I recently had the pleasure of working with Louie for my wedding, and I can't express enough how incredible the experience was. She listened carefully to my vision and the products used were long-lasting, ensuring my makeup stayed flawless throughout the entire day and night. The overall makeup and hair were simple yet stunning. I had 2 outfit changes (one for Chinese tea ceremony and one for wedding reception) and Louie even took the time to change my makeup to complement both of my outfits! Overall, Louie was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her services to any gal for her special day ! <3

Louie is a very talented, wonderful and kind person. She reached the locations earlier than needed! She is such a natural talent and she knows and helps so many different brides and bridal looks. She asked me what looks I was going for, looked at my wedding outfit and came out with such a nice look on the trial that I did not have much changes for the wedding day!! She is thoughtful and a jolly person, a friend in need on your wedding day when you could have millions thoughts (and a million suggestions from family on the makeup) in your head! She is a bride's best friend! I am so happy with Louie and will definitely request her service for future event!
Louie did my hair for my rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. She also did hair for three of my bridesmaids. She did an amazing job! My hair is very thick and curly, and the blowout/ do lasted all day throughout lots of photos, humidity, and even a little rain! I definitely recommend her for your big day.

Louie did an incredible job with hair and makeup for me and all of my bridesmaids! I was amazed at how efficient she was for 7 back-to-back hair AND makeup sessions for the morning of my wedding! She stayed on schedule and made my morning so smooth. My bridal makeup was perfect and my hair stayed in place the whole night, even with 2 additional outfit changes that required adding headpieces. Loved working with Louie and would recommend her to anyone who needs hair and makeup services!
I hired Louie for my Chinese wedding ceremony and she did such a good job, everyone complimented on my makeup and hair all day asking who did it! I had some acne/scars and she made my skin looks absolutely flawless! Her pricing is very reasonable too! I definitely recommend her!
Louie was AMAZING to work with! I booked her for my bridal makeup for me and my bridal party for my wedding on April 23, 2023!! Weeks before the wedding, we did a bridal trial to perfect my wedding makeup and hair. It was perfect. On the day of our wedding, she absolutely killed it. My hair and makeup stayed! My bridal party, mom and mother-in-law loved their looks as well. She was super helpful, informative, patient and incredibly talented! I can't wait to work with her again!! I'd definitely book her again even for fun, non-wedding events!!

Louie's work was excellent; very professional and appropriate. I was having hair and makeup done for a corporate headshot and she understood immediately. The result? Great; she did an excellent job with making my eyes pop, but not too much and my hair was perfect. She is a bit of an angel making you feel beautiful.
I was very happy with the outcome of my hair and makeup for my wedding! Louie did such a great job and was very professional and provided great insight into style. She made sure to keep everyone on time and adhered to our tight timeline. My hair and makeup stayed for the entire wedding and reception as well! Louie was amazing! She was patient and paid attention to all the needs of my bridal party. One of my bridesmaids shared that she loved how Louie asked her what she wanted to highlight and focused on what would make her feel best. I can't express enough how thankful I am to have worked with Louie! I had originally been in contact with another vendor that had gone MIA and was mildly panicking. Luckily another friend was using Louie for her wedding makeup and passed along her information. Not only is she an incredibly talented artist who made me and my bridal party look and feel gorgeous, she is a pleasure to work with. She made sure we all loved our looks, gave last minute touch ups and our hair and makeup lasted all night - despite a windy photography session and lots of dancing. I felt gorgeous and can't rave about her enough. If you want a stress free getting ready process and a fabulous final look, Louie is the one to book!

Louie was so thoughtful in her makeup and hair for me and my family. I had my makeup done at 4am in the morning and it lasted me until my reception ended at 10pm! She made sure to take her time doing my hair so that the waves would set and hold for the nighttime. And she took extra care to set the makeup and it lasted me all day plus a power nap!

Louie was absolutely AMAZING! I went with two different looks for my engagement photoshoot and for the wedding day. Both sessions felt like a bonding sesh with a close friend, who is a talented MUA. My wedding & engagement hair and makeup was exactly what I envisioned and more. Highly highly recommend!
Louie was great! We had to find someone fairly last minute and Louie was super prompt with responding to our messages; it helped us feel less stressed. They did a great job with a variety of hairstyles and hair lengths. We got a lot of compliments on our hair!

I knew from hair and makeup trial for the wedding, she was going to be my HMUA for a number of reasons:
1. Louie is so cool, calm, collected, friendly, easy-going, and professional
2. She listens to your wants/needs and offers her opinion if you want it
3. She also listens to the wants/needs of your bridal party (I've had experiences with other MUAs for friends' weddings who disregarded the bridal party's asks)
4. She has worked with a variety of clients - I had a Korean/Telugu wedding and wanted a HMUA who had previously worked with both ethnicities
5. Is responsive to emails/texts/phone calls
6. Is punctual (AM makeup for the bridal party started at 4am and she was at the hotel by 3:30am to set up and get started and PM makeup started at 5pm and she was ready at 4:30pm)
7. She doesn't pressure you to do anything that you don't want to do
8. She provided pockets of oases during a hectic time (during the makeup trial and during the wedding, which I will be forever grateful for)
Louie was amazing for both the trial and the day of the ceremony. She was attentive to details and my concerns. When I had questions before the ceremony she was attentive and understanding of my questions. I felt beautiful the day of my wedding and Louie helped me feel that way.
I was a wedding guest for my friend’s special day. I loved my makeup, Louie paid attention to the details and made appropriate recommendations ensure the make up look glamorous and suitable for the occasion. She’s also very attentive and knowledgeable in skin care before apply makeup which is a plus! I will definitely recommend Louie for wedding makeups!
Louie was great! She really took in and understood the looks I wanted and delivered exactly what I was asking for. Both of my makeup looks and hair for my 2 traditional Bengali wedding events looked amazing, and completed the outfit. Would love to work with Louie for any future events.

HI Everyone My name is Louie Takahashi. The owner of LT beauty by Louie Takahashi.
I was born in China, and grew up in Tokyo, Japan. I flew over to NY for pursuing my dream as a makeup artist when I was 20 years old. I have attended Makeup Designory NY Campus to learn techniques of makeup and hair. I have done a lot of fashion photoshoots and runway. I stepped into bridal industry 4 years ago. I am great at American Weddings, Asian Weddings and Indian weddings. My goal is to make all the women feel great and beautiful on their special day, because we women deserve it.
