What can I say…Lucas is the freakin BEST. He was very responsive during the months leading up to the wedding and gave us some great ideas/tips based on our wedding details (vibe, interests, # of guests, etc.). He’s super friendly, laid back, and has a great variety of song lists to look through. During the reception his timing was excellent—anyone can play a song, but knowing when to play it to get the right response from the crowd is talent.

I cannot say how awesome DJ Lucas was! We loved that he shared our taste in music and was happy to custom taylor all of our wedding music to fit our style. He brought in a classy DJ booth and modern light set up. He was excellent at reading the mood of the room and getting our guest up and dancing. I cannot say how fantastic our entire experience was with him. He thought of everything!

I am not exaggerating in even the slightest when I say our wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was had it not been for DJ Lucas. My now-husband and I got married in a multi-level facility (dinner downstairs, dancing upstairs), which Lucas was not only accommodating with, but was excited about the unique floor plan, which got us excited as well. Lucas was so kind, fun and a calming presence on the day of the wedding. We called a few audibles, which he had fun with. The vibe Lucas creates is so wonderful and fun, our guests were trying to swarm the dance floor before the first dance! The top compliment I received after my wedding was "your DJ was incredible". If you need a DJ for your wedding, look no further. From the moment we started communication with DJ Lucas, we could tell how fun he is and how much he enjoys what he does. He was extremely professional, flexible, and thoughtful throughout the entire wedding planning process (including two COVID-related delays!). DJ Lucas provided a variety of helpful Spotify playlists for us to scroll through and rank for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor song choices. He even mixed some custom tracks for our father/daughter dance and entrance music. On the day of our wedding, he was our first vendor to arrive in order to set up and prepare for our party. Once our event started, it was obvious that he took all of our preferences/requests into account and filled in the rest with his own unique flare. DJ Lucas is a legit spin DJ! He will not just plug in a playlist and let it go. He actually reads the room and adjusts in the moment as needed to keep people happy, energized, and dancing. It was apparent that he was having a great time throughout the whole party, which amplified the good vibes for our guests all night. As a result, our dance floor was our literal dream come true. We didn’t care much about many wedding formalities, but the dance floor was our top priority and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Even some of our parents and older guests who literally never dance at weddings, loved it and danced the night away. To top it all off, we had friends telling us all night, and even weeks after the wedding, how much they loved DJ Lucas. Let me just TELL YOU how freaking amazing Lucas London is! He blew my expectations out of the water for our wedding! I was super worried about our wedding being lame/awkward because it was a dry wedding. Lucas made me feel 100% comfortable and confident that it was all going to be okay and was still going to be fun... and it was beyond fun! I honestly didn’t know that much fun was possible being a dry wedding! He played very appropriate and fun music and knows very well how to mix, transition songs, and knows how to read a vibe of the crowd. So many people were coming up to me during the reception and many days after asking who my DJ was. I would not change a thing about my wedding BECAUSE of Lucas. If he can make a dry wedding as fun as ours was, I can’t imagine a wedding that wasn’t dry! Please, please, please book DJ Lucas London!

We had to transition (due to Covid reservations) from the DJ we originally hired to Lucas London. He came highly recommended by our original DJ. He instantly clicked with us, was very easy to talk with and understood exactly what we were looking for in the evening without even a meet and greet in person as we’re in Florida and he in NC! He nailed it! Everyone raved about how great the music was all night long, the variety he played, the old school jams and the sing alongs! Everybody partied all night long !

