All 200 people at my wedding were up dancing till mid-night to a variety of music. Outside of the main event the planning and music selection help was so helpful. Jerry one of the guitarists gives you a link and when ever you think of songs through your planning process you add it. For the areas in was not sure what kind of music to play he helped me pick it out by sending me emails of sample songs. Dan the lead singer and MC at my event was on point! They sang our first dance song "Have I told you latly" by Rod Steward and it was magical. This band will not let you down. Go see them at their monthly show case live, meet the band and you will not be disappointed.

We worked with Michael (who is an amazing coordinator and even better person) for some initial questions and then went to Neck of the Woods to watch their showcase (they do this monthly in San Francisco - go check out the free show!). We were sold immediately. The performance was amazing and covered the entire music spectrum, which was extremely impressive. We decided to sign them as a 7-piece band right away for our wedding date. The process was extremely easy, and you’re given an online band page to fill out the information you need and any notes you’d like to add in there. The whole process, from first communication to final pre-wedding chat was easy, relaxed and, most importantly, fun. We can’t speak highly enough about how polished their process is - it’s clear that they’ve done this before. The band was nothing short of perfect on our wedding day. We simply guided the music selection with what genres we wanted and didn’t want, and they took on the rest. Gabriela was one of our lead vocals and also our MC. It was flawless. They rolled with the punches with us, never pressured or stressed, and made sure every step of the day was executed perfectly. They rocked out and our guests couldn’t keep off of the dance floor, and they happily played to the crowd the whole time. We can’t emphasize enough how amazing the music was, but also how amazing the MCing and coordination were. Our day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without them. I'm here to tell you they absolutely live up to the glowing reviews--HIRE THEM! They are professional, organized, and most of all SO TALENTED! Our dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night and it was because they kept playing hit after hit and they were so amazing. I cannot recommend them enough!!! When we began the wedding planning process, we knew we wanted a band but speaking to friends who paid $10-15k for their wedding band we were starting to think it wouldn't be possible. My mom randomly found them, and we were all happy at how affordable they are (and we were within their radius where they don't charge a travel fee). Throughout planning we worked with Brian, who was great! The website they use to have us collect our thoughts and put all the details in one place was a huge help. Fast forward to the big day, and the band was INCREDIBLE. From the guitar player who play our ceremony music, to our amazing lead singer/band leader and everyone else, they were just so amazing. All of our guests had SO much fun dancing, and many people came up to us to tell us how awesome the band was. The best part? Our wedding went until midnight, so knowing that most of the older folks would have headed home by then, I requested that the band spend the last hour playing fun throwback 90s/early 2000s music for us and our friends. I half expected this to not happen, but then I heard them start playing "Pony" by Ginuwine and I pretty much died. I mean come on. We both highly recommend hiring them, they made are wedding incredible and so fun for us and our guests!

We went with an eight piece band and after the wedding I have no regrets spending a little bit more than we'd planned for. Our guests danced the entire night and still talk about how great the band was. It as so much fun to watch them perform. Gabby MC'ed and was perfection. They even let my brother in law, who studies percussion at Yale, play a song with them which was the highlight of his night! They have detailed contracts and documents explaining everything you'd need to know about booking a band. Their band planning page was GREAT and allowed us to keep all of our notes about what we wanted out of a band in one place. I would book them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to all my couples getting married on the west coast. Thank YOU guys so much for helping make my day unforgettable.

The best part of the process was the portal page we were given. We could upload our likes, dislikes, timeline, names of important announcements, etc. What a great planning tool. AND MAN DOES THIS BAND DELIVER WITH SOUND. It's now been over a month since our wedding and the number 1 talked about thing was how good they were...and we agree. They played what we asked for, things we didn't but based on our preferences loved., and really did a great job moving the night along. Our only negative...we wish we knew what we know now! We would shorten everything else to have more band time!

