Holy cow, this band was absolutely incredible. They kept the dance floor packed and their live music sounded way better than a DJ, even for the huge crowd pleaser songs. The MC was so on top of all of our announcements for specific parts of the wedding (first dance, cake cutting, speeches and the hora). They even played the Hora live! We had such a good time on the dance floor and our guests said it was the best band they had ever seen at a wedding. I would absolutely hire them again, they were professional and perfect.

Spotify and thought they were a perfect fit. There really is nothing like this in reno for local artists, so most of our band came from San Fran. Leading up to the event the Lucky Devils were very professional and got back to our wedding planner pretty quickly. The are quite expensive, but we (I) really wanted a band to dance the night away, so we had to have them. The day of the wedding we had a huge snow storm and only half the band made it to Reno from San Fran. Luckily, the lead singer and MC of our wedding made it. PHEW! She and the other 2 bad members were AMAZING!! She did a great job organizing and keeping the night going. They didn't let the first dance or the planned dances go own too long and got down to the real fun. They were amazing. The only downside was that we didn't get a refund due to the other missing members due to the contract and had to pay for unused hotel rooms, and the sound system would cut out or make loud noises during speeches. But it was perfect for the music.

ndards for live music in our wedding. My husband is a musician and many of our friends are too. This group exceeded every expectation. Everyone was talking about how fun they made our wedding. They were just as professional as they were talented. They were diligent about a phone call prior to the big day and had us fill out questions on our online portal to make sure they knew everything we wanted. They considered all of our requests and knew exactly what to play to get everyone dancing. So glad we booked them and we truly can’t recommend them enough!

What an incredibly talented and personal group. Jerry lead the planning for our wedding and thoughtfully listened to our requests (we had a lot) to customize an entire playlist.

Dan Lovelock was the lead singer and he is exceptionally talented and serves as a great host for the entire list of festivities.
We were blown away at the effort they put into performing songs for (2 first dances) as well as the range they showed in performing songs from an extremely long and diverse playlist they weren’t necessarily familiar with beforehand.
Please don’t select a ‘generic’ band for your wedding. Lucky Devils will tailor this event to your wishes and then exceed your expectations. Our entire family and friends are still raving about them. They made it unforgettable.
Most importantly, they were great people. Not in a rush to leave or move onto the next stop. They took their time to make sure everything we wanted played was excellent and came through on time.
You’d be very wrong to choose anyone else to book your wedding. They also play live once a month in downtown PHx. Go check them out for free. It’s worth it.

Everything LD’s can’t perform from the playlist you submit will be pre-recorded on an MP3 player and played during the breaks - SUPER GOOD SERVICE.
The flexibility the LD’s provide on their performance schedule is also a big plus.
Jefferson is great to deal with. He is professional, caring, patient, explains well and responds to phone and email messages within a reasonable amount of time.

stop dancing the entire night, and that was due to their amazing performance and song choice. We were so happy that they were able to play so many of our favorites, and they even invited our cousin to play bass with them for a song which was a major highlight. There were a couple things we forgot to mention on our planning page, but our emcee did a great job of making sure everything we wanted happened throughout the night-- including an impromptu nod to John Williams with a Jurassic Park interlude. Your band or DJ is such an important part of the night, and the Lucky Devils were perfection from planning to execution.

From the first email to the last dance, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Jefferson. He made the entire booking and planning process a breeze with his responsiveness and attention to detail. The music was one of the most important aspects of our big day, and we knew we were in good hands the moment we spoke with Jefferson. The band managed the music throughout the entire event, and we couldn't have been happier with everything. From pre-ceremony acoustic guitar, to relaxed cocktail music, to a customized playlist during dinner and lastly the full band sets, it was absolutely PERFECT. I'm not lying when I say this is the best wedding band I've ever seen, and I heard the same thing from our guests all night long! Almost a month later, and our guests are STILL raving about the band. I've had multiple people reach out to me asking how to book them. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. If you are reading this review, you have found the best wedding band out there!! Our sincerest gratitude goes out to Jefferson and the Lucky Devils for making our wedding night so magical.

everal phone calls with them prior to the event. My fiancee was hoping for a Sinatra vibe with lots of actual Sinatra and related music. I also had requested several current pop songs, some of which were listed on their website as featured songs. They didn't play a lot of Sinatra nor did they play much current pop or dance music. The musicians themselves were very good and I much preferred having the band to a DJ. Overall, a great band but just didn't play much that we wanted to hear or that people wanted to dance to.

nd this past weekend and it was probably the best decision I have ever made. We knew these guys were going to be good - we hired them before we even went to a preview to actually listen to them! - but we still weren't prepared for just how incredible they actually were on our wedding day. I don't think I left the dance floor even just for a second while they were playing. I may even have neglected greeting my guests because I just couldn't stop dancing. People came up to me all night shocked asking me where the hell I found them and how were they THIS good?! I was also blown away by the level of professionalism they provided from the get-go. Brian was wonderful to work with, seasoned and really knew his stuff. On the day of the band showed up early, got set up and ready without me even having to lift a finger (I had no wedding planner, so this was quite refreshing!) Even down to cueing the music at the right times and transitioning songs, it was flawless. Thank you Lucky Devils for making my music dreams come true!!!