I can’t say how amazing Lucas is as a wedding DJ! Lucas was part of our wedding day on 11/07/20. He was present for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and he was great! Wow! I cannot say enough good things about DJ London Lucas. He was hired for my daughter’s wedding at Chestnut Ridge in Canton, NC on 9/19/20. From the set up and ceremony processional to the very last dance of the evening (along with wedding party introductions and several very special dances in between) — DJ Lucas London was phenomenal. The instrumental music during the guest seating at the chapel along with the ceremony processional music sounded awesome. The DJ provided the microphone for the officiant and helped make sure that guests could hear the full ceremony. Music during cocktail hour and dinner was perfect and the DJ kept music at a nice volume level during dinner so people could visit. Mostly though, the biggest brag for DJ Lucas London would be after dinner when the wedding party, family and guests hit the dance floor!! The night was filled with excellent song choices, outstanding music and nonstop dancing. It was out of this world and it was everything the bride and groom had hoped for! The dance floor was packed the entire evening and there was never one minute without people on the dance floor celebrating! DJ Lucas London kept the night going with fun upbeat dancing music and he added just the right amount of slow songs as well. Everyone had an amazing time and the DJ received an abundance of compliments from guests! Chelsea and Ryan wanted a fun, outgoing DJ with a great personality to emcee and to provide an excellent sound system to play upbeat energetic songs because they knew that the music could make or break any wedding celebration. DJ Lucas London lived up to all expectations!! He is truly a talented DJ and emcee. Thank you for making Chelsea and Ryan’s wedding so much fun for everyone!! We had a blast!

I cannot say enough about Lucas!!! Our original DJ had to step down two weeks before our wedding and Lucas was more than happy to fill in. He was full of energy and ideas. Not only was he funny and entertaining, but he also played all of the jams! Our small wedding of only 30 was on the dance floor all night, many of whom I did not think were going to be dancing. I wish we lived in the area so we could book him for our next event. Thank you Lucas! HIGHLY recommended!!

Lucas was absolutely fantastic! We stepped in at the last minute when our previous DJ cancelled on us! If we would’ve known he was out there we would’ve chosen him first! He is super easy to work with and really gets the party going! Our guests still rave about the music and how much fun they had! Do yourself a big favor and book with Lucas!!

DJ Lucas London is awesome! We decided to last minute switch our bachelorette/bachelor party to our little backyard wedding instead and he was super accommodating! He helped us stay on a time schedule and everyone loved his song choices-we danced the entire night long! I would highly recommend him!

What an AMAZING DJ!!!! Lucas was hands down the best DJ! He did a great job keeping the dance floor packed, he could read the crowd and switched off songs that people weren’t feeling quickly. He played all of our favorite hits and mixed and mashed songs. It was so much fun! The DJ really sets the vibe for the whole wedding and I can say we definitely had a party! We got a ton of compliments on him and he was worth every penny we paid. Super professional and nothing to worry about! Upon first communicating with Lucas, he sent a gif from The Princess Bride. That is when my husband and I knew it was meant to be. Lucas was so incredibly fun and with a name like Lucas London, he was meant to DJ! He accommodated all of our special request, and got everyone, including my gran, to MOVE. We had a blast and he definitely had a group of us throwing it back to middle/high school it was fan-friggen-tastic! 10/10 would recommend Lucas in a heartbeat!

One of my groomsmen loved Lucas so much he offered to fly him out to LA to DJ his wedding next year. I think that says it all, but in case it doesn't. 1) Lucas played straight BANGERS. Banger after banger after banger. The hits, the classics, the underrated, the completely forgotten. I need to know every single song he played so i can remember them all and cry. And when the crowd wasn't feeling a song, Lucas improvised. He read the room, and if after a verse people weren't loving it, he'd adjust. I'd say that only happened like twice tho because on the whole everyone was RAGING. 2) Lucas was a thoughtful and engaging performer. He took requests, and was just pleasant for the 4-5 hours he played 3) in a pinch, Lucas also provided sound equipment for our ceremony. Apparently we didn't read the fine print where the venue said they didn't provide that stuff. With like four days notice Lucas was able to assist us. Thanks Lucas for being a big part of us having the BEST WEDDING EVER. The 2019 knot award for best of was definitely deserved

Lucas is THE BEST. We’ve had so many comments from our guests that he did an absolute fantastic job. He is the chillest to work with before our wedding day and had everything organized. We met at a local brewery as a first introduction and was relaxed talking through it all. He was able to make a mix for the father-daughter dance, and was able to make last minute tweaks (within days of the wedding) to make it probably the best father-daughter dance Yesterday Spaces has had. Lucas has a Spotify account with playlists that are organized to the flow of a wedding (pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail, reception, etc.) and was really helpful with deciding on the type of music we wanted. He ultimately was able to feel how our guests were reacting to the music and made it a party the whole time. He also had some good ideas that made the night a little more special for us. We will definitely hire him again if we need someone to get a party jumping!

