From the moment I tried the almond cake at my friend’s wedding, I knew I didn’t need to look any further! It was absolutely delicious, and our guests loved it! Thank you, Amy and Luckybird Bakery!

We hired Amy to make our wedding cake and it was absolutely incredible. Our guests are still talking about how yummy it was (which is rare for wedding cakes!) Also, the seasonal flower decorations on top are simply stunning and the cake looked as good as it tasted. We loved working with Luckybird Bakery and can't wait to pick up more cake for special occassions and anniversaries!

Wow!!!!!! Amy from Luckybird Bakery knows how to bake some good stuff! I actually had the pleasure of having Amy bake me 2 wedding cakes. One for 15 guests in a covid era small church wedding, and one after when covid vaccinations were available, that catered to 55 guests. Amy baked a Lemon Meyer cake and a Pear cake for me. Both were flavorful, highly professional and extremely beautiful. Amy's team also delivered the cake for me at the venue 620 Loft & Garden in Manhattan. Can't wait to use Amy and her Luckybird Bakery again for future events!!!

Luckybird was super punctual. I have personally met their delivery driver and she's the sweetest. Amy, the owner of Luckybird has the best personality. She brings this cool west coast energy to NYC (even though I think she's lived here for decades!). I think it's something about how fresh and beautiful (those flowers!) the cakes are as well as the vibe of Luckybird. I also love their employee, Stephanie--she's the nicest person ever. Luckybird is very professional. I've had them cater both personal and professional events. They're seriously the best. So many of my colleagues (and superiors at work!) now go to Luckybird for their holiday events and weddings. Can't wait for an excuse to get another Luckybird Cake. :)

Be warned NOT to patronize “Luckybird Bakery” of Montrose Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. They were suppose to deliver a wedding cake to my daughter Kristine’s Wedding on June 19th at 1 pm. They failed to keep their promise to do so. This was after many weeks and days of constant contact back and forth, confirming specific details, to make sure the cake would be perfect. When the cake did not arrive to the venue, Bryant Park Grill, at the pre-arranged time of 1 pm, the venue attempted to contact and call Luckybird Bakery many times without success of even getting a voicemail. I received an email at 8:44 pm (the 1st email telling me that there would be no cake delivery ) on the actual night of the wedding, as I was at the reception, telling me they were sorry but they had “ mixed up the date” in error and were asking me if they could deliver the cake the next day for an after celebration!!! Were they kidding me !?!?! So the custom made cake topper of “Mr & Mrs Floyd” along with the engraved wedding cake knife and cake server at this point were useless. Thanks to the failure of Luckybird Bakery of Brooklyn, NY, not to follow through with adequate customer service we had no wedding cake at my daughter’s wedding. DO NOT give Luckybird Bakery of Brooklyn, NY - ANY business !!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!! Got comments from all of my guests, even those that don’t love cake, about how amazing the cake was. I’m still dreaming about my wedding cake and looking forward to getting more cakes from them in the future!

We worked with Amy for our small wedding cake and it was delicious and so beautiful! We also did 4 tasting cakes and all were equally scrumptious! Everything was delivered on time and in one piece. Amy was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with!

These. Cakes. Are. Perfection. We had stumbled upon Lucky Bird through their gorgeous cakes on Instagram. Their use of seasonal fruits and flowers for cake decoration are absolutely stunning. For those of you who eat with your eyes first, dig in. Throughout the chaos of 2020, Lucky bird worked with us to make sure we had exactly what we needed for our wedding. Our guests raved about the Meyer Lemon and Raspberry cake we served at the wedding, and that was only the bottom tier of the cake. We took home a mouth-watering spiced poached pear cake topper that the two of us devoured the week following our wedding. There was no talk of freezing it for our one-year anniversary because it was too good not to eat now. Like I said. These cakes are perfection. Beautiful to look at, delicious to eat, and the perfect centerpiece for any wedding.

We ordered a wedding cake for our backyard elopement from Luckybird. Amy was great to work with and very prompt with email. We chose the Meyer lemon cake and it was delicious - Amy also chose lovely florals to complement the cake.

Luckybird made us cakes in two flavors for our wedding – vanilla rose and vanilla bean lemon zest (we ordered a mix of sheet cakes to cut and a tiered cake for display/bride and groom cutting). The tiered cake was gorgeous, but even more importantly – and unusual when it comes to wedding cakes – both cakes were delicious. Our guests were very delighted – so often, wedding cakes do not taste as lovely as they look, but the Luckybird cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful. The staff at Luckybird, specifically Amy and Mary, are lovely to work with and easy to get in touch with. They also delivered our cake to Litchfield County, CT, which is quite a trip from their Brooklyn bakery! I highly recommend them.

We had an incredible experience with Luckybird for our September 2019 wedding at MyMoon Brooklyn. We chose a 3 tier alternating almond and dark chocolate cake for our modest size wedding. We so appreciate their kindness and attentional to detail. They decorated our cake with the most beautiful figs, blackberries, and pomegranates, to represent all sides of our culture and families. We cannot express the number of positive reviews we received from our wedding guests and highly recommend their services for your special day.

