About this vendor
Our Bavarian Cream Cheesecake is the cake Tulsa couples ask for by name. Light sponge cake layered with cream cheese filling, finished in a non-dairy whipped icing, with house-made raspberry or strawberry sauce on the side if you'd like it.
Ludger's Bavarian Cakery is a family-owned bakery in south Tulsa, and wedding cakes are the heart of what we do. The signature cake comes in nine flavors, from vanilla and chocolate to key lime, red velvet and strawberry lemon swirl, and we offer gluten-free options. If you'd rather have a traditional cake, we make those too, in select sizes with your choice of cake flavor and filling.
Whatever your budget, we have a cake for it, and most tiered wedding cakes come to about $5 to $6 per serving. Many designs are included in the base price. Groom's cakes, side cakes for extra servings, and cake stand rentals are all available, and we deliver up to about two hours from Tulsa. See our brochure for the full price list.
Start with a tasting, either in store with a consultation or with a take-home tasting kit. There's a small charge, and you can book online.

rocess was easy, fun, and stress‑free. Highly recommend this vendor to any couple looking for a cake that tastes as amazing as it looks. We ordered a 10" chocolate cake with white buttercream frosting for the display and the rest was sheet cakes in the kitchen.

asting of about 10 flavors for free. I had a lot of changes to make throughout the process of finalizing the cake, and dragged my feet on making some decisions while trying to balance my budget, and they were always so gracious and patient. They delivered the cake promptly, and it turned out absolutely beautiful and delicious. They also offer a great deal on an anniversary cake on your first anniversary, so we are counting down the days for that!
The cake was stunning and tasted amazing! I’m so glad I decided to splurge on my cake everyone at the wedding told me how amazing it was! That strawberry sauce is everything!

Ludger's is the absolute best! Our cake turned out perfectly and was delicious as always. Everyone we worked with during the planning process was so kind and helpful.
The cake alone at Ludger's is probably the best I've ever had, but I also believe they went above and beyond on our design. I had my vision and honestly wasn't sure if it was going...

They take the time to consult with you and offer helpful opinions and input when asked. I had many guests comment on how great the cake was- many guests ate multiple slices. who delivered the cake was not very helpful to my day of coordinator and left no instructions on how to serve(there is specific instructions I was warned about at the planning meeting but was told there would be directions given the day of to my coordinator). Other than this issue, which was resolved by a phone call, it was a good experience.
Great looking cake w/o using fondant and the guests loved the chocolate with red velvet filling! Easy to work with too.
Naked cake was DELICIOUS!!!
Vanilla with Raspberry Sauce :)

number of guests. That ended up being way too much, so we ended up with a TON of leftover cake. But it was so delicious we didn't care!
Do make sure to speak to your venue about any extra sauce you get. We paid for raspberry sauce but it wasn't served. That's no reflection on Ludger's, it was our venue's fault.... just advice for future brides!
The consultation was great i showed them a picture of the design for the wedding cake and grooms cake. And it turned oozy perfect, the came on time. All my guest loved the cake a...

cakes with bavarian cream is unreal! I changed my mind on the traditional plain cake after I tried it. My husband doesn't like cake so we also ordered brownies for him and stacked them into a grooms "cake". The brownies were decent. The employees are really friendly and easy to communicate with, however there were still a few misunderstandings. The cake was not stacked exactly how I wanted so it bothered me a little but my guests had no idea my vision and loved it. If you're going for taste and friendly employees I recommend ludgers. If you have a specific mental image of what you want it to look like, make sure you are very clear with them.
Our cake was beautiful and was so delicious!! I highly recommend the Bavarian cream cheese cake and Ludger's in general, they are good at what they do!
Words cannot describe how much I love their cakes, if you haven't had them you need to try them! The cakes were beautifully done and I couldn't have been happier with them.
The service wasn't all that personal, but the price was ok, the cake tasted wonderful, and the design looked excellent!
Cake was moist and delicious...multiple compliments! Staff was easy to work with.