One of the things we loved about them is their flexibility and adaptability to schedule and request changes. They use a site to send them updates and then Coso passes the information to the band so they are prepared. So their organization is great, but we were also huge fans of their performance as well. The ladies who played strings for us were able to play all five songs we requested (pop, rock, country songs) and were flawless at it. Then when it came time for the band they were very professional during the dances and everyone loved them and all of the songs they played. We had people on the dance floor from beginning to end and it made the whole reception that much better. We would absolutely recommend the eight-piece band and string duet and for the price, they were worth every penny. Thanks again for making our big day a lot better Coso and team!

not like it and no one was up dancing at all. We requested to change the songs and the genres multiple times throughout the night. I sent my wedding planner as well as my bridesmaids but they just continued to play their own songs. It was sad, but they ruined our night. Many young guests left early because the music was so slow and not-upbeat. The people who enjoyed it was probably in their 60s, but we wanted the wedding to cater to ourselves, the bride and groom. Even we didn't enjoy the music one bit. And music usually sets the tone of your event too.

at the band members would be different in So Cal. They were equally good. Two members of the band played soft music prior to the ceremony, and then there were 5 at the reception. Gabrielle, the lead singer, is an absolute jewel . Mike, the drummer, was our primary contact and he captured all of our wishes to a tee. They got most of this mixed-faith crowd on their feet for a hora! You can't go wrong. They're worth every penny.

He responded quickly to emails and our phone conference with him was great- he gave us ideas and suggestions when we asked and was more than accommodating for anything unusual we asked for. I have no idea how things went for the band to get there and set up, so I'm assuming it went smoothly because they were already set up and playing when I showed up. Mariela was our main singer and out MC and she was fabulous from start to finish. She came out and met my bridal party before announcing them and kept the energy up and the schedule for the night moving. I got SO many compliment on the band and everyone said it was the best party they had been to! Cost for value was not matched in any other band we looked at. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends!

ad a crowd - they had a fun but relaxed vibe while the older attendees were present, but by the end of the night I was crowdsurfing surrounded by my closest friends singing Journey at the top of our lungs. That was a memory I hope to hold onto forever and it is truly priceless. before the event, the band invited us to a private audition where different combinations of their 12 piece ensemble, played all sorts of different genres and recognizable songs. We were blown away by their sound, energy and versatility. We worked with Kevin to find the best solution for our event and budget. We landed on a 6 person ensemble for 5-6 hours. Kevin was super helpful in recommending songs and a schedule based on his wedding experience and also encouraged us to recommend songs that were important and fun for us. The band was great about plugging in our songs to their set lists. During the reception they rocked the house. They did a great job MCing and keeping great flow! They also set us up with a killer pianist to play during the wedding ceremony and even played piano cover versions of 3 popular songs we wanted to incorporate into our program. They learned songs for our night and really engaged with the crowd. We danced the whole night and would hire them again, best price you will get for this kind of live band.

However this is also your wedding day and every dollar counts!! 1st perk: The LDB does live rehearsals once a month in San Diego, and all over California. This was perfect for me because I was really hesitant to book a band I've never heard in person. We went a saw them live at the Tin Roof and they rocked the house. Immediately we knew they were the type of band we were looking for. They played all types of music and genres and a mixture of old and new. For our wedding group, this was exactly what we wanted. The dance floor was rocking all night long. The singers were energetic and interactive, even came and danced with us. The band members were also so lively, the sax player came up and down the dance floor which was awesome! Kevin, the manager and point man, was very easy to work with. The portal they use keeps everyone organized and on the same page, leaving little room for failure. He was always available to reach with questions and made sure we followed up about a week out so there were no loose ends. Our wedding day turned out absolutely perfect and the live music was nothing sort of amazing. Our ceremony started with a string trio of violins and a cello. We then had a jazz trio for cocktail hour, with a guitar and piano combo. For the reception we went with the 8 piece band. I would definitely recommend splurging for as many artists as possible. Although they can still rock the house with a 4 piece, each addition does make a great difference to the overall vibe. If anyone is looking for a wedding band no matter the size or music style you love I would 100% go with the Lucky Devils Band! We are so happy that we did. Thank you for an amazing job!!!