The BEST part - they have so many different talented musicians that you can get your ceremony music (we did a string trio), cocktail hour music (we did a guitarist), dinner music (we did a mixture of guitar and DJ), MC, and then dancing music (we did the 6-piece live band) ALL from The Lucky Devils. It's basically one-stop shopping for the music for your entire evening and you can count on each musician to be extremely talented. They even learned new songs for us based on what we wanted played (ex. we wanted unique songs for our mother/son and father/daughter dance) and the band learned those songs for us for our night - they are so flexible and accommodating! Our dancing took place in a wine cave and the band knew exactly how to handle the acoustics. We also got our ceremony microphones through them, our MC, and uplighting for dancing. I was shocked by how affordable they were, especially compared to other bands in the area. Our dance floor was packed the whole time and we couldn't be happier with how the music turned out for the entire evening - look no further and book them!

iends and family such an event! We've had many compliments about their energy, the quality of their playing, and the life they brought to the evening from our guests both on the night and since. We booked them as an 8-piece and I can definitely say that it was worth going for two singers - one male, one female. The two of them had enormous range and wonderful chemistry which very much resonated with the crowd.
The preliminary process was also very easy, particularly facilitated by Jefferson and the band's professionalism. We filled out their website with details as we got further along in the planning with a long list of the sort of songs we would like to hear, but asked the band to use their judgment. They did an excellent job and really kept the flow of the evening well. They also played beautiful renditions of the songs we selected for first dance and father/daughter dance. Jefferson was a consummate professional as the MC, keeping things flowing well between speeches while allowing space for the other speakers to shine, including some private reassuring words that were very much appreciated!

I will say that communication with them up until the event was not superb. These people are artists, and they put on a great performance, but there were some delays in communication that made me as the bride a little anxious. That said, it was nothing major and their performance well compensated for any communication delays!

ILLED IT. Leading up to our wedding day they were so organized, flexible, responsive and easy to work with. Everything was perfect, they nailed all the first dance songs and were phenomenal performers. Everyone LOVED them. So many guests came up to tell us how great the band was. Not only in the quality of their sound, enthusiasm, and skill but also their aesthetic prowess. The mullet was literal fire (I would be letting down all our friends by not giving it the appreciation and respect it deserves). Our guests were busting moves all night long. I think out of all our vendors Lucky Devils Band exceeded my expectations the most. We really hope they perform at another wedding we attend so we can rock out with Lucky Devils Band some more!!!

ng up to our wedding were easy and smooth. We were given a personal web page so I could easily update and make changes all through the process. We had a live phone call the week prior to our wedding with Mike, and we just seemed to gel with him and we knew we were in good hands. From the moment they stepped on stage and until the last song, they just rocked out and had everyone on the dance floor. We were so blown away by everyone's talent and every one of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had every been to because of the band. Their pricing was also super reasonable, and they were worth every single penny!

Communication was easy, thorough, seamless and pleasant. Their energy, talent and professionalism is top notch. Don't let the classic attire fool you, Lucky Devils can play the best of the Rat Pack, get funky with Prince, fist pump with top 40 or dust off their boots with some country. My guests were so impressed, I am still getting compliments and rave reviews about them.
If you are in need for an MC - Jefferson rocks that role. He is charming, funny and keeps the programming on track.
I highly recommend them for any occasion that needs live music.

t. From the very beginning, Brian and the whole team made it very easy to plan the night and coordinate everything we needed done. We ended up having them also MC our entire night and that made it even easier.
The best part of the Lucky Devils Band is that they need very little direction from you, just your likes and your dislikes, and they take it from there. The music selection was on point and their talent and energy was through the roof. It may have been cliché, but their ability to get our whole crowd on the dance floor singing and dancing to Shout was straight out of a scene of Wedding Crashers.
One tip, GET THE SIX PERSON BAND, Brian on the saxophone was amazing.

