Great band!

After a long search, my wife and I engaged Lucky Devils Band for our wedding reception this Summer. From the preparation to the actual night itself, Lucky Devils was extremely professional and delivered a knockout event during the wedding reception. Music is a big part of our lives and we shared with Lucky Devils in advance our preferred music genres which they played perfectly. Thank you Lucky Devils Band.

We could not have been happier with the Lucky Devils!! One of our biggest priorities in planning our wedding was that the night would feel like an epic dance party. The Lucky Devils executed on that to perfection. We had one call in advance of the wedding with our coordinator, Kevin, and discussed general musical likes and dislikes. The band was able to take that and curate an absolute perfect set list. They kept the energy high and building over the course of the night, keeping the dance floor packed all night and culminating in a perfect final song. By far the biggest compliment we received from our guests was about the quality of the band. Could not recommend the Lucky Devils highly enough.

If you are looking for a band for your wedding, Lucky Devils is the best. They made the reception so much fun. They are really easy to work with.

They were incredible! Kevin, who helped us organize the band for the event, was very communicative, helpful, and honestly fun to chat with. The band itself was so professional and instrumental in making the wedding run smoothly. We had a solo guitarist for the ceremony, jazz trio for cocktail hour, and 7 piece band for the reception. Plus they did the sound system for the officiant’s microphone during the ceremony. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—everything got set up without me even noticing and the whole day went off without a hitch. I usually am a bit of a control freak and it was so nice to be able to just trust them to do their job well. And they knocked it out of the park! So many guests complimented the music, and one of my guests even begged them for an encore! All this for less expensive than some of the DJ quotes I got. Highly highly recommend.

The 2 most important vendors for our wedding were our photographer and our band. It was super important to us that we have a band that could read our guests and keep them on their feet. Lucky Devils was INCREDIBLE. Our families, who have high expectations when it comes to live music, could not stop talking about how much they loved them. We had 2 string instruments for our ceremony, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour, and a 7 piece band for the reception. Even with all those elements, we still came in way under what we had budgeted (based off what is typical for our location). Their prices couldn't be beat and neither can their quality. Everyone we worked with during the planning phase was so kind and helpful. All our questions were answered, and the band had a web planning page that made sharing information (schedule of the day, dislikes in music, music preferences, and special dance songs) super easy. We loved how interactive the musicians were with us and our guests. It was a magical night, and people were upset the venue had a "hard stop" at the end of the night for noise levels. Our guests kept chanting for 1 more song!! Thank you Kevin, Tom, and everyone else from Lucky Devils that made our night so magical.

Incredibly amazing high energy band!! They were the best part of my wedding and kept everyone on the dance floor all night! So grateful for them! Highly recommend 10/10.

FIVE STARS. Where do I even begin with how much of a slam-dunk booking this band was!? When I got engaged I didn't know much about what I wanted my wedding to look like, but the one thing I did know was I wanted an awesome live band. I did a bunch of research (and went to one of their live shows in San Diego) and Lucky Devils Band was actually the first vendor I officially booked - and we went with the 9-piece. On our first call Kevin our producer actually helped us choose our wedding venue, which was another slam-dunk early decision. I didn't even know they had an events space and Kevin shared they had played at 148 San Diego shows in 2022 and it was his favorite venue by far (and the restaurant side was also where my husband and I had our second date! Easy, decision made). When you're choosing your vendors (especially those that you know will be a higher priced line-item), you want to go with people you can trust, and I trusted LDB completely. With a live band you don't provide a set list, you review the vibe and songs you definitely do or (arguably more important) definitely don't want played. On our prep call, we were going through our planning sheet and Kevin made a couple song suggestions that have been really popular lately with our age group recently. Sure enough, when "All The Small Things" started playing the dance floor was packed. Followed up with "Mr. Brightside" I looked around the room and had a moment where I was so appreciative of how GOOD they were. They were able to accommodate a few other specific requests (I really wanted them to do "All My Life" by KC and JoJo during dinner, and on the dance floor later they helped my husband surprise me with the Top Gun serenade with all his fellow Navy officers in uniform). I actually didn't realize until after I booked them that two of my friends (whose weddings I attended in San Francisco and Big Sur and were also at my wedding) also had LDB perform for theirs. Of course they did, those weddings were so fun. One note: if your venue doesn't have a stage (ours didn't but it wasn't a deal breaker bc it was solvable) - RENT ONE. They aren't cheap but it elevates the entire experience and makes it feel way more like a party / show.