and’ and Lucky Devils delivered. We had a six piece band including two singers, drums, guitar, keyboard, and saxophone. They played three hour-long sets. They started with music that was geared more towards our parents’ generation but played music that got everyone on the dance floor right away. Over the course of the night, the music transitioned into more contemporary songs. They were able to play a great range of music from Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder to Justin Timberlake, Prince and Pitbull. Everything they played sounded amazing. They did a great job reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged with the music. We first went to listen to Lucky Devils play a showcase in San Francisco and took note of our favorite band members. They made it very easy to work with them by providing an online form that allowed us to enter our favorite and least favorite songs and all event logistics. A couple weeks before the event we had a phone call with Jefferson. He was very easy to work with and understood our goals. Jefferson provided the MC service and did an amazing job. He did not try to be the center of the event but he did a great job making introductions, including pronouncing some difficult names correctly! A couple of months before the wedding, we provided the band with a unique Beatles cover song for our first dance and they were able to learn it and did a great job with it. Our wedding was in an unconventional warehouse-type space, which presented some technical challenges. The band was able to address some technical difficulties cause by our venue without any of our guests noticing. The Lucky Devils are as professional as they are extremely fun!! A few weeks after our wedding, my mom is hoping to find a Lucky Devils show she can attend because she loved the music so much, and our friends all want to hire them for their weddings. If you want a professional, energetic, and great sounding band that will keep your guests dancing through the night, The Lucky Devils is the band for you.

the day. Honestly, this band is not just musically worth every penny, but one of the best and most professional vendors we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process. I'd gone to see them at a showcase in San Francisco, which I highly recommend doing if you're on the fence or even "band shopping." It's a great way to test the product and in the case of the Lucky Devils, their showcase was like a concert -- and in my case, it completely cemented that this was one of the best event bands I'd ever seen. I literally hired them that evening. It was one of the earliest decisions I made in the planning process (right after venue selection), and it was easily one of the best. I'd already been interacting over email with their manager, Jefferson, so I also knew that they were very professionally run, which also meant a lot to me. They'd also sent over a terrific demo CD (for free), which also had a very pro look and feel -- again, these things matter when you're talking about forking over several thousand dollars in a deposit to someone you may or may not ever meet in person. Anyway, all of this is to say that Jefferson/the band's responsiveness, handle on pre-wedding day logistics, and professionalism was a huge bonus to what I knew would be true: the day-of music kicked ASS. I actually hired the Devils to provide the music at all three "junctures" of the wedding: the ceremony, where I had a keyboard and violinist; the cocktail hour, where I had a jazz trio; and the wedding reception itself, where I had an eight-piece band. The musicians for each component of the wedding were absolutely top-notch. One thing to know is that the total band is large - it's more like a band version of a theater company than a band, in the sense that the people you see at the showcase may not play your event. But rest assured that whoever does will know their way around their instrument. The band that played my event was wildly talented and a lot of fun. I can't say enough about the quality of the music and their ability to keep people dancing on what was a long (but really fun) night! Finally, I'd be remiss not to note how accommodating the band was in incorporating live versions of songs that meant a lot to us as a couple. I had specific ceremony music requests, which were beautifully rendered, and we had the band play our first dance song (which they learned, and executed to perfection). The band went above and beyond to make our day as incredible as it was, and anyone who can should hire them. They're the best!

As it turns out, at the last minute I had a lot of input for the reception music :) as well probably unusual instructions such as to minimize formalities such no formal announcements. Michael was never fazed and worked with us to make the entertainment aspect of our reception just how we envisioned. Also at the last minute we dropped the bombshell that we'd actually like live acoustic guitar in the courtyard of our church as strings for inside the church for the processionals and recessional. Was not a problem for even being such a last minute request and Michael handled it (what seemed like) effortlessly for us and the strings were absolute perfection. All in all, I cannot fault the Lucky Devils Band at all as they were a complete joy to work with and highly recommend them!

was an excellent MC for the event. He made setting up what we needed easy and was a pleasure. The band has many members so the mood and feeling of what you want is curated to you particularly. My husband and I were lucky enough to go to a wedding 3 weeks before ours that also had the Lucky Devils playing and they were awesome! When they played at our wedding, they were just as awesome and perfect for the feeling and energy of the venue. I kept saying "Why wouldn't everyone hire them!" I found them after working my way through many bands and went with my gut. We spoke to Jefferson and his energy and focus made us know this was the band for us.