All the stars for Lucas! He went above and beyond my expectations. I am pretty easy going and gave him free reign to provide a lounge feel for our intimate wedding (30 people). I let him know specific songs to play during the ceremony and he NAILED IT with which portions to play and when. Our exit after our vows was just perfect! Our wedding ended up changing tunes from a lounge feel during dinner to dancing afterwards and he transitioned the music to our guests vibe seamlessly. DJ Lucas is THE BEST. Everyone at my wedding danced their face off. Transitions were incredible - I even got texts from my guests the next day saying how great he was and how “We literally were dancing the entire time and then every transition were looking at each other like WTF... DJ Lucas London was PERFECT! More than anything else, we wanted our wedding to be as much fun as possible and he nailed it. Our guests raved about him during and after the wedding - we're still getting compliments a month later! He read the crowd and kept people on the dance floor the entire night, literally until the very last minute. He did a great job directing guests the whole night, and really got everybody out of their seats during introductions, which we weren't expecting but absolutely loved. From the moment we booked, Lucas was quick to answer questions and made the reception planning process SO easy (he even provided a template for us to plan out the order of events + associated music for the reception, and spotify playlists with song suggestions for different moments through the evening… for people with crazy schedules trying to plan a wedding, this was uh-mazing). More importantly, he got to know us and remembered the ways in which certain songs were meaningful to us (and incorporated this into his emcee’ing). On the day of, he was professional, organized, fun, and 100% a team player with our other vendors. He knows how to nail transitions between songs and built up the energy the whole night. Most wedding DJ's play songs... Lucas creates experiences. From the cocktail hour, through dinner, and finally in getting EVERY guest (even my husband's grandfather in a wheelchair) out on the dance floor, he went above and beyond to create the perfect vibe (we couldn’t have done this ourselves).

The first thing Lucas asked me was “On a scale of 1 to 10, how much of a party do you want?” and I knew he was the right guy for the job. We didn’t give him much to go on, all we knew was we wanted people up and dancing and he succeeded. I also had zero clue what kind of music to play for the reception, he gave me a couple options and they were great. We had two toddlers at my wedding and there were able to be Guest DJ’s up on the stage with them. Hilarious and cute. Thanks Lucas for giving me a Level 10 PARTY!

Lucas knows how to throw a party! My wife and I enjoyed his DJ and emcee services more than we could have ever imagined, and it made for a fantastic time for everyone in attendance. Lucas’ ability to blend different styles of music in a playlist to get literally everyone on the dance floor was incredible. Even the folks with two left feet were seen busting moves the likes of which had not been seen since Neil Armstrong in ‘69. Thank you Lucas!

First and foremost, we had the best DJ at our wedding! He made everything super simple, was very responsive, and knew exactly what he was doing. We worked with him in Spotify to create a couple playlists of songs that we liked so he got our general vibe (a little bit of every genre), then he took that and rolled with it flawlessly! Then we had a short call a week before the wedding to go over all the details and that was it. Once the night got going, he read the crowd really well and did a great job of playing music that got everyone up and moving. Even in the NC heat, everyone was up and dancing :) You can't go wrong with Lucas!!