Trust the process with this band. They are a collective! You tell them how many piece band, give them your song lists and spotify playlists and they show up day of so prepared, bringing the energy, MCing like there is no tomorrow. We had the best time with them. They did everything for us including ceremony music, mic for sound, EVERYTHING. Their sound was amazing and our guests absolutely loved them!!!! Would hire them again if I could! There were literally songs that I had to look over because I thought they were the recording, the singer was that good. They really made our wedding day come together and worked so well with our wedding planner and venue space. So honored they are a part of our memories on our special day.

We are SO happy to have hired The Lucky Devils! Having a band really added an amazing touch and I can't imagine working with anyone better than these guys. Not only did they make our wedding an absolute party, they also understood the exact vibe we were going for. They were able to play every song we requested and they completely got us. Lucky Devils and Eric made our wedding night unbelievable! Through the planning process up until the last song of the night, they were amazing and so easy to work with. Eric was so quick to answer all of my questions and was so helpful when I got stuck on song selections. On the day of, I didn't have to worry at all if anyone was having fun bc Lucky Devils kept everyone on the dance floor! If you want to work with a band that knows how to cater to every mood throughout the wedding and reception, you should hire Lucky Devils!

We hired lucky devils for our wedding in July 2022. From start to finish the process was easy & seamless. For sure our easiest vendor! Eric worked closely with us throughout the planning process on the various logistics, and was always clear on timelines, requirements, etc. One of my favorite things about the experience was that they offered so much great talent across various areas. Through Lucky Devils we hired a string duo for our ceremony, a 9 piece band for reception (3 of which played during the cocktail hour as well), MC during reception, and a late night DJ. All performances were incredible and our guests have raved about the band again and again. The reception band also learned a unique version of a song for our first dance, and absolutely knocked it out of the park. While my husband and I were dancing to it, we couldn't believe how amazing it sounded. The dance floor was jam packed the entire night and they are amazing at reading the crowd and keeping the party going. The lead singer even brought me on stage for a surprise karaoke which ended up being a blast. I would recommend Lucky Devils to absolutely ANYONE who wants a live band for their event.

The Lucky Devils Band was amazing! We booked them for our September wedding in Rancho Santa Fe! We worked closely with Kevin to book the band after seeing them perform at the LA and SD showcases, and we are so happy that we did! The band is incredibly talented and we were very impressed with all the musicians and singers. They brought the energy from the wedding to the after party and played a variety of pop/rock songs to keep our guests dancing the entire night! They had our guests singing along to throwback hits and everyone ended the night wanting more. We booked ceremony music, cocktail hour, reception band, and after party DJ. For the wedding reception, we booked the 8-piece band (w/ sax and trumpet), and adding the horns was definitely the right move! The one caveat is that we added on the DJ service for our after party, and in hindsight, we likely would’ve just brought our own speakers and had our friends play music on Spotify. Kevin made the entire process so easy and their booking and communication portal was efficient and organized for uploading our preferred songs, and various details and timeline. We are so happy and highly recommend the Lucky Devils Band! Our guests are still talking about them and people have already referred them to friends!

Lucky Devils got people on the dance floor that we have never seen dance before!! That is the sign of a fantastic band.

Lucky Devils Band was hands down one of my favorites parts of our wedding! Not only were they extremely talented, but they kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening. From our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dancing, they exceeded our expectations! Kevin was extremely helpful the entire process! 11/10 recommend Lucky Devils Band to anyone looking for the PERFECT wedding band :)

We were so happy with The Lucky Devils Band and all involved. Mike was so easy to work with and took the time time to answer any questions we had leading up to the event. Eric was a great MC/Guitarist and the 8 piece band was excellent. 11/10 would use again for an event!

