Lucy is your girl!! She shot our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, boudoir, and our wedding of course and every session was a ton of fun and turned out beautifully! I initially reached out to Lucy based on her overall style (which I loved), but it's her knowledge of her craft that really pulls all of the pieces together the right way! She guided me through posing every step of the way, got my husband to have fun at our engagements somehow, and was the best hype girl behind the camera. Another aspect of working with her that I really appreciated is when wedding day got closer she sent us a quick questionarre that captured ALL of the details - family members, special items we would have with us, specific poses or group pictures we wanted, our timeline (to ensure she could get as many moments as possible captured), and others. Though most vendors would ask similar questions (I assume), her organization was fabulous and she made it SO easy for me (which is all a bride could ask for in those chaotic last weeks ;)). At the end of the day, you're looking at how your wedding day will be captured and I can say it'll be timeless, beautiful, true to who you are as a couple, and a ton of fun!! A final note that I hope isn't going to affect too many brides moving forward - we had a postponement due to covid restrictions and Lucy was not only understanding and helpful in that process, but she was in our top 3-4 vendors that we wanted to plan a new date around (venue, planner, LUCY!) . She HAD to be the one capturing our day! :)

If you're considering hiring Lucy for your wedding/engagement/literally anything where she is your photographer, DO IT! She is an absolute gem and very talented. Lucy was so easy to work with, she takes the time to listen to what you want while also making you feel relaxed and confident for your photos. She photographed our engagement and wedding, and we were thrilled with the results! Lucy pays attention to detail and is able to capture your most special moments with such a creative eye.

Lucy is such an amazing photographer! Not only are her pictures beautiful, but she captured the essence of our day so impeccably. I cannot thank her enough for being so communicative! She made the day run so smoothly and on schedule without it feeling rushed. I got all of the pictures I wanted and more! My family was so impressed that she even knew everyone’s name! Funny story, my dress ended up breaking open after sitting on it weirdly. LUCY-freakin’-STRUVE!! Everyone remember that name and book her for any and all events that you have for your life. Her vision is incredible, she is such a hard worker, and she has got the eye for detail! I have never met someone so organized and with so much prep work that she does on her end to set you up for an awesome photo session. Her response time is quick and she makes sure to give you updates along the way while you wait for your photo gallery to be delivered! She is just incredible and my fiancé and I could not recommend her any more. Lucy will coach you and tell you just how to pose and her sweet and fun personality helps to get you to feel so comfortable in front of her camera. We feel like we gained a friend! I never knew my fiancé and I could look the way we did in pictures-we are two very awkward people-but those pictures look so natural, airy, and fun! Our shoot with Lucy is something we will never forget and will always want to re-do. We have delegated her our future family photographer!! She is THAT good, y'all!!!!

When I searched for wedding photographers and found Lucy was free for our big day I was beyond excited! Her portfolio and work are beautiful but what I didn't know was how special she would be to our day. Hire this girl, y’all! I repeat, HIRE. THIS. GIRL! I reached out to Lucy a year and a half before my wedding date. Yes, you read that correctly. A year and a half before my wedding date! I guess you can say I’m a planner. Wedding photos were the most important thing when it came to planning our wedding, and once we consulted with Lucy, we knew she was “the one”! We hired Lucy for my bridal photos, our engagement photos and our wedding photos and I’ve got to say not once were we disappointed. Lucy is phenomenal at what she does. Lucy sticks to her word. Lucy goes the absolute EXTRA mile to give you the best experience you could ever imagine. Lucy listens to what you want as a couple. Not only was Lucy our wedding photographer, she was a bridesmaid, a coordinator, and a counselor all in one lol. There were many times I reached out to her about wedding stresses and about personal stresses/drama that had to do with the wedding. She really took the time to listen to me. I couldn’t thank her enough for being a listening ear. Our wedding party and family wasn’t particularly the “easiest” people to photograph, but Lucy really took control (in a sweet but firm way) and made sure everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. She helped us pick out our engagement session location, during the wedding reception she ran a couple times to refill my alcoholic beverages, and she even took pictures of me AND my daughter (the flower girl) during my bridal session. She didn’t have to do that y’all! But she did! And may I add that we took my bridals on the HOTTEST summer day in July! I was dripping sweat while taking my bridal photos and you literally cannot see ONE sweat beam in any of my photos. That’s fantastic. Lucy’s second photographer did amazing at capturing photos of my husband, our son, and his groomsmen getting ready the day of the wedding. If you are having any doubts about getting Lucy’s package that comes with a second photographer, I’m here to tell you, IT’S WORTH IT! I didn’t want just pictures of me getting ready with my bridesmaids, daughter, and mom. I wanted to be able to look back at my husband getting ready, too, with his special people by his side. The wedding is absolutely about the groom, too! Lol and Lucy’s second photographer was such a blessing! The second photographer also helps get different angles that Lucy may not be able to get. So it was nice to see the same moment of our wedding from two different views. We also ordered a wedding album from Lucy and it is the most beautiful album I’ve ever seen! So pretty to have in our living area for guests to look through. I love that Lucy let’s you look at your album before she creates the final product. She really values your input, which is one of the main reason we chose her. The album came in the mail in the cutest little box! My husband and I have so many beautiful pictures to put up in our new home, and that’s all because of Lucy. Lucy is one of a kind. Lucy will not disappoint. Lucy is not only our wedding photographer, but Lucy has become a lifelong friend, and we will forever consider her a blessing in our lives! Remember what I said in the beginning? Yeah? Hire this girl!!!!

