ur day to the end. We had a large wedding party and a lot of extra special surprises during the day of the wedding and Lucy captured all of it. She had a 2nd photographer with her to get the groom and groomsmen who were on one side of a very large church while she captured all special moments with bride and bridesmaids on the other side of the church. During the wedding she got pictures of the Groom's first look at the bride among so many more. After the wedding we had a special request to make a pit stop at the Groom's Great Grandmother's house when she suddenly fell ill and couldn't make the wedding. Lucy didn't hesitate she followed the Bride n Groom while the 2nd. photographer followed the wedding party. Later at the reception again Lucy was on par and captured all the traditional pics we knew she would get but she also captured our family n friends in the most cherished pictures. We love our pictures and now that the wedding day is in the past we can say hiring Lucy Thompson was the best decision we made. Lucy is kind hearted and cares about her work and the people she is working with. The pictures she took are treasured.

with her “crew” took an insane amount of photos which, the majority, were perfect in every way. The bad, Lucy was late the morning of by about an hour- not a big deal – but there were some photos I wanted to take getting ready that we couldn’t take because the ceremony was about to start. She was also late when my Husband & I stopped at my parent’s church for a secret photo shoot- also not a deal breaker but was added stress to the day. In the end I am upset some photos I wanted were not taken, but the photos I got were lovely. Most of the photos of the guests dancing were very blurry and out of focus. I was a little disappointed as my request was for a lot of action photos. The ugly, after the wedding was over it felt like forever to get my photos back. I felt like I had to contact Lucy a few too many times asking when my photos would be ready I was always met with excuse. Our gallery was posted about 3 weeks after our wedding, I was not able to download the photos from the gallery until about 13 weeks later. It was a little discouraging seeing other friends who got married after us have all their photos available before us. I finally got my prints back a few weeks before Christmas. I did not get all the photos I ordered and I got photos I didn’t order. I was disappointed most in the time management and organization of the photos after the wedding. Over all, Lucy was good. She was easy to work with and took some great photos that truly embrace the day and all the fun we had.
