Lubbock Wedding Officiant is available for elopements, civil unions, single religion, interfaith, non-religious, and non-traditional ceremonies. Dr. Duemer is also available on short notice if you or your spouse is awaiting an imminent military deployment. Dr. Duemer is familiar with all the paperwork and processes necessary to certify your marriage, and he is happy to submit all the required documents to the appropriate county clerk.

I moved to Lubbock in 1999 to take a position as an Assistant Professor. All these years later I’m still here, now as a tenured (Full)Professor. Lubbock has been a wonderful place to live. I am licensed through the Universal Life Ministry to perform weddings. I welcome and will officiate at weddings of any faith, mixed faith, or no faith. My prayer is that we can all live together where we respect and value each other. I do not consider myself a minister or clergyman, rather a ‘citizen’ who has the extraordinary privilege to officiate weddings.