Uhh... can I leave this girl 10 stars? You guys, I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed every single minute of having Lucy as my wedding photographer! She has such an eye for capturing photos, it is unreal! Lucy has been there every step of the way. With wondering what the heck you should wear for engagement photos, she says “I got you”( insert sassy girl voice) ,through making you feel comfortable and 100% sexy for your boudoir shoot, all the way until your wedding day when she captures a moment so perfectly and you think to yourself “wow that’s going to be a great photo”. Spoiler alert ,it will be. Lucy is worth every. single. dime. Thank you Lucy for capturing our day and our love so perfectly!

Lucy is a photography genius. My wife, myself, and the rest of our family were blown away how she captured the emotion of our day and our personalities with each picture. Not only were the pictures perfect, she navigated the dynamics of our extended families masterfully and earned their trust as a friendly, highly-skilled professional. I have had friends and family members in the past be worried about their photographer going into their wedding day. I had ZERO worries going into my wedding day and was 100% satisfied with Lucy and the quality of her work. I would recommend Lucy for any occasion wholeheartedly.

First of all: if you don’t hire Lucy, you’re seriously missing out on an AMAZING photographer and STUNNING pictures. She is the sweetest, most down to earth person and she does an awesome job at making you feel comfortable and confident during sessions. Seriously, she’s awesome. Lucy was our photographer for our engagement pictures, my bridals, and our wedding and the pictures we received were even more amazing than I imagined. She made everything so much easier, especially with having a husband who hates getting his picture taken. Lucy talked us through every step of the way and made us feel SO much more comfortable leading up to and during our sessions. And from the start I felt like she was more of a friend than a business I hired. She listened to every single picture request my family had (ridiculous ones and all) and was so organized with the whole process (which made me feel so much better on our wedding day). Not to mention how quickly she responds and you get sneak peeks!!!! And of course, her pictures left me speechless. She got pictures of everyone I asked for and she shot things I didn’t even think of and I am so so grateful. They were so gorgeous and I couldn’t have wished for a better way to remember the best day of my life! If you’re here to read the highlights: We can’t recommend Lucy enough! We adored working with her throughout our engagement and on our wedding day, and the photos she produced were breathtaking and captured the joy and love of the day. Now, here’s the long version :) Lucy was enthusiastic about our ideas despite some of them being different than usual (“Can you shoot us in a diner for our engagement shoot? Can we wear animal onesies?”). She and her team took extra time to make sure we were comfortable in front of the camera and the photos came out even better than we envisioned. As an added bonus, she also shoots both digital and film at the same time (if you’ve never seen dual-wielded camera holsters, prepare to be amazed). Lucy is also one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! During our engagement, I injured my ankle and couldn’t walk on it for a few weeks. Lucy saw me post about being on a knee scooter and sent an UberEats gift card. This was totally unexpected and such a kind gesture! This kindness is inherent in who she is as a person and how she runs her business. In short, if you want excellent photos, a caring vendor, and a bonus bridesmaid who will tear down the dance floor, you want Lucille Photo!

