They played an incredible range of crowd hits that are not the same 15 overplayed songs at every wedding!! They offered to learn our first dance songs for couple, mother, father so we wouldn't have to play a recording. They played songs I dreamed of but couldn't figure out how to fit into the flow. They did it all. Really an outstanding and talented band that gets people on the dance floor!

I cannot say enough good things about this band and neither could my guests. They got my party going and kept the dance floor packed. The energy was amazing and the musicians were beyond talented. Having a great band and live music was extremely important to me for my wedding, it was the one vendor I really wanted to splurge on and go all out on. Man was it worth it! The lead singer had an incredible voice that blew all my guests away and the band's vibe was instrumental in creating a fun, high energy atmosphere for my whole wedding. I know I relied heavily on reviews in my wedding planning process while booking vendors, so I'm trying to return the favor. Our guests commented on how amazing the band was. They played a wide variety of songs, but also respected our preferred genres, as well as those on the "do not play" list. ases in LA was huge to be able to get a sense of how they play and what configurations/musical styles were available to us.
The day of, they were able to provide our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music and were extremely flexible with our requests and preferences. We worked with one of their producers all along the way to ask (a ton of) questions and understand what our limitations were and how the band would perform during our wedding. We also used them for band lighting and a custom gobo light with our names/wedding date.
The Lucky Devils have a HUGE repertoire of music, and allowed us to explain in a very detailed way the types of music we liked/wanted, and were able to learn specific songs we wanted for the ceremony, reception, and first dance. They kept the energy high and the dance floor full all night – even during their breaks (when they played recorded music)! The lead singer acted as our MC and her enthusiasm was fantastic.
If I was able to, I would give them a 4.5 out of 5 because there were a few hiccups along the way. While the communication was excellent leading up to the wedding, in the month before the wedding communication suddenly became difficult which caused some stress, and caused us not to be able to fully customize our gobo the way we would have liked. The MC’s announcements were hard to hear, which wasn’t entirely the bands fault, but could have been improved. Third, the band played our first dance song live, which I would consider to be a good, not great, version of the song.
Despite the few small hiccups, which ultimately didn’t impact our amazing day too much, we were extremely happy with the band and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for live music for their wedding!

made the night. All of our guests came up to us to specifically to say how incredible the Lucky Devils band was and how much fun they had dancing with them. EVERYONE was on the dance floor! Even our less dancing-inclined guests were up there at some point during the night, and, when they weren’t, they were sitting watching and listening to the band. I specifically remember one moment where I noticed my elderly uncle standing right off of the dance floor just staring up at the band, smiling and mesmerized - he was so impressed!
Not only were they amazing musicians, but they were some of the kindest people and their energy just filled up the space. They were so helpful, so accommodating, and simply lovely — not only with actually playing but also emceeing, helping with speeches, and background music — to have with us on our wedding day! I can’t tell you how special we felt to have them with us. We had a 7 piece band, and the Lucky Devils also provided lighting for the stage.
From the start, we always wanted to have a live band at our wedding. And I know that our guests will be talking about the Lucky Devils’ performance any time that they mention our wedding.
And Sebastian was been so amazing to work with all of this time in organizing it all! While we sometimes got stressed or worried about other aspects of wedding planning (haha), we never felt worried about the music. We always felt so taken care of and in such good hands with him — and we certainly were in great hands!

I love that Meredith and/or Adam take the time to get to know my couples and what they have envisioned for their wedding day. While some vendors could be particularly pushy during a details call, Meredith and Adam are anything but. They are calm, cool, collected. Everything you truly want in a vendor.
As a bride myself, I now know just how stressful it can be to plan a wedding and the last thing you really want is a vendor that adds more stress. Lucky Devils Band is meticulous in their planning process and ensure you have everything you need from start to finish to ensure you and your loved ones have the time of their lives.
I have coordinated a number of weddings with Lucky Devils Band and every time I have, guests have ALWAYS walked away talking about the band and asking for their information. It makes sense why--Lucky Devils Band is punctual, professional, and charismatic. Even if there are changes to the timeline on the day of the wedding, the team is always ready to pivot.
Though a band will always cost more than a DJ, hiring Lucky Devils Band is something you will NOT regret.

nalize until December and by then their prices had gone up. Regardless, they were super easy & so much fun to work with. We worked primarily with Sebastian as our producer, who ended up being the guitarist for our band as well. My husband knew that he would be sort of a Groomzilla when it came to music, but he was actually so pleased with the end result. The only hiccup was our bridal party intro. We had prepped it as if there would be a long walk; unfortunately it rained and due to the indoor venue change, the timing was all off. But it was seriously such a small issue and not the fault of the band at all. All of my guests complimented the band. They made the party so much fun. I did feel a little bad for some of my guests bc it was SO LOUD by their tables, but again this was due to a last minute rain change to indoors. They played all of our requested songs perfectly. I wish we had recorded them like a concert, it was so much fun!