Lucas did such an amazing job as DJ at our wedding, I would highly recommend him to any couple! When we started planning our wedding, he sent us a Google doc outlining all of the instances where music would be played during our wedding day. He worked with us to figure out exactly what type of music we wanted during each portion of our day, and allowed us to make special requests. I also really enjoyed the format that he utilized for the reception: following the cocktail hour, Lucas had all the guests surround the dance floor for when my husband and I made our first appearance as a couple. This way, when we went directly into the first dance, all of our guests were around the dance floor so that it felt very intimate and fun! Also, after the father-daughter and mother-son dances, I really liked how Lucas asked all the guests to join us on the dance floor for a dance with the couple, which was a great transition into the dancing portion of the evening because all of our guests were already on the dance floor with us! I can't thank Lucas enough for giving us such a wonderful wedding!

Planning a destination wedding can be a little more stressful but DJ Lucas London went above and beyond his job as our DJ to make sure we had the best day possible. He guided us every step of the way and gave great advice throughout the planning process. He was always available to chat and had sample playlists for every situation to give us a good idea of what he thought matched our vision. We picked special songs for the ceremony and first dances but let him do his thing for the rest, and he lived up to his promise that he’d make sure we’d have a rockin’ dance floor the entire night. We had a wide range of ages there, and he managed to keep our dance floor full all night! He even got the entire party to do the “love train”...good times! He made planning our wedding easy, and I can’t thank him enough for the fun he helped create! Trust me, DJ Lucas London is who you want for your day!

DJ Lucas London truly has a gift for DJing! He is so much fun to work with, does an amazing job emceeing, and knows how to get every single person dancing! Not one person stayed in their seat - everyone from our friends to my husband's grandmothers were cutting a rug! He even initiated a Love Train that got literally every guest involved. Plus he knows how to read the crowd and mixes songs in a way that keeps it fresh and the energy going. It was truly amazing - not something you see a lot at weddings! After attending 8 weddings last year, I was the matron of honor at a wedding Lucas DJ’d at and he was by far the best DJ I’ve seen! He is upbeat, positive, and knows how to get the party going! I felt like he always knew the right songs to play to appease the different ages and get everyone involved. I don’t see a lot of wedding dj’s mixing songs but Lucas is awesome at this and doing killer transitions and hyping guests—Highly recommend him!!

DJ Lucas London did such an amazing job DJing our wedding at The Cabin Ridge. My husband and I have very different tastes in music, and Lucas was able to frame the whole evening to hit both of our tastes and the tastes of our guests. With 100 guests ranging from 10 to 90, he made sure everyone was having a great time. Lucas was great! He spent hours going over our playlists for the wedding. He covered every detail and asked about things I hadn't even thought of doing. He suggested that we have our secret last dance, only the two of us, while everyone else was preparing for our sparkler exit. We loved having that moment to ourselves. So special. Lucas is a wedding EXPERT! He spent a good amount of time getting to know our music tastes, which was really important to us. He executed our wedding flawlessly. He is an excellent listener, and was able to tailor our night exactly how we imagined - and then some! Lucas was phenomenal! He was a pleasure to work with in the months leading up to our wedding and delivered an exceptional product for our reception. We live in Florida and got married outside of Asheville, NC; so finding a local DJ that we could count on was imperative - Lucas did not disappoint. Nearly all of our guests have raved about Lucas and many (if not all) have commented on how it was the best overall wedding experience they've ever attended. Lucas knew just the right song to play at just the right time and our wide array of guests were entertained all night. We can't thank Lucas enough and would highly recommend him for any future weddings, receptions, etc. If we could have given him 7 out of 5 stars then we would have!

DJ Lucas was awesome to work with! He ran with our ideas and listened to our song requests. We wanted our wedding to be a fun dance party and he definitely delivered on that. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding and we know DJ Lucas played a big part in that. Best night ever!

After calling around, Lucas was the most excited and knowledgeable DJ we talked to. He was great with communicating through email, text, and calls. His forms made it easy to outline the event and tie music to it. Also, it was lovely meeting him in person two months before the big night. We had a very expansive song list and particular music vibe for our reception, but Lucas was happy to accommodate and make our playlist perfect. Before the reception he was on time and set up flawlessly. During the party, he was an energetic MC and smooth DJ. Lucas played what we wanted and kept the energy where it needed to be. As a final act of awesomeness, Lucas stayed longer than his contractual hours and partied with us into the morning!