We hired Lucy to do our engagement photos as well as our wedding day. Lucy shot our engagement session and her colleague Jessica was our photographer for the wedding. We can't say enough good things about both of these ladies! Our engagements photos turned out beautifully, and Lucy made us feel so comfortable. We also received our gallery super quick, which was a plus. Now for our wedding day - Jessica was absolutely amazing! We were nervous that it wasn't going to be Lucy taking our photos, but we quickly realized how talented Jessica is (and so friendly)- what a pair those two ladies are! There wasn't a single photo that we didn't like. Lucy also launched her photo booth right before our wedding, so last minute we decided to include that. Best decision we made! Our guests LOVED the photo booth and had so much fun. 10/10 would recommend. You will be so pleased if you hire Lucy and her team!

Highly recommend! We spent a lot of time researching photographers, but continued to come back to Lucy. After seeing the photos she took for our engagement, we knew she was going to be able to get the job done for our big day. We emailed Lucy and she was extremely easy to communicate with and was always honest and upfront on anything we weren’t sure about. She even gave us tips on where to buy cute outfits for our engagement shoot and what colors to wear to compliment each other. Lucy and her assistant showed up on our wedding day and made it a great experience for all of us! We had a Vietnamese American Wedding, so the celebration was running non-stop, from 8AM - 12 AM. Lucy and her team were patient, fun, and efficient- they were able to get so many shots for us despite all the craziness! After getting a sneak peak of some of the photos, we were itching to get them all back even more. The photos are amazing and we are so incredibly happy that we had Lucy take care of the photography for our special day. Even almost a year later, we still can't decide which photos to print for our album because they were all just that amazing! Because of her beautiful shots, we also got the opportunity to be featured in Brides of Houston magazine. Thank you so much Lucy for your amazing work. It is truly perfection and the best part is we're going to be able to look at them for years to come!!

Lucy was amazing! She was so kind and caring! It was like having a friend take the photos! I am NOT a crier. However, I cried like a baby when I received my photos! I originally had decided to not have a photographer. I am so glad that I changed my mind and choose Lucy! I could rave about her for hours!

Lucy was already booked for our wedding day, so we decided to have Jessica shoot our wedding. She did such a fabulous job and was lots of fun. After shooting our photos with Lucy, I now totally understand why people love it so much! She came all the way to Chicago to take photos in our favorite spots since this is where we met and currently live. We decided to go with film because it meant Lucy really knew how to use and work with her camera and the photos she took were authentic to the moment. The whole experience was so fun, for me and my partner, and I honestly want to go and do it again!

Lucy was the perfect choice. She seemed so much more interested in what was important to me and my fiance than any other photographer that I spoke to and was so quick to respond to all of our inquires. Lucy is a rockstar! When I found Lucy, I had probably been engaged for about two weeks, but I knew I needed her in on our big day. I kid you not, we booked our venue AFTER we booked Lucy and based our wedding date on her availability. Her photos are absolutely gorgeous and she is constantly learning more about her trade. I found that not only was she our photographer, she was an ally throughout the process. From suggesting engagement and bridal photo locations, listening to me vent about wedding stresses, and herding cats on the big day, Lucy was there to guide us in the right direction each time. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! She’s one of those photographers that you want to capture every milestone in your life, but if you can at least have her on your big day, you’re pretty much set! 10 out of 10!

Lucy was the best decision we made for our wedding!! She has this incredible way of making you feel at ease and comfortable throughout the stressful process of planning a wedding. From our first initial inquiry email you could see her personality shine through and immediately we knew she was the photographer for us! Lucy was one of the best decisions/ vendors we had as part of our special day! Even the months and days leading up to our big day, Lucy made us feel so special and excited! She was more than a wedding photographer, she became a friend. She helped bring ideas to the table when I was struggling with decisions or unsure of certain things I wanted. Lucy kept me on a better schedule the day of than my coordinator and that was a huge plus. She is an honest individual and will get the job done no matter the weather, no matter the circumstance! Lucy is an absolute MUST!

For me, finding a photographer was the hardest part of planning my wedding. I stumbled across Lucy and instantly fell in love with her style and the fact that she uses both digital and film (such a beautiful medium)!!! After face timing with her, it didn't take long for us to agree that we needed to work with her. We were late to our engagement session and only had a small window of light to take our pictures but you would have never known! She put music on her speaker and worked it! We ended up using those pictures for our guest album. All our guests loved it! At our wedding, it was like seeing a friend again. We didn't feel awkward or shy when she was around and everything moved smoothly. When we received our wedding pictures back she honestly made the day come back to life for me. What they say is true - your wedding day will pass by so quickly! It feels like a blur! I am so thankful that Lucy was able to make me feel everything all over again. She is amazing!!

