about how expensive this catering can be. It is a very expensive meal, especially if you want the premium bar. However, the free tasting was a great time - free wine, appetizers, salads, entrees. Plus, you get to meet with your specific planner to discuss options. We had Maria. Her job went way past what I assumed it would be: she was basically my wedding planner. She helped with the food, the room layout, the schedule of events, the table clothes and chairs, extending the bar, etc. I was very impressed by her dedication to making our wedding run smoothly. Unfortunately, she could not attend the reception, and Erin took her place. We met Erin a little before the wedding day with Maria to make sure everything would go well. Erin did a great job. In terms of the food, it was very tasty. We had four passed hors-de-vours, a salad, a choice of three entrees (I ate a bit of them all...), and a dessert bar. We also opted for the late night fare bar, complete with mini sliders. In terms of staff, they at first were reluctant to let guests in early even though it was raining outside. The problem was solved by the ceremony planner at Loyola. Overall, I would recommend Loyola's catering services.
