They listened to our ideas and provided their own suggestions for how to enhance the look of our venue even further – As we worked together to execute our vision, we actually decided to rent a chandelier from them as well (they have an amazing inventory of options!). On the day of our wedding, the team did a beautiful job of hanging the drapes and chandelier within our venue – It looked even better than we had envisioned it! Nick was hands down the best DJ we've ever had the pleasure of hiring. He took our idea for our welcome party and made it come to life. Due to very cold Charleston weather on my wedding weekend, we moved all the lighting and setup from outside at the William Aiken House to the American Theater next door. They worked to give us a seamless experience throughout the day. LE provided cocktail hour music at the William Aiken House, then transitioned to the American Theater for the party without any hiccups. The lighting they added in the theater was perfect! We had the most amazing time with our DJ too—he kept the party moving! He also added in some excellent Latin music for my husband’s Colombian relatives. Everyone was on the dance floor and having a blast! Highly recommend.

They put in a lot of extra work on our playlist, did a few zoom and phone calls with the bride and groom who were from out of town and nailed the mix of NY NY and Empire State of mind the bride wanted to dance with her Dad to. Brian was amazing!! He set a fun tone that we were looking for and our guests were complaining the next day about how sore they were from all the dancing. He was flexible when we had a coordinator that was difficult to work with and still kept a smile on his face. Don’t hesitate to book if you are looking for a fun wedding and a DJ that works and listens so well to the bride and groom.

Nick is seriously the best! He was super available to us during the wedding planning process with any questions we had and had tons of recommendations. Picking music for your wedding can be very daunting, but he has the best list of songs to choose from. We also used him for our café lighting and photobooth. Everything was wonderful. We never actually got to talk to him the day of with how busy we got, which we wholeheartedly regret, but we did share some smiles and an unspoken communication that only a DJ of his stature could understand. One thing that really meant a lot to me, which I’m not sure he knows or will ever know how much I appreciated this, has to do with my first dance with my dad. My Dad has had cancer, is 81 years old and really struggles with walking/standing/dancing. My Dad was REALLY not wanting to do the first dance at all, but I convinced him and got him on the dancefloor. Nick was able to shorten the song to just the right amount of time and completely understood what was going on without making my Dad feel bad and without me having to ask him to make the song shorter. It may not seem like a big thing, but it really, really was. It takes a hell of a person to be able to read situations and read the room the way he did at our wedding. So grateful for him. If you don’t choose him you’re doing yourself a serious disservice because he is absolutely wonderful.

Nick made our wedding so much fun! The piano/singer was phenomenal for our ceremony and cocktail hour! We picked some challenging songs to incorporate and he didn't miss a note. Our guests LOVED the live music. After dinner, Nick took over and the dance floor was packed. The oldest guests in the room and the youngest guests were all on the dance floor. Everyone had a blast and we couldn't have picked a better DJ!

He sends out a questionnaire and it includes details that I hadn't even thought of, so thorough and just makes sure you are listening to the music you want to listen to all day. Nick was great!!! My guests never left the dance floor, which is always a concern when planning any party! He gave us a detailed questionnaire to complete and from that he knew exactly what we wanted and boy did he deliver! If you need a DJ, I highly recommend using them!

Nick and Lowcountry Entertainment are incredible! He helped us with lighting options for our large backyard wedding. When our neighbors planned a wedding for the very same night, Nick graciously met with us again to help us construct a new plan for our alternate location. He also constructed a backup plan to hang chandeliers in a tent in case of rain. Thanks to a clear forecast, we were able to go with bare sky, the cafe lights looked absolutely magical and truly made the reception into a fairytale landscape! On top of rocking the lighting game, Nick also went above and beyond to set us up with ceremony sound. We’d been quoted 3-4x as much from other companies, so the relief of this was enormous! Based on our experiences with Nick and our chat with one of his associates, I have no doubt he and his crew are fantastic DJs as well (as reviews already attest). In short, if you are in search of a top notch, affordable, and fun vendor for any of the services Lowcountry Entertainment offers, I heartily recommend booking them!

We used Low Country Entertainment for cafe lighting inside our venue and rental of a large chandelier to hang over our dance floor. Our wedding planner worked directly with Nick to schedule this rental, but the process seemed very easy and the payments were simple. Nick's team did a BEAUTIFUL job hanging the lights throughout our venue - they were placed perfectly so that the room sparkled and did not overpower the space at all (which I was a little worried about). They do a wonderful job decorating a room - if we had the space I would have done their draping service as well!

Nick was such a great time! He executed all of our requests to the T. He really made us feel like our wedding was unique and personable.