Lucille Photo was a fantastic investment. Lucy is a warm and reassuring person that is a joy to work with. Included in the wedding package was an engagement session – this was key to putting me at ease because Lucy proved she could somehow make me and my fiancé photogenic. She gives easy to understand directions for adorable photos that don’t seem posed. But she also captures the un-posed natural moments in between. The color saturation and composition of the photos are beautiful. On the day of the wedding (outdoor venue, approx. 75 guests) Lucy captured everything efficiently, and I am convinced she can handle any hurdle, including difficult family portrait drama. However, it’s the work that speaks for itself. I loved the photos, and of course I wanted to order a print album from Lucy. While you can use her website to construct the print album yourself, I chose to order additional pages and have Lucy put together the album for me. All I had to do was tag my favorite photos. The thing is, when I was done tagging my favorites (where I or my fiancé looked especially good, or that captured a special moment), I realized that out of hundreds of photos, 30% of them were special favorites/album contenders! Wow! The finished album was flawless and definitely worth the investment. My only regret is that I did not additionally purchase a bridal session. After seeing the finished wedding photos - how nice she made me look in that dress, it would have been nice to memorialize my wedding dress/princess moment, in a separate session. Book Lucille photo, you won’t regret it. I appreciate her work so much I have since hired her to photograph a promotion ceremony!

LUCY IS SO AMAZING!!! Okay so first of all, our wedding pictures were the most important thing for us when we started planning our wedding. So we spent a ton of time trying to find the right person (seriously we spent hours looking for someone)! I am sooo thankful we found Lucy - she was so sweet, personable and seriously talented! Our engagement and wedding pictures are completely perfect!! She made us feel comfortable and was so professional! Lucy and the second shooter were there on time and got everything done. She helped me make sure I was on time the day of the wedding so everything would run smoothly. Seriously, she was more helpful than my same day coordinator and my coordinator was awesome! You will have saved yourself a lot of stress if you go with Lucy because she’s THE BEST!! I also did a Boudoir shoot with her and was so nervous about that because I thought it would be so awkward and uncomfortable but it was like I was just hanging out with a bestfriend! She makes taking pictures feel so natural if your camera shy or feel awkward! PICK LUCY IF YOU NEED ANY TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY DONE!! She was also so quick to text or email me back! Literally every experience I had with her was great! Best photographer I’ve ever met and best pictures I’ve ever seen! Her edits look so natural! Seriously so talented! Thank you so much for everything you did for us Lucy! You’re the best!!!

I wish I could give Lucy and her team 100 stars, because they deserve every single one. When I booked Lucille Photo, Lucy was actually already busy that day so she offered her assistant, Jessica. I gladly accepted, and so glad I did. Though I was lucky enough to have Lucy shoot my bridals (which she knocked out of the park), I felt very lucky to have Jessica there on my big day. Fun fact - I was going to have a helicopter (that was later cancelled) and Jessica agreed to go with us! She hay have gotten her will in order but she was so on board about being there for all the moments of my wedding day. How amazing is that? I really felt like these ladies would have done anything and they definitely went above and beyond. She made picture-taking effortless and fun. She was there for whatever I needed, even non photo related stuff! She was so kind and personable to everyone. I never once worried if she was going to miss a moment, and she didn’t. Once we received our photos back my jaw hit the floor. I was blown away by all the small details of my day that were captured. Every photo is breathtaking and I’ve had multiple people tell me I have the best wedding photos they have ever seen. If no one has told you, your wedding will be a blur and will go by in the blink of an eye, all you will have to look back on and remember is photos. So hire a great photographer. Hire Lucille Photo and trust her when she says Jessica is just as good as her. I honestly don’t think another photography business could have photographed my big day like Lucille Photo did. I will be recommending them for a lifetime.. I can’t thank you ladies enough, honestly. I’m so sad this wedding season is over in my life, because I won’t be communicating with these amazing girls. . If you decide to start photographing maternity, babies, and family sessions you have my number.. 😉