e it a total breeze. You're provided with an event dashboard to share your music preferences/all pertinent information, making it easy to iterate on ideas leading up to the event. Mike was super responsive via email, providing us with guidance and suggestions where we needed them.
For our ~120 person wedding, we ended up booking a single musician + piano for the ceremony, 2 musicians to play jazz during cocktail hour, and the 8-piece band for our reception.
I can’t even begin to explain how incredible an experience the band provided. I lost count of how many guests came to us absolutely raving about the them — truly, people could not stop talking about how amazing the band was, from the quality of music, song choices, and insane level of stoke brought by everyone on the stage. People who typically don’t dance were up and having the time of their lives on the dance floor. Even when the band took a 30min break to eat, guests were still on the dance floor totally vibing to the DJed music (which included SO many of our favorite songs that we had shared via our event dashboard).
I cannot recommend booking Lucky Devils Band enough! My husband and I are already dreaming of having them back for our 10 year anniversary :)

He had a wealth of knowledge about song choices, announcements during the evening, and just all around how a wedding and reception should look (not just the music components!). His knowledge went so beyond what I've seen before. He knew all kinds of genres, and he had all kinds of suggestions based on what little guidance we gave him. So 10/10 recommend working with Mike if you can. Also, there were no hidden fees. They were super transparent up front about costs. NOW THE FUN PART - THE ACTUAL MUSIC. The actual music was perfect. The ceremony music was beautiful, and all of our guests said as much. The reception was a smashing success, due mostly to the band's fabulous energy and ability to read a room. There was not a single second that I was not on the dance floor, and most of my guests would say the same (except the lame ones). They knew how to get the party started, and how to keep the party going.

eception ever! the musicians and vocalists were each so talented and their music selections were absolute crowd pleasers. Lucky Devils provided an 8-piece band, and the dance floor was packed for a solid 4 hours! On breaks, they piped in music that we had chosen, and their read of the room and when to pump it up, or slow it down was pitch perfect. We can't say enough about them! Steff, the group leader was terrific in all communications leading up to the night, is a spectacular vocalist, and a real pro . It was easy to see that the band was also enjoying themselves, and responding to the crowd, engaging with the guests, and delivering on every promise. We have so many people calling us in the days after to thank us for such a great time, but so much of the credit goes to Lucky Devils and their management of the music for the celebration. We very highly recommend!

were planning the event from afar.) A vendor of mine recommended the Lucky Devils Band, as they had played at her daughter's wedding. I didn't think twice before booking them!
I can confirm that the Lucky Devils Band not only puts on a great show, they are also extremely professional. Steff (the band manager) was extremely easy to communicate with. After answering all my questions, I had access to a portal to update with the wedding details. For ease, I created several Spotify playlists for Steff to use/review, including one playlist of our top requests.
I met with Steff maybe 2-3 times total over the course of the year, with the last meeting about a week before the wedding. Steff acted as our wedding emcee, and kept the event rolling right on schedule.
In terms of the show -- first, I was impressed by the stage set up! The band brought some colorful up-lights, which I wasn't expecting! It gave the stage a great vibe. The whole band was on POINT -- they played many of our top requests. At one point I walked away to grab a drink and they band started in on The Weeknd's Blinding Lights and I had to jump back onto the dance floor. (Also, BIG UPS to Paul -- we loved his falsetto and he truly killed it every time.)

sappoint! They were absolutely incredible and I can literally say that they went above and beyond our expectation. We knew they would be good, but they honestly blew our minds with their talent! We worked with the manager, Mike, and from the beginning, he was super reliable, responsive, kind and friendly, and answered every single one of my questions, while also providing very great suggestions. This band is worth more than the price- trust me. We hired a 7 piece band with Lucky Devils, including ceremony music, cocktail music, and the reception. Our guests crammed the dance floor every second the band played, and at one point there was not a single guest sitting at the tables. It has now been over a month since we got married, and people still continue to compliment and talk about how amazing our band was. Thank you so much Lucky Devils! And if you are on the fence about hiring this band, just do it, you will not regret it!

that), and they were so flexible and accommodating despite my disorganization. I didn't have a particular vision in mind, but somehow they made my vison come to life which was incredible. Also, their piano guy did a solo of XO by John Mayer for our "last" dance, and we absolutely loved it! It put the perfect personalized touch on such a special day.

all, Kevin was so great to work with from start to finish - he was so friendly, accessible, and flexible with our 3 date changes due to COVID (ugh). He put together the most perfect music for our wedding - we had a guitarist for the ceremony who played exactly what I requested, an instrumental trio for the cocktail hour that played fun jazz and covers of pop songs, and an absolutely AMAZING 6-piece band for the reception. I gotta tell you, having a band at your wedding (rather than a DJ) is totally the move. It turns the whole thing into a party!!! One of the band members was the MC for the event as well, and she did an amazing job. I am so so so happy we went with Lucky Devils, and I would recommend them to any and every couple for their wedding!!!
