helpful when it came to figuring out the size of our cake as well as the amount of smaller desserts that would be required for our wedding. We ended up getting a Red Velvet cake as well as assorted miniature desserts. The cake turned out absolutely perfect and the desserts were fantastic as well. We can't recommend Lovin Oven enough!

Stephanie is amazing! We accidentally decided to wait until the last minute to pick out our cake and searched for a few bakeries in the area and ended up finding Lovin Oven. We spoke with Stephanie and she set up a ‘to-go’ tasting box for us to take home (we do not live in the area we got married) and it could not have been better! They included 6 different cakes and I believe 10 different frostings/fillings, which was plenty to do 2 taste tests and be sure we liked our decision! We only had a hard time deciding because we loved them all! They are extremely reasonable on pricing and delivery! We almost ended up paying $300 just for delivery elsewhere!! Go with them if you want an easy booking experience and DELICIOUS cake!

A sweet escape! Lovin Oven Cakery delivered pure delight for our wedding with their delicious desserts. The words delectable and enchanting are often overused when talking about wedding cakes, but these were simply divine. Thank you for helping us make our big day all the more special.
Lovin' Oven Cakery was included from our venue (Chevy Chase Country Club). We did a tasting with Stephanie and she was incredible. She was a tremendous help putting our ideas together. I'm a big Disney fan and we incorporated Mickey heads in the piping work of the cake. We also got to make each layer of our cake different. I love that they will remake the top tier for your anniversary so you don't have to try to freeze it. Wedding cake can also tend to be on the dry side as they have to make it early in the week to get it decorated. Our cake was still moist the following week when we ate leftovers!
Even though we didn't technically "choose" Lovin Oven, I would definitely use them again and recommend them!
We just got a top tier from them but Stephanie is so amazing to work with. You can do a combination of flavors, there’s tons of choices for what to do with the flavors, frosting, designs, coloring. She works with you to help you get what you have in mind. Amazing cake and amazing staff!
We booked Lovin Oven for our wedding cake and have zero regrets! The cake was delicious and absolutely stunning. We received so many compliments from guests that it was the best wedding cake that they have had, and was decorated exactly the way we wanted- it was true perfection for us. After our tasting there was a glitch in their old computer system and they couldn’t see what flavors we selected, so they offered us another complimentary tasting and were so accommodating to our schedule. They definitely put their customers first and strive for excellence. You even get a complimentary replica of the top tier on your one year anniversary- something we are looking forward to! We would book them again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Lovin Oven Cakery! My husband is generally not a cake person but was so excited when we left our tasting, as he thought the quality of the cake was exceptional and the fillings were flavorful without being too sweet. The final cake looked beautiful and was just what we asked for. We were able to split the tiers between yellow and lemon cake, paired with chocolate fudge and strawberry buttercream. We would highly recommend Loving Oven Cakery for your future event!
Our tasting and planning meeting was awesome! There was some sort of staffing change between that and our wedding, so it was kind of a cluster trying to make sure that everything was still taken care of. My father-in-law went to pick up the cake on our original pick-up date and was told it wasn’t ready and to come back tomorrow. On top of that, our cake ended up looking completely and utterly different from what we ordered (thankfully still in color scheme). It was still delicious, but there was so much disorganization and stress that I’m definitely going to stick to their pre-made cupcakes and cookies for any future events.

our wedding cake was delicious and exactly what we had ordered. There was some concern about 2 weeks before our wedding when we found out the initial person we worked with to set up our cake wasn't working there anymore due to performance. Stephanie luckily was able to get it straightened out for us. We are very thankful she did because the previous girl didn't even have a picture of the cake we had ordered. All of our guests loved our cake and we are excited for our fresh top layer cake for our 1 year anniversary!
We ordered our cake and assorted desserts through Lovin’ Oven based on a business collaboration with our venue. There had been some recent administrative changes, but Stephanie worked with us to ensure that our order was correct and yummy. We were so glad to go through with them- and enjoyed the many options we were able to choose from.

There were only 2 people permitted at the taste testing, but they sent us home with boxed samples for other members of the family to experience the fun.

Lovin’ Oven did an amazing job with our wedding cake. The tasting was easy (and delicious), and they were helpful laying out options when we initially weren’t totally sure what we were looking for. We ended up with a beautiful cake complete with paw prints leading up to our cake topper. The cake was delicious as well!
Our cake was amazing and everybody wanted more. All you have to do is look on their Facebook to know they make beautiful cakes, but the flavor will surprise you and your guests every time. Lovin Oven was professional and timely. I worked with Marlo to arrange everything and have our cake delivered and it couldn't have been more perfect. I am so excited for my one year anniversary topper cake. I highly recommend Lovin Oven.