Lucy did an absolutely amazing job and we love our photos! The perfect day would not be complete without the perfect pictures to capture it and I am already in love with our sneak peek photos! I like to say that a referral is the best choice you can make and Lucy was referred to me by one of my bridesmaids - who is also a wedding photographer! Our engagement photos with Lucy were phenomenal and the way she captures natural lighting is amazing. Every one of our photos has a pop of color that is light and bright and really makes our photos stand out. She made things so easy on our wedding day and it really felt like we had a friend with us who was capturing our best moments. Where do I even start? Using words like fantastic, fun, and absolutely amazing don’t even come close to describing Lucy! This girl KNOWS her stuff, and my goodness is she good at it. I hadn’t even had a full conversation with Lucy before booking her... She told me two other brides were looking at my date and I didn’t want to risk losing her, so I jumped. Best decision ever! (Besides my man, of course.) Lucy made us feel so comfortable during our engagements, she even had pizza with us afterwards! Halfway through planning the wedding we increased our photo package- she’s that amazing. She danced with us during the reception then met us at the bar for the after party! I beyond highly suggest Lucy, she’s so professional but at the same time she’s become a friend. We are more than thrilled with our wedding photos and we couldn’t have made a better choice for our photographer.

Having Lucy as our wedding photographer proved to be one of the best decisions we made. Not having any idea what I was doing, she really helped calm my nerves throughout the entire planning process. When I knew I wanted her photography style for our portraits, but wasn’t sure how she would capture our darker, more moody theme, she assured us that she was absolutely up for the challenge. When I needed help building my timeline, she created it for me without even hesitating. When it stormed on the day of my OUTDOOR bridals, Lucy was there and willing to move it inside if needed. When we chose to keep my bridal shoot outdoors and I was eaten up by mosquitoes, she so kindly edited out all of my bites. Lucy is simply a bright and encouraging light when you need it most. It is almost as if nothing can go wrong when she’s on your team. This was something I found to be extremely valuable when some things inevitably do go wrong. We met Lucy via FaceTime shortly after we were engaged. Our first impression was that she is a bright, fun and friendly person who is truly passionate about capturing joy through photography. From the beginning and throughout the process she has been very prompt and helpful in her communication, typically via email, but also on the phone, when necessary. She shot our engagement photos (with our sweet dog) a few months later. It was easy to get on her schedule and she was very helpful in providing feedback regarding the location, etc. She helped provide us with all of the info we needed to get the details just right! We love our engagement photos and how beautifully they turned out! Lucy shot our rehearsal dinner (I did not want bridal portraits so we did this instead) and did a wonderful job of capturing many candid moments from the evening! She also shot some posed photos of our families and wedding party – we were even able to go around the corner and get shots of the two of us at the site of our first date! She was very flexible and friendly throughout the evening as she got to know our guests and family. Lucy and an assistant shot our wedding day. We opted for the all-day coverage and we are SO glad we did! They arrived around noon at the house where the bridal party was getting ready. We have some amazing shots of getting our hair and make-up done, along with lots of great pictures that capture the fun we had together. The remainder of the day was a whirlwind and Lucy was there for every second of it! She worked well with the church wedding coordinator and got so many wonderful shots before, during and after the ceremony. We had a very long list of photos that we wanted taken after the ceremony and Lucy did them all in an organized, timely and fun fashion! We were so grateful to have so many beautiful shots from our reception – she truly captured the joy and celebration (especially the dancing) that we shared with our beloved family and friends! And honestly, I barely remember seeing them the entire evening. They were on the spot with the photos but did not disrupt the flow of our reception at all. Lucy worked tirelessly with us as we made multiple changes to the layout of our wedding album. She was so helpful, understanding and timely…and we LOVE our album! It perfectly captures our day! Lucy and Jessica were amazing. Salt of the earth. I was super nervous because we did not have a great experience with a natural light photographer who did our engagements in Houston so I made sure for the wedding that I dug into research and Instagram and low and behold I found this gem out of San Antonio who was willing to travel to Austin to shoot our wedding. Our venue required our photographer to shoot there before the wedding and Lucy did not even hesitate. She drove all the way to Austin and she braved mosquitoes on a different level, fixed my hair 73848 times, found spots in the venue you would never think to take a photo and they turned out to be so beautiful and unique. We are very awkward subjects to take a photo of but she made it so fun and natural. Fast forward to wedding day, Jessica and Lucy showed up at the houses we rented and started to take pictures while us girls were finishing touch ups to hair and makeup and getting ready to head to the venue. (Ps. Lucy also packed her car with all of our flowers, like what! Are you real? Just another sweet gesture!) When we got to the venue it was a little chaotic because the venue had an strict hours policy and everyone was running around like chickens with their heads cut off but Lucy and Jessica were the real MVP’s and took control and it was a breath of fresh air to me and everyone who worked hard to make that day happen. She had us laughing and really easing the nerves. We are so glad we booked Lucy and Jessica because it allowed the guys to have a photographer and us a girls so I did not feel like much was missed. Basically, they are amazing, the only con I can think of is she underestimated how great she would be with the flash and out of natural light when the sun went down because the pictures I have seen are so gorgeous. I wish we had more time for photos with me and my husband alone but he really didn’t want a first look so that is all I would change. We may book her to do another bridal session so we can make up for that. You won’t be disappointed if you book Lucille photo, but you will be if you don’t!! Xoxo