Our wedding cake was AMAZING. We had a four tiered lemon cake with creme fraiche frosting and fresh berries with chopped pistachios in between the layers. It was delicious and every guest couldn't stop talking about how great the cake was. My mom and mother-in-law both mentioned separately how they wished they had more cake a week later! The cake was also decorated beautifully with fresh leaves and flowers. The tasting was amazing and we got to take home SO MUCH cake afterwards.

Absolutely love this place. We ordered our wedding cake here- strawberry lemon. You are able to have a cake tasting or order mini cakes to go in order to select what flavor you want. We communicated through email which for me was the best way. Floral arrangements on the cake where lovely. Good to know they get their flowers for the cake from florist we selected for our wedding " ROSEHIP" so truly everything flowed. The cake was delicious. All our guest raved about it. We even bought another cake a few days after the wedding to celebrate my sisters birthday "coconut "

Their wedding cakes are delicious, not matter what flavor you choose. We had a two-tier cake; one was pear and the other was chocolate almond, all with cream cheese mascarpone. The process was easy breezy and it was just what we wanted.

Without a doubt, Luckybird is the best tasting wedding cake I’ve ever had. We had such a great experience, starting with the tasting with Amy and Mary. They had these adorable mini cakes ready to go and even made sure to have extra so that we could continue to ponder over the next day or so. My sister came along and fell in love with Amy mainly because of her chocolate cake and rose buttercream cake alone. There were so many delicious flavors, it was so hard choosing just one, so we didn’t! We had one tiered cake and two smaller satellite cakes all of different flavors. Our guests loved them all but could not stop raving about the vanilla bean whipped cream and fresh berries. But it ended up being a lot of fun at the wedding seeing everyone sharing cake, to try all the different flavors. We have sent numerous friends to the bakery since the wedding, everything they make is amazing and they have the cutest little shop in Williamsburg. I can't wait for our one year anniversary to get another cake. Best of all, they were willing to work with-in our budget and provided the most beautiful looking cakes, they were everything we had wanted and more!

Luckybird made us the most gorgeous and also most delicious wedding cake we could have dreamed of! We had two years to plan our wedding and cake tasting was definitely our favorite part of planning-- the result of which was that we taste tested many, many cakes. Of the many wonderful cakes we tried, there was nothing quite at the level of Luckybird. The texture and flavor of the cake was so satisfying-- substantial without being heavy and not overly sweet-- and the fresh fruit mixed in with the frostings was so delicious. All the flavors were so good that we ended up choosing more than one (a different one for each tier): meyer lemon with raspberry, chocolate creme fraiche with raspberry, and vanilla with strawberries. Our guests loved it and also commented on just how beautiful the cake was-- it fit in beautifully with our natural outdoorsy aesthetic. During the planning, Luckybird's cake tasting itself was a lot of fun-- the bakery is super charming, the staff are wonderful, and they give you a lovely presentation of different flavors with plenty left over to take home. All the communication during the planning process was a breeze-- super responsive over email and always flexible and willing to accommodate various requests. Could not recommend more highly!

We LOVED our wedding cake from Luckybird. Amy and Mary were both very helpful throughout the process, helping us figure out which cake combo (tiered + sheet cake) worked best for us. We weren't sure we were going to do cake for our party but are so glad we did! It was exactly what we needed, beautiful and most importantly delicious!!

Lee Chappell from MyMoon recommended Luckybird for our wedding and it was FANTASTIC! We had 4 different flavor cakes and according to our guests they were all delicious! Unfortunately my husband and I did not get to try them all as we were too busy enjoying our wedding but the best sign of a good cake is that in the end when Lee gave us what was left from our 4 cakes it was just a 1/4 of our sprinkle cake which we enjoyed the next day! And they all looked beautiful!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Amy is a local baker in our neighborhood and we decided to get our wedding cake from her because her baked goods are SO AMAZING! She worked with our florist (Rosehip Floral) to create the perfect wedding cake with small berry accents and flowers that matched my bouquet. Her team delivered the cake to Greenpoint Loft and were very helpful throughout the entire planning process.

THE BEST EVER WEDDING CAKE. Don't think twice, just order with Luckybird. Not only is the cake so delicious (we got the Meyer Lemon Cake with fresh raspberries), but they are super easy to communicate with and the order and delivery went off without a hitch. Our wedding guests all raved about how beautiful the cake was, and then how yummy it was after they got a slice. It was the only thing I ended up eating on my wedding day - too much going on all day, but I made sure to get a giant piece of the cake! Luckily we got to eat some leftovers for a few days, and I'm still craving it right now!!!

My husband and I got our wedding cakes from Luckybird - we ordered three 9" cakes, and we were really happy with how everything turned out. The cakes were not only lovely to look at but also delicious. The delivery did arrive about half an hour early, which caused a slight scramble as we were not yet at the venue, but better early than late. They were very easy to deal with, and they were also very accommodating when one of our guests turned out to have a nut allergy. We were really pleased and would absolutely order from Luckybird again.