Kevin kept us updated and at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. The talent and enthusiasm during their sets kept everyone on the dance floor up until the last possible moment. "The band was absolutely amazing! Firstly, such reasonable pricing for an extraordinary experience. Additionally, Kevin the band leader was phenomenal to work with leading up to the event, and made sure to know that he planned the music according to the vision my wife and I had for the event, both in ensuring he played the music we wanted to hear and avoided music we were hoping to avoid. They were concerned I booked the wrong band for our wedding because the price was too reasonable, and they thought I'd need to pay more to get a decent band. On the day of the wedding, my parents were floored by how awesome the band was. I'm so appreciative for the value the Lucky Devils brought to our wedding. Kevin was fantastic. He was so easy to work with, adding and subtracting services easily at my request (cocktail hour, number of pieces, MC or no MC, discussing ceremony options), and helping me understand what was possible/ideal. He made sure that the planning stage was seamless and that we heard the music we wanted to hear (and avoid the music we didn't want to hear). Amazing job.”

They were absolutely fantastic! Kevin was great for helping us plan and decide on everything for the day. The band got everyone dancing, the song selection was great, and they figured out a solution when it started raining a little without causing any issues at all! Incredible start to finish. We booked Lucky Devils in 2020 for 2021 and had to postpone to 2022. Mike was kind and accommodating through it all! The week leading up to the wedding, they were easy available for communication. We had last minute changed and they carried the wedding through seamlessly. And of course, the talent of the band! I think every guest came up to me (the bride) not to say congratulations, but to tell me how great the band is! And I agree. I have never seen a wedding with the dance floor occupied the entire night. They really made the event unforgettable.

When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, one thing we knew for sure was that we had to have a live band. We saw Lucky Devils Band perform at a live showcase and were blown away by the talent of the musicians and the overall fun vibes of the performance. Not only were we blown away by the quality of the performance, but by their affordable prices as well. You will not find a live wedding band with better rates. It’s awesome that you can customize your band size to fit your budget. We had a four-piece band which was the perfect size for our wedding of about 90 guests. Lucky Devils streamline the planning process by providing you your own band planning page where you can communicate your music tastes and wedding day timeline in an organized and concise way. You don’t have to sort through hundreds of songs or create an exact playlist. Instead, you list some likes and dislikes and let your band do the work, reading the crowd and selecting the perfect song for the moment on the night-of. Lucky Devils’ producer, Kevin, was our point of contact and was great to work with. In our final phone call, he made sure we were getting the most from our band by structuring the live music sets around our wedding timeline. Kevin also ensured he had a solid grasp on our music preferences. This preparation came through on our wedding day, because we loved literally every song they played! Kevin and The Lucky Devils have live wedding music down to a science. Lucky Devils also took care of our ceremony sound for a reasonable price which was a relief since it was one of those details we didn’t think of until the last minute. If you want your wedding reception to be a fun and memorable party, you need live music. If you are looking for a wedding band that’s interactive, professional, and sure to provide a fantastic performance (for a reasonable price, no less), you should pick Lucky Devils Band!

LDB was perfect! Starting from day 1 of communications and coordination to the very last song, everything was great. Every member of LDB that we communicated with was professional, respectful, and extremely kind. Everything about our experience working with Lucky Devils was amazing, from preparing for our wedding to the day-of. Every detail was thought through and covered, and it was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing the band had everything under control. The actual performance at our wedding was amazing - our guests kept commenting on how awesome the band was! We are SO glad we hired Lucky Devils and couldn't recommend them enough for anyone planning their big day!

My husband and I hired Lucky Devils Band for our wedding in May 2021 and had the best experience! We went to one of the showcases back in 2019 and had originally booked them for our 2020 wedding, but they were so accommodating when we had to move our wedding twice due to COVID. Kevin was so friendly and helpful the entire way through, and they have a really vast repertoire, which was great. We specifically wanted about half English/half Spanish songs at our wedding, and they brought an amazing Spanish singer (along with the English speaking male and female lead vocalists, who were great!). They also had an awesome sax player who went out into the crowd and got everybody pumped up. All our guests were raving about the band after the event, and we couldn't have been happier with the performance. Definitely one of the biggest highlights of the evening. Thanks Lucky Devils for making our wedding so special!!