From start to finish Lucy and her team have been amazing! She is very responsive and always willing to help and give recommendations. Our engagement were absolutely beautiful and she was so helpful when helping me pick a location. Her team was at my wedding and they were so sweet and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. I followed Lucy's work on instagram and fell in love with her photography! This girl is highly talented, super friendly and very accommodating. When I got engaged, I knew I wanted her to do our shoot. My schedule really limited my availability but Lucy worked with us to nail down a date. She was quick to respond to my e-mails even in the mix of a crazy busy wedding season for her! True professional through the whole experience. We absolutely LOVED how our photos came out!

Where do I even start with how amazing Lucy is?? First, it will feel more like working with a girlfriend you've known forever than a photographer. She goes the extra mile to get to know you beforehand and will deliver the most STUNNING pictures. (Seriously, this girl knows her LIGHTING y'all.) We didn't go with a videographer and I was bummed we wouldn't have something that showcased the WHOLE day (from getting ready to the last crazy dance), but Lucy captured it all! My family took the bridezilla reigns from me, the 4yo’s refused to be happy about any photos, my bridesmaids were never where they should have been, and our officiant finished the ceremony in half the time sending everyone scurrying.... and YET Lucy helped make it the best day of our life. If you don’t hire this girl, your trippin’! She is the calm you need on your big day, and the only vendor you don’t have to worry about. She makes things happen! Lucy is incredible! I’m a professional wedding photographer based in Dallas and when I came down with a severe stomach bug and couldn’t make it to a wedding I had booked in Austin, Lucy stepped in and took over for me. I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible Lucy and her team is and how much I appreciated Lucy. Her work is truly the best I have ever seen and I cannot begin to tell you how many time I go look at our photos. Throughout the process, she gave me great feedback and helpful advice and was so genuine about everything. From our engagements to the big day, everything was so easy and natural with her. The day of our wedding, we had some changes and mix ups and Lucy made everything work and did not complain at all. Especially during July-she made the heat work and made sure we were so comfortable. She is professional, confident, authentic, and so talented. She took on so many roles that evening and even made sure I had a drink in my hand on the dance floor. She gave great direction to our wild wedding party and rallied everyone to listen to make sure she could follow our plan. We got back some sneak peaks from our wedding and I was in tears. I will never be able to work with another photographer. HIRE THIS GIRL! I don't think I can say enough to recommend Lucy. From the beginning, Lucy was so accommodating! I live in Houston, but was getting married in Austin. After one session of FaceTime I knew there was no question Lucy was the perfect choice. Lucy helped me even figure out my wedding day timeline, she brought great perspective and was so incredibly helpful. Lucy has a great talent of making you feel like a friend from the very beginning. I normally am worried about how I look in pictures and feel awkward. Lucy made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable being in front of a camera all day. Lucy is also extremely professional. Finding the right photographer was probably in my top 5 ‘super tough decisions’ while planning our wedding – luckily I found Lucy! I had dredged through countless websites and reviews and talked with several photographers and thought I would never find the right fit for us…as soon as I saw Lucy’s work I knew she would be the one to capture the memories of one of most important days of our lives. Once we had our engagement session, the rest of my fears melted away. Lucy is so fun and energetic and never once posed us in super unnatural positions that felt ‘staged’. Lucy is amazing! She did my engagements, bridals, and wedding! She showed up earlier than expected for the wedding and helped me coordinate when to do things like the bouquet toss, dances, cutting the cake, etc. She made me feel calm and comfortable and it was so easy with her! Since I took pictures with her beforehand I got to know her and how she does things so that was a plus! My husband doesn’t like pictures but somehow she got him to take some! Lucy is amazing! She was an absolute delight to work with—from the first meeting all the way through she wanted to give us the experience we envisioned for our wedding day. I don’t quite know if I can put into words how wonderful Lucy is! From the very beginning Lucy was so helpful, so much fun but also professional and very responsive. She always would message be back so quickly which was wonderful but so quickly I wonder when she stops working! Our first FaceTime we instantly clicked and I knew she would be the perfect fit for my fiancé and I. I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to photography so all I knew was to explain the look I wanted, but didn’t really know what else to ask... well Lucy was so helpful and explained to me each process and what she offers. Lucy is absolutely the best! She was so sweet and easy to work with, from the engagement shoot, having to reschedule my bridals (due to weather) and our wedding! From the start to the very end Lucy felt more like a friend than a business. She started our relationship with a simple FaceTime to get to know my husband and I and that ultimately set her apart from everyone else(but her portfolio also speaks for itself)! Lucy is truly talented and what a blessing that she was able to share her talent with us in order to capture everything we wanted and more than I could have ever imagined. How Lucy was able to capture all of the details of the day is a mystery. She made sure to get all of the important shots and so many wonderful candid shots too. She must have been all over the place! And yet, we didn't even notice she was there. It was so reassuring to be able to trust Lucy with one of the most important days of our life.The photos she took captured our story and brought back every feeling from our wedding day. Lucy was the best choice we made when planning our wedding! I cannot thank her enough for being a professional, friendly presence on our wedding day and throughout the entire planning process! Unfortunately we weren’t able to use Lucy. She and I FaceTimed on a Wednesday night. I told her that I was very interested, but needed to clear it with my fiancé and father. She told me she would give me a week to contact her. Well 2 workdays later on Monday, I called to tell her I was ready to put down a deposit, and she told me someone booked her on my date. She said she emailed me to let me know, however there wasn’t an email until after the phone call. I find this very unprofessional. I also question how committed she is to her clients based on my experience with her. My fiancé and I are glad we found out the way she does business before our wedding day.