poke with a couple of bands and even saw one live at another wedding. Finally, we were recommended Lucky Devils and we checked out their showcase in San Francisco and were so impressed that we booked them the next day!
We ended up selecting a 6 piece band, 2 string musicians for the ceremony, and MC services. Leading up to the wedding, Jefferson was very helpful and even spoke to me twice on the phone ahead of time to make sure the schedule and logistics were all sorted out.
The day of the wedding was even more amazing than we could have imagined and we owe so much of that to Lucky Devils. Tamika, the lead singer, was excellent. The band made sure there was a fun loving atmosphere the whole night. And not to mention, I think it was the best rendition of the Horah I've ever seen.
We received so many compliments from our guests after the wedding and everyone specifically mentioned how much they enjoyed the band. Would 100% recommend Lucky Devils to anyone planning a wedding in the Bay Area.

d as the MC, and she went above and beyond to keep all items happening on time. She also read the crowd well and got all of our guests on the dance floor. All of our guests were raving about the band and continue to talk about how great they were. We had SO much fun dancing the night away and know it would not have been possible without The Lucky Devils. If you are considering using them for your big day, I highly recommend it!!

I had to really stay on top of the band to make sure they were learning our special dance songs (which they advertise that they do) and then day of wedding they were 2 hours late- ...
causing an hour delay to our wedding and changing the ceremony songs. Then during the night the MC was mediocre at best and the transitions from their play time to their break time when they plugged in the iPod weren’t smooth (crackling over the speakers until the groom told them to put the iPod on). Apparently they were having technical difficulties? There were other issues throughout the night. Whatever the deal, the entire wedding day was stressful with them. When they played music, it generally sounded good.

The trio at cocktail hour was also amazing. Had them on the pier and they really set the tone for the evening.
Easy to work with, detail oriented, great entertainers!

They took extra care when listening to our musical tastes and they played a perfect mix of the wedding classics, with newer music and all the songs we had requested. They also did our ceremony sound and everything went so smoothly. I was so happy to have professionals behind the sound for that part! Jefferson did a great job and checking in with us every step of the way and was always quick to respond and answer questions. They really want your event to be perfect and will go out of their way to make sure it is so.

r a lapel microphone that wasn’t used like they said it would be throughout the event and almost charged me extra for cocktail music that was not even noticed by guests and lasted less than an hour. On top of it all, I bought them 4 nice hotel rooms for the night because it was a destination wedding. My biggest regret is not working to find a consultant that reached out to me directly and cared about making sure the band was setting the atmosphere for the entire night. Make sure your consultant has time for you before you give them your business.

As a longtime musician, I was worried about getting quality music at our wedding. We read some reviews about The Lucky Devils Band, saw them play a showcase at a local venue, and immediately called the next morning to book them. The musicians in the band are all super talented, they have a huge and diverse lineup so can cater to your specific musical preferences (and wedding size), and the MC they provided did a wonderful job throughout the reception. the best night ever! Brian was even cool enough to let us sit in and play with the band for a couple blues songs, since we’re a musically talented couple. I would for sure book these guys again for any major event that needs any kind of music. They also helped with background music and had a small duo play during our cocktail our. Thanks Lucky Devils!! It's been one month since the LDB performed and DJ'ed our wedding and we still hear the best compliments from all our guests about how amazing they were. Mike, one of the drummers...
and managers of the band, was one of the most professional and friendliest vendors we worked with throughout the entire wedding process. Since our meeting at the showcase, he worked so hard to make sure that the music and DJing for our reception was exactly to our liking. He was very easy to communicate with and super flexible. We got an 8 piece band (guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboards, saxophonist, 3 singers) for a very affordable price that fit our budget with no problem, and our guests are still talking about how it was one of the best musical performances they've ever seen in a wedding. Even the manager of our reception venue mentioned that in his 15+ years of managing the venue, the LDB were by far the classiest musicians to ever get on his stage. Lindsay, one of our singers, was the MC and brought a special charm with her that made our day unforgettable. The other two singers, L Young (who is a popular youtube singer if you want to see how ridiculously talented he is) and Cameron sang our favorite hits just as good, if not better, than the originals. All the musicians were clear masters of their trade and they sounded so amazing together.
On top of it all, we had an Arabic wedding and we wanted to make sure we had a good amount of Arabic music throughout the reception. I was pretty skeptical on how Mike was going to pull this off. All he asked for was a list of our favorite Arabic songs and that he would take care of the rest... and let me say, he and Jesse (guitarist and sound-manager) DJ'd those parts of the wedding just as good as any other Arabic DJ we would've hired. I must say I was very shocked at how great they were!
Overall, there isn't a musical scene that these professionals can't rock out. A special Thank you to Mike for working with all our crazy particularities and making our special day unforgettable. I could never imagine going with another musical vendor for our wedding day than the LDB!