DJ Lucas did an amazing job at our wedding! He did a particularly good job at reading the room and playing music that got people up and dancing while still playing our requests! Would absolutely recommend to a friend! We are very picky about music and have heard some super awkward Djs in the past, but this was not the case with DJ Lucas.

I would give Lucas 10/5 stars if I could! My newly husband and I knew from the first phone meeting we had with Lucas, how excited we were going to be to have him has our DJ! He knew just how to get everyone of our shy friends and family out on the dance floor. He continued to check in with our wedding planner to make sure we were on time-line and if anything needed to be held off for a few moments the guest would have never known, because he was quick to continue keeping the party alive! I would highly recommend him and use him for any future parties! He fit right in with our crowd of friends and felt like one of our own. You could tell he knew what he was doing and he does a fantastic job have making everyone happy.

We searched long and hard to find a DJ who would know exactly how to keep our wedding fun. We are SO lucky to have found Lucas. He took the time to get to know each of us, and heading into the weekend, we had no fear that he would deliver. He is an excellent DJ and can mold into any music genre but excels in what we wanted...edm, house mixed in with wedding classics. Not only does he deliver music, but he served as a great emcee that helped direct our guests through the night. You will not be disappointed and really don't need to look any further. This guy is for real! most weddings struggle to keep people on the dance floor, but with Lucas, I can guarantee you won't have that problem!!

Lucas was great to work with! He was really good with communication and worked with us to find music that all of our guests had a blast dancing to. He went above and beyond working with us and our photographer to get everyone who was dancing in one place for a photo that I'm sure will become a great memory.

Lucas was amazing from the first call to the last dance. He listened to what we wanted for each part of our wedding and made great suggestions to round out our playlists. At the wedding, he was especially good at reading the crowd so that at any given point all of our friends and family were feeling the music and having a great time. Seriously, many of our family members and older guests even said they might not normally have danced to some of the music reserved for later in the evening but the DJ had set it up so well that they couldn’t help but keep dancing. Everyone had a blast and that dance floor stayed poppin, thanks to Lucas!

Lucas was phenomenal- my husband and I had a small wedding at the Omni Grove Park Inn Inn Asheville, NC with 50 guests ranging from 9mo old to 70+ and kept the party alive the entire time. He was incredibly perceptive to our requests and took a lot of time to really understand the overall feel we were trying to achieve. He arrived 4-5hrs early to ensure ample set up time and allowed the reception to flow incredibly smooth. Great on the mic, mixed songs flawlessly, and his energy was a hit with all of our guests. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

DJ Lucas Joy is incredibly professional and talented. We had certain family and friends singing live songs and he was on top of contacting them as well as planning for the ceremony and reception. During the dancing he read the crowd so well and kept the atmosphere very upbeat, lively, and fun. His equipment is all very high quality and he is a phenomenal guy to work with. One of the rare occasions I wish there was a select six-star rating (five just isn't enough).

DJ Lucas was AMAZING!!! He was exactly what we wanted in a DJ for our wedding. He kept us and our guests on the dance floor all night - which is just the kind of party we wanted! Cannot say enough about what Lucas did for us even last minute! To start, with a last minute booking he was very thorough and attentive. I was comforted by a detail oriented phone conference with myself and my fiancé before the wedding, going over all notes in his well thought out questionnaire he had us fill out prior. As a result of his planning we had zero doubts about his capabilities going into the wedding and he did not disappoint day of. As we were planning our wedding in Charleston, SC, we knew that great music was absolutely critical to make it a fantastic party. Lucas is a master at making a great party come to life! Leading up to the wedding, we spent time talking to him about what we were looking for in our wedding music... he asked so many great questions and got to know us, and the party absolutely reflected that. He builds the party slowly over time and reads the room incredibly well. Our dance floor was full from the moment the dancing started until the end of the night. It was the party we hoped for, and we can't thank Lucas enough!