I can't say enough about Lucy. From our initial Skype session (we live on the East Coast and were planning a wedding in San Antonio) to her thoughtful engagement/welcome gift and note to her RAPID response to emails and text messages, we never once had to stress about whether or not we would be taken care of. Our package included an engagement session, and I was a bit unsure of whether or not we wanted/should do this. However, it was a great way to get to know Lucy (and her us), get a sneak peak at her amazing talent, and be reassured about how smooth and fun our wedding day would be. Taking photos can be a bit awkward and neither my husband nor I feel particularly natural in front of the camera, but Lucy made us feel immediately comfortable. She cracked jokes and captured us in our natural element. Plus, her photos and use of light are absolutely gorgeous. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to find a photographer that could give us the "feel" we were going for and would also be affordable..but Lucy exceeded our expectations in every way! I will definitely be recommending Lucy to all of my SA friends.

Absolutely blessed with her!!! Lucille is both a great friend, and a great a photographer. Marriage is a life-long choice and with that being said, you also want to capture that "once in a lifetime" moment. You only choose one partner, and essentially one photographer. I KNOW i made the right choice! :) Lucy is a stand-out. She was helpful, and accommodated to our needs and our wants. She Skyped with us, meet up with us, and all before the "Big Day." She truly got our "awkward photo" stages out on just the first day. She is absolutely recommendable.

Lucy did an amazing job taking photos for our November wedding! She really gets to know her clients well and takes time to figure out the things they like. On the day of the wedding she was super willing to be flexible even though she was on a tight schedule. A few days after the wedding we received exciting sneak peaks of our beautiful pictures, and we fell in love. We couldn’t wait for the full album. Then, a few weeks later we received our pictures, on time mind you, and we adored every last one! Thank you Lucy for your amazing work!

My husband and I had an amazing engagement session with Lucy. She made us feel so comfortable and we laughed a lot too. We loved our pictures so much that we had no doubt our wedding pictures would be AMAZING too!