Nick was so wonderful to work with! We planned our wedding from the west coast and Nick was so helpful throughout the entire process, even FaceTiming with us when we had questions. We submitted a Spotify playlist to give Nick an idea about our music tastes and he was able to create the perfect combinations to keep our dance floor full, while still playing some of our favorite off-the-beaten-path songs. Our ceremony and cocktail hour music were perfectly orchestrated and he adapted quickly when we informed him an hour before the ceremony that we wanted to add a choreographed introduction during the reception. We are so grateful we hired Nick for our wedding! We had an unbelievable amount of compliments about how beautiful and how much fun our wedding was! Lowcountry Entertainment was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and after working with them it's no surprise. Nick is an absolute pleasure to work with. We booked our DJ, Charlie, and rented some equipment from Nick as well. Even though our DJ wasn't scheduled to start until 7pm, Nick came to our venue several hours early to help our musicians set up. Nick is also an excellent communicator. Nick did an absolute amazing job from the ceremony music to the reception! He was very easy to talk to and had great suggestions to make our day reflect us. When we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, Nick & his team were HIGHLY recommended and had all the best reviews online. So, we decided to moved forward! I initially submitted a request through his website but never heard back so I assumed it either didn't process or it never made it to Nick so I decided to email him directly. From there we scheduled a call with Charlie, one of his DJs since he had availability for our date, which went amazingly! Charlie was awesome & totally understanding of our DJ needs for our wedding. I was contacted a few days later from Nick saying our spot was in jeopardy due to another person who was interested in our timeslot, so I assured him that we wanted to book Charlie for our wedding & sent over a signed a contract. I didn't hear back from him for SIX days. After he acknowledged our receipt of our contract he provided deposit options, so I asked what his Venmo name was so I could send the deposit right over, radio silence. He works for the wedding/event industry so I gave it a few days thinking he was busy and took it upon myself to find him on Venmo & sent our deposit so we could secure our spot 100% even though I had already sent over a signed contract. Very shortly after sending my payment for our deposit I get a refund and an email informing me that our date was already booked by a "previous client" by his office assistant that he didn't know about for FOUR WEEKS. This was 13 days after sending over a signed contract. He was quick to find a replacement DJ from another company but I decided to go with a more well known & reputable management company to book a DJ for our wedding. I debated about writing this review but I figured I'd warn others of our experience since I was expecting 5 star service from all of the rave reviews I saw online & personal recommendations from my planner, photographer and venue coordinator. He's popular around the Charleston wedding industry but sadly I had a less than stellar experience.

Nick was so great to work with! He was easy to get in touch with all the way from booking through the wedding! He kept our guest out on the dance floor the entire night! The music was great! He took our list of must play songs and mixed them in with some other great music! He was also very accommodating with song request...we had some kids there that seemed to be up requesting songs every few minutes, Nick was super friendly to them and worked in all their request! He also did some really beautiful bistro lighting at our venue that allowed guest to hang out outside throughout the night. Cannot thank him enough for making our wedding so much fun! We truly danced the night away thanks to Nick!

Nick is the man! Lowcountry Entertainment was amazing to work with. They recommended all our ceremony music (which we LOVED) and followed through on all our requests and asks for specific music. I had heard horror stories of DJs going off track and playing whatever they wanted, but we had a very specific set of music we wanted at the wedding and he followed through with everything! I couldn't be happier with the services Nick provided. We emailed on and off for about 10 months and anytime I had a question he responded in a timely manner. He did our ceremony and reception music and I was outstanding. He met with us, listened to all of our ideas and just made it amazing. We hired Nick as our DJ as well as to hang some bistro lighting throughout the venue. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Not only is he a genuine person, but after giving him a general idea of our music taste he hit the ball out of the park. My husband turned to me during dinner and said "Who is this guy!" as Nick continued to play jam after jam. Every song was right on point. Then he had us dancing all night long. He also played the ceremony music as it was outdoors. His set up outside was discrete and the music sounded great. On top of all of that, the lighting was gorgeous. We tried a new lighting design on a brick wall- I had no idea how it was going to turn out and was thrilled when I saw it. As a destination bride, choosing vendors had an added level of finality. From the moment we met Nick, we knew he was the perfect master of events for our wedding day! His personality and passion for what he does emits pure confidence into his clients… at least it did for us. Nick was amazing! He got our party started off right away. I had guests who never left the dance floor because they were having so much fun. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it to keep everyone happy and excited. We had a range of age groups and everyone enjoyed the music. My now husband had compiled a list of songs he wanted for the dancing, but Nick quickly noticed that they weren't drawing in the guests to the dance floor.