I was very particular when searching for a band. I listened to demos, watched you tubes, and researched. I was convinced lucky devils was the right choice, and holy cow was I right! These guys are so good I would go to a bar and watch them on a normal weekend night. Everyone at the wedding had a BLAST. And the band members were just super cool and down to earth. The MC was awesome and knew how to get the crowd going. We did a 7 piece band it was so amazing. The saxophone/flute player was the hit of the night. The singers were amazing and nailed our key songs. And the bassist was killing it with is funky beats all night. We didn't want the night to end. Highly recommend Lucky Devil's if you're looking for a fun talented band for the night.

The Lucky Devils Band was AMAZING. Aside from their incredible talent, they were so easy to work and worth every single penny of their (very reasonable) cost. We had the entire band at our wedding reception and a string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Each and every musician was extremely talented and did a wonderful job. During the reception the entire band was so fun and all our guests had such an amazing time! I HIGHLY recommend using the Lucky Devils Band. I would absolutely use them again!!

The band was SO fun and I'm very happy we splurged on a live band for our wedding! There's just something about a live band (especially with brass!) that really gets a party going! All our guests had such a wonderful time dancing to Lucky Devils all night. We didn't really do a lot of the traditional wedding stuff, so we wanted the band to be a focal point of entertainment for our wedding. They delivered! All the musicians are crazy talented, and our guests are still talking about how fun the band was. The planning process was seamless, and their communication was wonderful. Our entire wedding was inside an industrial space in downtown San Diego, so we were nervous about the acoustics and echo. They set up early, sound tested, brought extra rugs, and it wasn't even an issue once the party got started. We rented our stage & lighting separately, and the band was super helpful in making sure everything was set up correctly. We had some scheduling quirks due to everything being in one space, and they accommodated our schedule perfectly. If there's one thing I would have done differently... I would have been more clear about the playlist. I submitted specific songs, artists, and preferences to our band planning page (a lot of songs from their website, so I knew they were reasonable requests), but I also gave them creative freedom to read the crowd and play what they think seemed right for the party. Looking back, I should have been more clear about how much creative freedom I wanted them to have, because even though I said that, my real expectation was that they would pretty much stick within the list we talked about. Don't get me wrong... they were still AMAZING (hence the very well deserved 5-star review!) and every single guest had a wonderful time. They did play a handful of songs from our list (and nailed them!) and we also noticed that they learned/ played two songs we requested that were a little out of the ordinary! They didn't play anything from our "do not play" list (yay!), and they took our genre preferences into account... but it was just one of those things that "only the bride & groom would notice" during the wedding. I didn't hear a lot of songs that I expected to hear - again, my fault. I would still 100% highly recommend them, but if you're like me (a little on the control freak side) then take my advice and be extra clear about your expectations so everyone is on the same page! All that said, you definitely want Lucky Devils playing your wedding! SO happy we did... I might be biased, but it was hands down the best wedding entertainment we've ever experienced!

The Lucky Devils far exceeded my expectations for our event. They were ON FIRE the entire evening. Everyone stayed on the floor dancing and the energy in the room carried over to the following morning. I would highly recommend them and hope to hire them again in the future.

The moment we watched them perform live, we knew we had to get them for our wedding. We hired them for our cinco de Mayo wedding and it was the best decision we made. Kevin, the band manager, was very flexible and so easy to work with. Dre, our singer, was soooo amazing! We loved how she interacted with the guests, her voice was phenomenal! The dance floor was never empty and our guests love them. Thank you guys for an awesome night. We couldn’t ask for anyone better!

One of the best in the business. They are always professional, and fun. The communication before and during the wedding is key and always makes for a smooth experience. We couldn't ask for more, with this talented crew of musicians!

We chose the Lucky Devils Band after seeing them perform downtown. We were so glad we did!! We were blown away, and so were all our guests. They handled everything smoothly, the day of, with some simple planning ahead of time on their website and a detailed phone call. People were DANCING, and having such a good time. Maybe the only negative is that they bar bill was high due to everyone having so much fun. Thanks Lucky Devils, you made our special day that much more memorable!

