About this vendor
Hey there! My name is Josh, and my wife Chase and I own Lucas Studios LLC. Along with an amazing team of passionate and talented artists we call friends, we are here to work closely and personally with you to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments on your special day. Whether it's photography, videography, or even our photo booth, you'll have an experienced and caring professional who will be there for you every step of the way.
In reality, there's a million photographers and videographers out there, and I'm just another one of them, but what I think you'll love the most is that I'm truly dedicated to capturing your memories, moments, and unforgettable snippets in time. Aside from my silly demeanor, I'm very comfortable as a wedding photographer, and my team members reflect every bit of passion I have. I am confident in my style as a journalist, and if you review my website, you'll see I specilize in those little moments. We'll have fun at times doing poses and staged photos, but what you'll really love is all the photos and video footage we capture of your wedding that you never saw.
I have shot weddings professionaly for over 9 years, and started my passion about 11 years ago! Four years ago I met my closest and most cherished friends in college, all artists who share that passion with me to this day. I was born and raised in Oregon and love every corner of our state, and though I love traveling, it will always be my home. If you're looking for someone who might end up your friend after working together, I like to think I'm your guy. If you want to see if we're a good fit, or even if you just have some questions because planning a wedding can be so stressfull, let's chat on the phone or over video chat! I'm more than happy to go over your timeline, questions, and the endless details that can go into a wedding. Let me take some stress off your shoulders, you don't even need to book me :)
My team and I appreciate your consideration from the bottom of our hearts, and we hope to hear from you! Whatever it may be, let me be your new friend in the wedding industry. Text me anytime!
Congrats on your love!!
All Our Love,
Josh, Chase, and the Lucas Studios Team

Josh was great to work with and the photos turned out amazing! Before the wedding, Josh was responsive and helpful, especially with planning the timeline of the day. He and his wif...
e are super friendly and were great to have on the day. Both helped add some calm to the hectic day, especially with family photos before the ceremony. Josh captured some great moments and we love the pictures. We love the bright, colorful style of the photos. We really enjoyed working with Josh and highly recommend him to anyone!
Josh and his team went above and beyond for us. They were incredible-- they kept to shot lists, their upbeat personalities fit in seamlessly with our event, and not one batted an e...
ye when the rain came, our families were crazy, or the schedule went sideways. The photographs we later received were resplendent; we still receive compliments on them all the time! They are truly photos that will last a lifetime and given to us by people who were so kind and helpful on the most wonderful, stressful day of our lives. I have already recommended them to friends who have also used their service and will continue to do so! We will definitely be using Lucas Studios in the future.
A brief additional note: if Josh ever mentions bringing Chase - his lovely wife and assistant, do NOT hesitate. She was an angel, constantly holding my dress, reminding me to breathe and drink water, and even helped us completely unbidden with some of our event set-up, which was totally unnecessary and not at all what they were there to do. I continue to feel SO blessed to have had her, and Josh and Steffi, as our wedding photography service.
We loved working with Joshua for our wedding photography- his work was amazing, and he was punctual in his turn around time for editing our photos.
We would highly recommend Josh! His photos are wonderful and his photography skills capture every precious moment between you and your partner. The photos you receive make you feel...
like royalty! We had so much fun with our engagement and wedding photos, Josh is a true professional and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you imagined. We plan to hire him in the future for all our photography needs!
Where to even start! I'm not going to lie, my fiancé and I were on the fence about spending money on a videographer. But once we talked to Josh we were blown away by his honesty, k...
indness, up-beat personality, and his attention to what we needed and our budget. Leading up to our special day he was constantly in communication with us and nothing was too much for him. He gave us everything we wanted and more! His awesome fiancé was his assistant and she was SO personable! Always smiling and making sure me as the bride was comfortable and smiley.
On our wedding day, besides the obvious of our first look, I didn't even know they were there! Waiting to see the final product of our cinematic video was super hard but when we saw it... I cried and both my fiancé and I were beaming with happiness at how great it was. Truly. 100% honesty right here. I'm telling you, you NEED Josh's services to make your wedding day memorable. To be able to go back and relive your wedding day... there is truly nothing greater than that. So thank you, THANK YOU, Josh, for making our wedding day so incredibly unforgettable... and now we can go back and see for ourselves!