What an incredibly talented and personal group. Jerry lead the planning for our wedding and thoughtfully listened to our requests (we had a lot) to customize an entire playlist. Dan Lovelock was the lead singer and he is exceptionally talented and serves as a great host for the entire list of festivities. We were blown away at the effort they put into performing songs for (2 first dances) as well as the range they showed in performing songs from an extremely long and diverse playlist they weren’t necessarily familiar with beforehand. Please don’t select a ‘generic’ band for your wedding. Lucky Devils will tailor this event to your wishes and then exceed your expectations. Our entire family and friends are still raving about them. They made it unforgettable. Most importantly, they were great people. Not in a rush to leave or move onto the next stop. They took their time to make sure everything we wanted played was excellent and came through on time. You’d be very wrong to choose anyone else to book your wedding. They also play live once a month in downtown PHx. Go check them out for free. It’s worth it.

Excellent service. The preparation/communication line leading up to the big day is great. This is facilitated by an online account where you will list your desired playlist, payment information, schedule of events etc. Everything LD’s can’t perform from the playlist you submit will be pre-recorded on an MP3 player and played during the breaks - SUPER GOOD SERVICE. The flexibility the LD’s provide on their performance schedule is also a big plus. Jefferson is great to deal with. He is professional, caring, patient, explains well and responds to phone and email messages within a reasonable amount of time.

The Lucky Devils were absolutely OUTSTANDING! They did a great job of capturing all the music we like, but also giving guests great stuff to dance to. Seriously our guests did not stop dancing the entire night, and that was due to their amazing performance and song choice. We were so happy that they were able to play so many of our favorites, and they even invited our cousin to play bass with them for a song which was a major highlight. There were a couple things we forgot to mention on our planning page, but our emcee did a great job of making sure everything we wanted happened throughout the night-- including an impromptu nod to John Williams with a Jurassic Park interlude. Your band or DJ is such an important part of the night, and the Lucky Devils were perfection from planning to execution.

BOOK. THIS. BAND. I cannot recommend them highly enough! I myself almost couldn't believe the incredible reviews they have, but right from the start I knew they were the real deal. From the first email to the last dance, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Jefferson. He made the entire booking and planning process a breeze with his responsiveness and attention to detail. The music was one of the most important aspects of our big day, and we knew we were in good hands the moment we spoke with Jefferson. The band managed the music throughout the entire event, and we couldn't have been happier with everything. From pre-ceremony acoustic guitar, to relaxed cocktail music, to a customized playlist during dinner and lastly the full band sets, it was absolutely PERFECT. I'm not lying when I say this is the best wedding band I've ever seen, and I heard the same thing from our guests all night long! Almost a month later, and our guests are STILL raving about the band. I've had multiple people reach out to me asking how to book them. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. If you are reading this review, you have found the best wedding band out there!! Our sincerest gratitude goes out to Jefferson and the Lucky Devils for making our wedding night so magical.

We hired the Lucky Devils to play during our cocktail hour and wedding reception. They have a pretty extensive questionnaire to fill out in advance, which was good. We also had several phone calls with them prior to the event. My fiancee was hoping for a Sinatra vibe with lots of actual Sinatra and related music. I also had requested several current pop songs, some of which were listed on their website as featured songs. They didn't play a lot of Sinatra nor did they play much current pop or dance music. The musicians themselves were very good and I much preferred having the band to a DJ. Overall, a great band but just didn't play much that we wanted to hear or that people wanted to dance to.

It's pretty obvious from the hundreds of 5 star reviews that these guys are no joke, but I'll still add to the mix! We had the pleasure of having the Lucky Devils as our wedding band this past weekend and it was probably the best decision I have ever made. We knew these guys were going to be good - we hired them before we even went to a preview to actually listen to them! - but we still weren't prepared for just how incredible they actually were on our wedding day. I don't think I left the dance floor even just for a second while they were playing. I may even have neglected greeting my guests because I just couldn't stop dancing. People came up to me all night shocked asking me where the hell I found them and how were they THIS good?! I was also blown away by the level of professionalism they provided from the get-go. Brian was wonderful to work with, seasoned and really knew his stuff. On the day of the band showed up early, got set up and ready without me even having to lift a finger (I had no wedding planner, so this was quite refreshing!) Even down to cueing the music at the right times and transitioning songs, it was flawless. Thank you Lucky Devils for making my music dreams come true!!!

Pick the date of your wedding based on when this band is available. Yes, they are that good. Perfect song choices based on our requests; super organized in the time leading up to the day; incredibly talented, energetic, and kind performers. Your search is over.
